One of the stand out moments from the Nintendo Switch Presentation was the return of everyone's favourite Italian plumber. This has now been proved by taking the top spot among the recent uploads on Nintendo of America's YouTube channel, which is easily the most viewed and popular of Nintendo's official channels on the video platform.
Currently at around 11 millions views and rising, Super Mario Odyssey see's Mario leave the Mushroom Kingdom to go on an adventure with more 'freedom' for the first time since 2002; the extent of that freedom will no doubt become clearer as more is shown later in the year, expected at E3. Fans are certainly keen to see Mario return to the successful formula used in gaming greats such as Super Mario 64 and Super Mario Sunshine.
Next up in the reveal trailer stakes is The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, currently past seven million views. That said, both trailers have a long way to go before claiming the top Nintendo video prize - that's still held by the Switch Teaser trailer from last year, currently sitting at over 26 million views.
On the Japanese Nintendo channel, meanwhile, it's the Splatoon 2 trailer leading the way.
If you had to bet on which games will prove the biggest successes on Switch in 2017, these three titles would be right up there.
