Love the voiceover work and especially Patricia does a fantastic job.
One trope I actually hope will die out is the "silent protagonist" so commonplace in jrpgs. I get the idea is that the player can "project" his personality onto a plain canvas, but it does exactly the opposite and I care less about him/her/it, especially when everyone else is chatting away. Prime example being the last Dragon Quest.
Probably left out the fact that Nintendo most likely charged more for the repair than a Wii U goes for these days. So yeah, so much for the friendly neighborhood Nintendo narrative.
Corporations overrate consumers sense of nostalgia. I'm not getting any kicks with pre SNES games, even though I grew up with a NES and Game Boy. Even most PS1 and N64 games don't interest me anymore. I did consider the physical edition for the artbook and collectors value though.
@dew12333 that's a quick assumption and taken out of context.
Actually he's quite the impressive and prolific creator/developer. The quality and output of RGG studios is impressive considering the relatively low budget. And if you read about his humble beginnings quite a good hearted person.
Only would consider cloud gaming on a subscription basis with a rich catalogue. The idea of "owning" a game between digital purchase and cloud gaming is nonsensical though. Only physical games are truly owned.
All of my 4 joy cons are affected by joy con drift. I tried to get in touch with Nintendo Austria/Germany customer service, but they don't give a f***, so I had to do it myself. That means on top of my initial investment I had to invest another 25€ to get replacement analog sticks.
Everybody has the right to customise their hardware and I have a strong dislike for the gloating happening here. In my case, I'm just to lazy to mod my switch at the moment.
Man, I'm also an older gamer, but why does anybody cry out for the nes trilogy? You could play those on any other device, if it's not already part of Nintendo online! If they bundle it with the last gen trilogy it would be a nice bonus though.
Astral Chain and Fire Emblem made 2019 for me personally. To be honest, I prefer Astral Chain over Nier, though Nier is fun, but ac isn't as pretentious. Never could get into bayonetta. After playing two hours it just got too grating.
Not a snack but basically just as low on nutrients: cup noodles in ffxv, don't know if it made the cut into the lite version, but that product placement side quest was a corporate wet dream.
Aha, so they have the chance to make up for the not accessible nonsense they did on the gamecube with the GBA adapters, and f*** it up all over again!?
I was just thinking that a xenoblade game with breath of the wild like climbing and exploring mechanics would be very interesting. Just the thought of scaling a titan gets me hyped.
The animation looks fantastic on this and having local co-op is a good selling point for me. Also, ffxv is one of the coolest looking games. Don't listen to the "ugh, looks like a jpop band" crowd.
If it's a battery issue, then just get a replacement online, find a YouTube tutorial and DIY. They're making it sound scarier than it actually is! Of course if you got hands like Jarjar Bink's, then send it in.
I hope they get less episodes per season and tell a tighter story. S3 was a bloated borefest for most of the season, which could of worked in 4 episodes.
@liveswired I played the trilogy on psplus, they were definitely not bad games. Might have been FPS oversaturated at the time. Far cry 3, Killzone and the first black ops had me more exited back then.
I said it before, I'll say it again... shouldn't they be busy with cyberpunk 2077? ☺️
Seriously, crisis was just a benchmark of yesteryear and mainly a means for the pc master race to compensate. Technically a milestone, but little else.

Re: Random: Masahiro Sakurai Calls Cyberpunk 2077 A "Dream Game"
It's going to be a dream game when fixed. Not ideal, but the naysayers should just enjoy something else instead of bashing someone's hard work.

Re: Nintendo Consoles Are Aimed At "Kids And Teens" Says Sega's Toshihiro Nagoshi
@AtlanteanMan Old fashioned jabs at Sega. Nagoshi didn't even speak badly about the all precious Nintendo.
Sega had the bad luck of always being ahead of it's time! They basically made a Switch in the 90's with the Sega Nomad.

One of the few that think xb2 is way better than the original. I just thought the characters were way more endearing and it didn't drag quite as long.
