thanks for posting the pictures of skyrim. the switch version actually looks a lot better than I thought It would. that coming from a handheld is really good!

I really thought that matching colours would look better than that. The mismatched colour scheme is actually growing on me but I’m still sticking with grey.
what I would really like is a sleek Zelda or splatoon themed pro controller!

a racer day one is great news. it rounds out the launch. count me in! these two games plus Zelda, I don't want to run the risk of not having enough space for splatoon test fire. well SD card day one it is then. this makes the launch heaps better

I like to really take my time in a game like this and just soak it all in. It would be nice if it was longer but good story and gameplay will be more important. I normally enjoy the second play through of a game more than the first.

Unique marketing. I'm not a fan of social media but you can't ignore it nowadays if you are trying to market something like the switch. Good job Nintendo:)

This game looks hot. I think the HD ice cubes in the control pad will really help.

these are really tiny file sizes given the games. add in splatoon and it will still all fit. that said I will buy the biggest sd card I can afford as soon as I need it. it doesn't worry me cos I had a ps vita and remember having to buy a memory card day one. considering how much of a pain in the arse it is to change a HDD on a ps4, this is going to be heaps better!

This is great news. However I still worry about undocked. I know the screen resolution is lower but even so without the plugged in power I really hope it can keep up.

i would buy any and all of the res evil games that came to switch. probably just look at their cases occasionally as i payed splatoon, but i would still buy them

Yes a Nintendo direct about the UI and e-shop would be nice. But its more important that Nintendo get the word out in ways like the superbowl and the other adds it has been making. Knowing about the UI is hardly going to make or brake a sale.

when Mario kart hits switch there will be lots of time spent with my three kids in battle mode. many gamers nowdays have never even played local multiplayer that way. it really can be a great time!

I will be buying every RPG that comes to switch. then struggling to finish any of them cos I cant get off splatoon.

My 4 year old goes around saying “I’m a gamer like dad and I’m never going to change my mind” so like your family getting a second switch makes sense, not straight away but defiantly by the end of the year, probably when splatoon 2 comes out

i would be onboard. i was really excited about PSVR but as time went by it became apparent that the games were not the "full" games i was hoping for so i cancelled my pre order. i now have very toned down expectations when it comes to vr.

Has Nintendo seen eBay? It’s out of control! There is lots of money being made but not by them, crap loads of people biding too. What a mess / missed opportunity. Makes me worry about the switch. Reggie says "nar man its cool the switch will be fine" (not a direct quote), but then he said they were on to the mini problem. If this is on to it then holy crap!

it will keep the game fresh though. with new content later in the year it will remind the people that haven't bought it by then to do so. and give us another reason to play it again (as if we needed one)

i still don't see the casual market spending that amount to buy a console and 12switch. as much as they will think "ok that looks cool" its still going to be the gamers that get this thing off the ground.

I do think it will be worth getting a switch just for Zelda, the games price difference has made me think the difference between the two versions might be quite noticeable.

I have always appreciated this type of Japanese art style. I do understand people that have a problem with it, but I don’t see it as degrading. I think its super cool!

This is starting to show that the new big 3rd party AAAs are something switch will not have the power to run. That’s fine with me, I still love Nintendo games the best. However if Nintendo wants to grow their user base this fact is going to slow them down quite a bit. But then you have to weight that up against the price of a portable that did have that sort of power. I looked up gaming laptops in Australia and the price was around 3K for a good one.

mini game number 10; they send the team that made this game to your door so that you can slap them one by one (with a joy-con)

I would like the switch to be so successful that it can become their one system. I would like to get a more powerful switch every 2 years. All games would need to run on all switches, and the games would scale to get the most out of whichever switch you had. Can i get fries with that?

It's the games I'm excited about, but watching this reminds me that the hardware is really cool and unique.
