Glad I got my four 512gb exSD cards. Now I can set both consoles to have two exSD one for standard games and one for "Key-Card" games downloaded.

They question is why is someone questioning where they buy their SW2 at in the first place. It's their money and you pay the same at GameStop or any other retailers to get Nintendo Switch 2.

The catch is that Switch 2 version is a Game-Key Card release. Sigh.
Are we not surprised anymore??? Already paid for Switch 1 version and I'll just do the Switch update rather then pay full price for not even having Full Cart Switch 2. The price they charge for Switch 1 just add more and get Full cart.

@Discostew Your OLED Switch has plastic protector on it as well. And they don't just peel off unless you use some kind of automotive glue remover at that point consider your Switch unless from the damage that stuff would do to it. You can peel off the glass temp gently if you need to remove it but clean the clean correctly. Take your time to do clean and install the protector and you will be fine. But the more temper glass you can get the better. I always look for one that has 4 pieces for the value and if you mess up it your covered.

All my Switches from Day-One were Screen protector. Ask yourself do you put temper glass on your SmartPhone. That response from yourself should tell you as much. Whether or not the display is plastic or not you invest in TemperGlass for the long term unless you got monthly 1K to replace a broken phone everytime-which for most I know don't have funds like that for a broken SmartPhone. You do the smart move or pay for it dearly. Also no one will buying a used scratched up Switch display nor will any Used Game outlets.

@Rebusmind A swollen battery is not something that is linked to this being a new console. This can happen anytime that a battery is faulty. It only gets attention because the Switch 2 just got out.
It's the flavor of Hatin on Nintendo. Just like you mention all Lithium battery can do this brand new so it's not as other said want hardware revision - I say revision to what?

Used Game Retailers will ask and also will test your system they don't just buy used game console without testing. And you will have to provide the login for them to verify this otherwise they will say "No Sale".

Unfortunately some of us aren't made of money to just trade-in. I spent enough on two Switch 2 and hardware that I can't just pull it from "where the sun don't sunshine" like the rest of us without disposable income can do. Even if they make White Switch 2, Mario Switch 2, Pokémon Switch 2-I be furious but what can I do but sit and cry spilled milk all day....ugh...

The next Investor meeting will be the most likely time they will want to boast Switch 2 sales figures.

@electrolite77 It seems they’ve finally got a cultural foothold in the UK and Switch 2 building on that momentum is potentially very significant.
This will interesting coming up to the Holidays to see what sales volumes will be and if they have Switch 2 Mario theme or Pokémon theme color sets alot of current Switch 2 will be not happy including me. I can't just toss funds just to have two more Switch 2 with Mario/Pokémon themes. It will just kill me if they did this. A White Switch 2 version will be ok but M/P theme color Switch 2 ugh......

@AmyTheBrawler That's the problem with Anti. No one has issues with PS5 but for some reason if anyone compares Switch 2 performance to PS5 levels(not Hardware Levels) that hurts his feelings.

@Dpullam That's everyone choice to make and do. There are those that can have more then one console and some that have to choose which one to have. Some people are more on the go and Switch 2 with better performance makes this all the better for their investment. So what works for you isn't the same for another and that's how portable gaming goes.

His site is far better then DF and how they failed to match even his comparisons and objective reviews comparisons. Also worth noting he uses CB Ultimate reviews as Switch 2 version uses that version as well to do honest comparisons just like FF7 interte(missed the name again) to show how close it comes to PS5 version.

That's the beauty of Switch you can still enjoy your backlogs and the tech of Switch 2 help improve the visuals even if there is no update. Witcher 3 is one of them I would try again just to see how good the visual are and if they are getting DLC or update that would be icing on the cake for Witcher 3. Those able to get a Switch 2 will go back to their backlogs and get a better visual upgrade experiences.

@SirLink There's no way any consoles or Switch 2 going to best a PC Gaming Laptop for RAW performance. Switch 2 gives portable and Dock to TV experiences but with it's customizations comes close enough with DLSS to show it can be done and Nintendo achieved it. And that's the part that butte hurts Nintendo hatin' crowd that Switch 2 did the impossible.

Dude, they are not even close. PS4 can't run current CP2077 Ultimate the Devs clearly stated this but you didn't listen to them. I love how people are trying brush aside what the Devs clearly said PS4 can't run CP2077 Ultimate and it compares to PS5 levels. The levels of Delusions drinking the coolaid from DF is just plateable here. DF couldn't tell DLSS and mouse feature on the Switch and to say they have acclaim for Switch 2 is just delusional here.

DOne good stuff? List them please. They clearly have a bias on Switch 2 that is evident from how CY1 compares the games current gen to matching games as oppose to DF comparing it to outdated PS4. They been called out and so afraid to backtrack to face backlash from their supports they can't get out of the rut they got themselves into.

@Exerion76 Have you you watched how they have a slant bias again Switch 2 and they been called out for it but refuse to admit they don't view Switch 2 in any favorable light. CY1 videos on Switch 2 have clearly shown it's on levels of PS5 but DF can't seen to get past PS4.

Many in-game textures are purposefully the same across all platforms, but where there is a difference, the Switch 2 is actually one of the more accomplished consoles in this respect.

In the same breath they again show their bias again the Switch 2 is doing better with DLSS. And just before this they already confirmed it on level as PS5, how is this even possible?

This clearly shows a PS4 bias to grab onto something that was shown by CY1- they are using incorrect information to support a bias view point. This is why DF no longer has any creditability for doing any Switch 2 reviews of anysort.

With shadows, it's noted that indoor settings produce higher quality shadows than those seen on PS4, but outdoor shadows produced by the sun are actually slightly worse.

Can't understand this - it's a level above PS4 but they can't seem to show their bais again. PS4 can't run the latest CyperPunk 2077 did they not mention that as well? CY1 already made video showing this is not true but their PS4 bais can't seen to let it go.

Just think a little about this. And ask nothing has come close. If simple extrapolation that would be in 30 days roughly. Doing in proportion would be 26.25 Million unit sold in 30 days if they keep ramping productions. That would outstrip the 15 mils they said they could put out.

Holiday might be only time for a Mario or Pokémon or both Switch 2 console. But most likely Mario will come first and then Pokémon next year for console launch but if we get both my Funds won't be able to take it in. Buying a Mario or Pokémon console isn't in my future right now as I bought two and that sored my funds.

Someone on here is just needs time out from NL and internet and just play some decent games on Switch 2.

They delayed release to have inventory and that was the smartest move Nintendo could do - I myself wished it was out sooner but the fact they could make more and sell more more then satisfy their share holders leaving us Switch 2 in the cold reality more inventory means better for Nintendo and those looking to get one or replace their Switch 1 and for the Console warriors to bite their lips.

This line sums up all the hatred towards Switch 2. They can't say price or game prices as those others cost more then Switch 2 and games is just MKW the rest of the standard games don't have that price. But if you were to read only what they wrote they make it sound like it just Nintendo doing this. They can't stand the Fact Nintendo is now dealing Power and it butte hurts them.

Switch 2 isn't going to get OLED any time soon maybe 10 years later when they know people can afford 600+ Switch 2. And anyone thinking they will discount is living a sad world of disappointment. They are making sales and have less to worry those talking they buy later when it's selling out as inventory comes in. Talk all they want Switch 2 isn't Dropping the price. Notice they don't say that about the new XboxS or PS5 prices but for delusion it's Switch 2 that must drop in prices. Why aren't you people saying those same things to those other consoles??? @Cipher36 @PrettyPatrick Western release isn't coming they clearly showed they won't get a Western options. Also you need to go to your NSO account and change to Japan region and login again on Switch 2 account to Japan region and then download the code. That's how the physical will work if you don't do this it won't work and then go back to NSO account and change back to your Region and login the Switch 2 account again and that's all you have to do. So it's work to get the Physical rewards to work.

One last advise if your not happy with Switch 2 sell the unit then that way there's no complaints to be had since one no longer owns it.

@jbrodack It's matter of opinion how or what experiences at GameStop is and one bad place isn't a forecast for all other GameStops. Amazon isn't selling Switch 2 stateside here so that is a non-starter to get any comparisons. Again your stating your own opinion and that doesn't make it fact. Amazon isn't your friend they are in the business to make money-how people could think Amazon is your friend is unproductive. What community events? Amazon is a Business not your Friend.
