At the weekend Nintendo revealed and outlined details for the Splatoon 2 Global Testfire Demo in North America and Japan. It's now been confirmed for Europe, too, with the times confirming that players will be tackling each other from across the Atlantic.
With the times matching up between regions that means that, whichever territory you're in, a couple of the one hour sessions will be at an unsociable hour - that's the nature of timezones. The EU times are below.
Friday 24th March
- 19:00 - 19:59 GMT / 20:00 - 20:59 CET
Saturday 25th March
- 03:00 - 03:59 GMT / 04:00 - 04:59 CET
- 11:00 - 11:59 GMT / 12:00 - 12:59 CET
- 19:00 - 19:59 GMT / 20:00 - 20:59 CET
Sunday 26th March
- 04:00 - 04:59 BST / 05:00 - 05:59 CET
- 12:00 - 12:59 BST / 13:00 - 13:59 CET
Are you planning to jump into the Global Testfire Demo for Splatoon 2?

oh yeah here we go
A few very awkward times in there. But it'll be the same for other regions in the time slots that suit Europe.
I think out of them all there's only two slots I can't do, but after the fun we had playing it yesterday, I'm gonna have to share the slots equally do I'll at least get one of them
Alright then, apart from the 03:00 and 04:00 time slots very accessible. I'll most definitely be joining in on the fun.
I did participate in the testfires for Splatoon on Wii U, but never pulled the trigger and bought the full game. On Switch, I'll be rectifying that mistake and get Splatoon 2 day one.
This will be exciting, but I'll have to talk my parents into letting me play the Switch after 20:00 on Friday.
Never played it, but still might give it a go. Not really sure how to play or what the goal is but hey, life is about learning new things.
Oh yeah!
Well, I certainly know how I'll be spending that weekend. Splatoon 2 should be interesting to play, especially exploring the different ways to play.
Well, these are some weird times for me but for a Splatoon 2 Testfire, I'll definitely be there.
Q) Are you planning to jump into the Global Testfire Demo for Splatoon 2?
A) I hope to jump into at least one of them, which even in the case of getting the job I'm currently applying for, should be likely.
With this comment, I'll be able to quickly get back to this article to remind myself of what the times are.
Damn...should I really retain my Switch pre-order just for this?
I mean, I was about to cancel it and wait until Splatoon 2 and ARMS are released... but the thought alone of being able to play the Global Testfire is very intriguing! I just can't wait to play Splatoon 2.
squidding it up for sure!
