Re: Poll: Are You Happy With Switch 2's Screen? Because Some People Certainly Aren't

sethfranum

Did people not realize if they could be OLED on Switch 2 no one would be able to afford one. OLED at $600+ you think people will buy it? No, one has to consider OLED can't do for what the price Nintendo is asking for at that size of 7.9". Those complaining hasn't gone to Live Experience or watch people streaming how good the LCD is. This isn't 2017 LCD this is what those naysayers are promoting right now. The LCD is 2025 tech they aren't the same as 2017 LCD tech or 2019 OLED. OLED comes with a cost and those saying they want OLED let me ask you got $600+ for Switch 2 right now???

Re: It's Official, Switch 2 Has Sold Over 3.5 Million Units Globally In Its First Four Days

sethfranum

@Spaceman44 They act like Key-Card you first need to install the game with the Disc even though the disc is just the downlead and the other your using your account to download the game aka Code-in-Box tied to your account so same process. One requires the Switch cart inserted to play the other your PS account is the registered Lic holder for the game. So nothing different here.

Re: Best MicroSD Express Cards For Nintendo Switch 2

@CStallion I also mention that someone else makes these exSD not Onn but people dismiss that and said they aren't reliable. At least it's from Lexar that a bonus to hear. I had no problem it was either SanDisk or Lexar that made these and that doesn't cheapen their quality products.

Re: Best MicroSD Express Cards For Nintendo Switch 2

@dark_potato I have a sneaking suspicion that they'll release a 4GB compatible Switch 2 (likely Oled model with better battery life) in 3-4 years.

And you want to pay 600 or more for it right? Have you watched any of the people that went to Live Events and how they mentioned the display was more brighter then their OLED that they brought along to be side by side display comparisons? It's going to be more then 8-10 years before we see a upgrade as the OLED currently can't come down in price to make it a 450.99 console.

Re: Best MicroSD Express Cards For Nintendo Switch 2

@CStallion That's the issue people dismiss Onn 512g exSD and guess what they are also sold out or hard to find. No they wanted to buyup the lot and scalp them to Switch 2 owners is the reason. I got lucky day I saw them I bought four 512gb to have and use.

Re: Poll: Switch 2 Battery Reportedly Lasting Under Two Hours With Mario Kart - How Is Yours Holding Up?

sethfranum

People need to get reality check there's no price drop or new model for at least 8 years. And you will be waiting a long time if that is the case. Even older Switch 1 games will benefit from the upgrade even if they don't have Switch 2 patches. So those naysayers are just making excuses. Now if you can't afford one currently that's different story all together.

Re: Publishers Are "Thanking" Nintendo For Game-Key Cards On Switch 2

sethfranum

@MrGawain If customers don't buy them, they are likely to change their tune.
Unfortunately, the publishers are making those choices for Nintendo at this point. Now if they follow CyberPunk2077 maybe but I've seen plenty right now EA and some others by sheer greed are doing this regardless. They could care less about the consumers.

Re: Publishers Are "Thanking" Nintendo For Game-Key Cards On Switch 2

However, according to a short quote from Kaoko Kino, president of Japanese video game consultancy firm Kyos Inc, publishers are "thanking" Nintendo for Game-Key Cards, noting that the move will help offset the rising cost of game development (thanks, Bloomberg).
That is a joke...notice they never made any consumer survey to confirm this at all. This is all echo chamber talk. Sorry but this doesn't offset rising cost. Publishers aren't for the most part the Devs/Programmers. Digital games don't lower the MSRP. You put on Full cart and charge accordingly. Was it that hard? Make "Key-Card" and "Full" Cart and let consumers choose - I can surmise buyers will go "Full" cart first.

Re: Random: One GameStop Apparently Stapled Receipts To Brand New Switch 2 Boxes, And Guess What Happened...

sethfranum

This comes down to poor manager. Why why?? Use rubber band or tape the receipt to the bag? They made this into a manager caused this was nothing from Nintendo or GameStop corp. This comes down to local manager that did a DS move and caused GameStop $$ loss and will cost them their job. So don't blame the employees their manager did poor job and they get blamed for it. At least news is some of them are getting replacement which is good.

Re: Poll: So, Did You Order A Nintendo Switch 2?

sethfranum

@nessisonett Switch 2 will keep making inventory what are you ranting about? People been saying save up for Switch 2 so you mean you never tried to do that all this year or from last until this year knowing Switch 2 was coming??? Granted there are some in options beyond their control but those that can would do to save up or see what can be saved for just one Switch 2 purchase.
