Re: Trails Beyond The Horizon Lifts Off With New Switch 1 & 2 Release Date

sethfranum

This announcement follows the game's delay just last month from its Fall 2025 date, where the Switch 2 version — which is a Game Key-Card — was also revealed.
At this point Switch1 games will be what I want and then just pay the upgrade. As Switch1 has LE collections. They could just swap the carts and remove the Switch1 cart version and put a Full cart Switch2 in it's place for the price they are asking. Still have the other parts of the series and need to finish those backlogs as well. My Switch1 is paid off and waiting for it now.

Re: Switch 2 Launch Helps Boost US Video Game Spending To Record June High

It doesn't take a diploma to figure this would happen considering the first week 3.5mils units shipped. And maybe until Holiday 2025 will inventory keep up with demands. Any later will hurt Nintendo sales figures and they will be doing alot of PR damage control if they miss having Inventories worldwide this coming November and December.

I know BestBuy did have inventory July 17 but how much depend on location and my GameStop got theirs July 21 but I got one reserved for warranty exchange because my Dock is having tantrums with it's Switch2 console. So they are emailing people whom have accounts with their retailer to notify of re-stock or just call them and if they can tell you then set a date to go find yours at those locations if your trying to still get one.

@SurprisedRobinChu Basically, on this Nintendo-centered site, loyal fans will swear that the Switch 2 out performs and is superior to the Steam Deck in every way imaginable (even though a majority don't own a Steam Deck).
You thought mean what? Nothing. Tell me what's the hottest system the general consumer are looking for drummmbeat "Switch2". It out performs the Steam regardless your trying to spintalk as though talking will make Steam better. Nope, you got a hopeless task here talking without talking. Why own Steam when the 1.5billions Switch1 games are out there and still selling. Steam isn't selling Switch1 150mils units nor did it in one week sell 3mils units? Right.

@jsty3105 * It was a console ban that was acknowledged to be a mistake and then rectified by Nintendo customer service.*
You got "Console warriors" whom could care less. I pointed this out many times in that article what happened and yet people keep "harping" bricked system but never reads the story. Nintendo fixed and the buyer verified and was fixed. The one that isn't talking is the "Pirate" that now has their system blocked from online access and they will never call Nintendo Support because why would they.

People need to remember here SteamDeck is a nique product it cost more and is bigger then Switch 2 and you can get decent grips for Switch 2 if you look for them. But those are working with different tech underneath. General consumer aren't running out there to buy Steam they are going to buy Switch 2. And those are the real world happening. The price point is not going to help Steam but will help Switch 2 as those looking for Switch 2 already have a library Digital or Physical to play on Switch 2 without or without enhancements on Switch 2. It makes game play better and that's what it does. DF is covering their butte hurt because they ask no Devs to come and talk about the games should tell those following DF what their narrative is to dismiss having any creditable Devs to talk about their game development. This should tell all they aren't doing good reviews but "Opinionated" reviews without even asking Developers feedback or comments about their game development. Like the video I linked the youtubber even asked why don't they just get a Developer with them to talk???? Ask yourself why is that???

Re: Nintendo Is Seeking Player Feedback On Game-Key Cards In Japan

sethfranum

@HalBailman I get your frustration and personally wish I didn't need to download 50 GB of data for Street Fighter 6 when I inserted the key card. The question is: Would I pay $20 more to avoid that process? No!
Then why don't they give us that option? Like I said make the options there are a majority that will get Physical before Key-Card or eShop when given the choice. It's just has to be standard Full cart and that will still sell.

Re: Nintendo Is Seeking Player Feedback On Game-Key Cards In Japan

sethfranum

@HalBailman You already missed my points. eShop can't be sold this part you don't understand. Only if you allow them but remove them and they have "0" access to your plan. So tell me how is that beneficial?

Also developer just charge higher for FULL physical for the larger card what is so hard to understand here?

Crucial factor they don't charge less for eShop or Key-Card but they charge MSRP as though it was Physicals so tell me why should it cost the same where there is no actual Cart with game? Developers haven't answered that question they just dodge saying why they can't charge prices accordoingly.

Just wished it wasn't Dreaded "Key-Card. Common.....

And they cost the same for SW1 and SW2 version? What gives? They could add the price to make the 64g SW2 from 59.99 to 69.99???? And just add that cost to the game? I have yet to hear satisfactory Pubs explanation with excuses even to why? For now I placed PreOrder for both and will cancel one or the other when it comes time.
