Looking forward to this game! Not long now!

I bought some of the AC cards, hardly ever use them. Pretty sure I would hardly use these as well. Would rather spend my money on games, tbh.

I really hope that they cut the price for the N3DS XL, preferably shortly after the Switch release (though SOONER would be great too).

Already pre-ordered! Can't wait!

When there's a good sale, I'll probably download it from Steam. This game looks beautiful! I have plenty to play for now though.

I mostly used Miiverse just for Splatfests. I loved seeing everyone's creative artwork for it!

I still think the N3ds is an extension of the 3ds family line. I would not be surprised if more N3ds exclusive titles were in the works. I am in NO hurry to see the 3ds family go! Hopefully at least a year more, two would be better in my book!

I'm kind of sad that so many seem to be eager for the 3DS family to end. I'm not ready, that's for sure. They're great little systems, especially for kids! I know all good things must come to an end, but I hope the wind down is a slow one.

I'll keep playing online Splatoon for as long as I am able. Still need to reach level 50!

The Switch is fine in price (way out of my range, especially when games, etc. are thrown in, but it's understandable). Still wishing the price for the N3DS would come down, especially if they're going to produce more N3DS exclusive games (which I suspect they are, though I could be wrong).

Even my hubby really likes this game (WiiU), and that's saying something since he's not a big gamer. If you don't have the WiiU, but have a 3ds, definitely pick this up!

@Noelemahc Not necessarily. There aren't enough games in the current switch lineup to tempt me to buy a switch. It would be cheaper for me to upgrade to an N3DS.

I'm wondering if this is the beginning of more N3DS exclusives (from older models).

I guess I'm upgrading to the New Nintendo 3DS.

I'll be interested in learning more about the mobile app. I'll enjoy looking at Warriors, even though I'm not getting a Switch.

Currently working through Conquest. If Fates really does come to Switch, I highly recommend. If they sell it in one cart for Switch, I'll be jealous! I missed out on the special edition cart for the 3DS (have the physical copy of Birthright, downloaded Conquest and Revelations).

Given it's limited battery life on the go, I don't think of the Switch as a handheld replacement, I see it as more of a home console more than anything else. I also wouldn't let a kid take a $300 system on the go.

I'm glad that 3DS will still be going strong for a bit longer. I'm much more of a handheld gamer than a console or pc gamer. Some excellent looking games are coming out this year for the 3DS, and I'm excited!!!

Also, I have yet to see a Mini NES Classic in stores... :-/

I may try it on Steam, once the price goes down. I have a hefty backlog to keep me occupied until then, I can wait.

I'm not planning on purchasing a Switch, but I found the presentation interesting. Fire Emblem Warriors was the only game that stood out to me (and it was probably one of the least covered). I don't like the idea of paid online game play, though Splatoon 2 looked lovely. I was a little disheartened by the price (still hoping for a permanent New 3DS mark down). Was never interested in BOTW, and I wasn't just amazed by the other games featured (though I know more will be coming). For now I am very content with my Wii U and 3DS.

Also (and I know it's a bit off topic), I hope another Nintendo Direct will come in a few weeks for the 3DS. Several awesome looking titles are coming this year, and I'm hoping to hear about a few more (coughs ETRIAN ODYSSEY V coughs).

Hopefully the next news from Atlus will be about Etrian Odyssey V...

I always thought that Fire Emblem and Warriors would be a match made in Heaven. Wish it was coming out on 3DS (but I understand why it wouldn't).

Absolutely yes to a permanent price drop to the 3DS family! I've decided that I want to upgrade to a New 3DS XL, but not for $200 (or more, depending on the seller).

Ever Oasis, Pikmin, Story of Seasons: Trio of Towns, and Super Mario Superstars are the announced games that I'm looking forward to the most this year. Also hoping for Etrian Odyssey V (and as I've already said many, many times, Untold III)! Pretty please, Atlus?

I ended up getting Lord of Magna and Adventure Bar Story.

I recommend KAMI if you like puzzlers. I'm also enjoying Samurai Defender.

I voted Pocket Card Jockey and FE Fates. Haven't gotten around to Kirby Planet Robobot yet, but it is on my Christmas wishlist this year...so we'll see.

Seriously hoping we get Etrian Odyssey V and Untold III for the 3DS...sooner the better. Haven't heard anything about them lately, and I'm starting to worry a little bit. Would love to vote for them next year!

Like others have said, 3DS had a good year. FE Fates (Birthright) was a highlight for me. I only just recently got Hyrule Warriors Legends, but haven't gotten far into it yet. I'm more excited about what's to come in 2017 though.

Two or three units at some stores is not what I call "trying to satisfy demand".

If it were to have an excellent GameCube VC library, along with a solid Switch library, I might consider a purchase further down the road. Still not interested in getting it day 1 (if at all).

I guess it's probably good that my Christmas wasn't dependent upon this one item. Pretty sure I won't even see one until January.

Still a little sad that they haven't made an AW title for the 3DS. May get Dual Strike for the Wii U down the road. Need to play a few more Christmas gigs before I can justify buying anything fun.

Fantasy Life is also one of my faves of all time! Still need to finish FE: Fates. Tales of the Abyss is also excellent. Honestly I don't think that I was really into RPGs until I got a 3DS. Now a majority of my games are RPGs!

Was going to get this day one, then I had to replace 2 tires on my car (adulting stinks sometimes). Guess I'll be working on my backlog...at least until my birthday or Christmas.

If this is true, I really hope that this means the New 3DS will make a permanent price drop.
