Re: Poll: What Features Would You Want In A Switch 'Pro'?

tameshiyaku

Man, that most people voted for a beefier CPU over actual features like less bezel or 4k upscaling really shows how the community is spec crazy. This is Nintendo! Their approach is what innovations do we want and with what cost effective hardware can we reach that goal. A better CPU might be necessary to achieve some goals but ask for too much and it's just a useless expense because Devs won't develop for basically two different machines. Few PS4 games make more use of the pro.

Re: Boob-Filled Borefest Or Game Of Thrones Successor? Reviews For Netflix's Witcher Series Are In

You can really tell that most people aren't even that familiar with the games and even less so with the books and just go in expecting another GoT. The books have loads of campy, funny elements and things taken directly from other fairytails. And for those who complain on comparing it to the games, give me a break. Remember the boy that cries wolf? In the 2nd add-on you are literally in a fairy tale knocking the three little piglets house down... Comparing it snobbishly to GoT is like comparing apples and bananas. They both are great, yet different fantasy tales!

Re: The Witcher Showrunner Doesn't See "Rabid" Fans As The Enemy

@Vepra It seems the majority of the comments here has made this political in advance. Whoever is familiar with the books knows that it covers many themes that could be considered political, and why not!? If contemporary media and arts are not supposed to address current issues (as they have also done in the past, this is not necceseraly "woke culture") then we might as well submit to mind numbing distractions to pacify ourselves from the world around us. Of course, if escapism is all we're looking for, I'm pretty sure the show will have plenty of badass monster hunting to satisfy that need.

Re: Hello Games Founder Sean Murray Shows Interest In No Man's Sky Switch Port

@Edu23XWiiU ugh, such childish, misplaced schadenfreude. NMS is innovative and ambitious despite its shortcomings at launch. That's more you could say about many games coming out these days. Especially considering this comes from a small studio, their efforts should rather be supported than ridiculued. Look at something like anthem or fallout 76, now those are real failures. And why the condescending "PS4 fans"? Guess you still live in the console war days.

Re: Gallery: Here's What The Nintendo Switch Lite Looks Like

tameshiyaku

@BlackenedHalo technically a handheld only version of the switch shouldn't be called a switch, but yeah, changing the name would be a branding nightmare. I assume the lite still uses an usb c Port for charging, so having av go through wouldn't break the bank and have the gadget still live up to its namesake. The 100$€ price difference just doesn't seem justified. I love the look though and if the tech and price were alright I'd get a yellow one for the family at launch. Don't worry, I still love Nintendo... and Sony 😁
