Honestly, I was pretty impressed with this. For an indie dev that started in 2012 by himself with Flash games, he is coming pretty damn far. Loving all the collaborative work that is happening with the NintIndie Dev Family.
There are 4 other games that are cheaper that I can recommend over this, but I would give this one about a 5 or 6. Such a vast improvement. I enjoyed it. Abyss, Rush, Edge, and 99 Seconds (possibly also moves) are the same prices or less, and are really great, but this one IS worth checking out and supporting the dev.
Every game he makes, he makes a huge step up. Let's keep him going.
Dress to Play: Magic Bubbles is actually a pretty fun puzzle game that combines Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine, Wario's Woods, and a little bit of Tetris.
Honestly, I'm excited to see what they manage. I love RPG elements in voxel games. And those powerpacks? That looks like a hell of a lot of fun. I can only enjoy Minecraft with mods, so this is perfect.
I haven't played for a while, but I still know this game is pretty sick. I would love to see an HD version on WiiU, possibly with cross-platform multiplayer.
I am honestly enjoying it more than Sonic Lost World. Lost World was just... too familiar. This game feels more like a new Sonic Adventure. It is terrible, but I can't help but love it.
Keep in mind that they still have to pay for subscription service to play online. I would rather avoid $349 for an uncomfortable controller and a hulking VCR lookalike. Kinda needs to have plenty of good exclusives. All I want from it is Halo: MCC. Sunset Overdrive looks far slower and less over-the-top than the trailers. Nothing else that is ACTUALLY exclusive is of any interest, to me.
@Angelic_Lapras_King I would prefer a full Nintendo roster one, considering they said Smash was their starting point.
Could you imagine that? The sheer glory of having a bunch of Nintendo characters cooperating in a massive battlefield, like Subspace Emissary but 100x better.
Actually, NL, it is a soundtrack of some hard rock, some rap metal, some industrial hip-hop, some industrial metal, some industrial, some drum n bass, and some anthem/epic/arena trance.
But I guess specificity comes when you produce for 10 years, so no shame on you for that. I guess I am just particular as an aficionado of electronic music.
Considering only 7.7% of the proceeds from this campaign actually get donated to research, it is complete BS. Better to not use water and donate to charitywater.org, instead.

Re: Petit Computer Getting Programmed Out of the 3DS eShop on 31st January
Finally! Can't wait to start making games.
Re: Review: Lucadian Chronicles (Wii U eShop)
Seriously-- what is with the late arrival of these reviews?
Re: Review: Battleminer (3DS eShop)
Took you THIS LONG?
I have had this game since it came out. Very disappointing, but I still play a little.
Re: Rock 'N Racing Off Road Aims to Bring Mayhem to Wii U on 29th January
THIS is the kind of game I expected TNT Racers (or whatever) to be. Much better. I'll buy.
Re: Cube Life: Island Survival is Another Minecraft-Inspired Title Heading to the Wii U eShop
I'm willing to give these clones a shot. A lot of the time, I end up enjoying them to some degree.

Honestly, I was pretty impressed with this. For an indie dev that started in 2012 by himself with Flash games, he is coming pretty damn far. Loving all the collaborative work that is happening with the NintIndie Dev Family.
Can't wait to see more of what's in store.
Re: Poll: Nintendo's Year of Adventure on Wii U and 3DS Promises Hundreds of Immersive Gaming Hours
Xenoblade Chronicles X, Splatoon, Devil's Third, Zelda WiiU, Majora's Mask 3D,... This year is gonna be amazing.
Re: Video: Does Super Mario Galaxy 2 On Wii U Offer Anything New?
@Koz The game itself runs in 1080p, but it doesn't go into Wii mode, so the output remains 1080p.
It gives a mildly-noticeable pseudo-upscaling kinda effect.
Re: Video: Does Super Mario Galaxy 2 On Wii U Offer Anything New?
@sarethums It at least doesn't change the WiiU's output to 480p like Wii mode does.
Re: Video: Does Super Mario Galaxy 2 On Wii U Offer Anything New?
THE BEST PART is that, unlike Wii mode, which forced output to 480p, it keeps the 1080p output, while the game still plays in 480p.
Re: Review: Mes Comptines (3DS eShop)
That was one of the best puns I have ever seen. Is every editor here on NL a dad?

Re: Puzzle & Dragons: Super Mario Bros. Edition Credited With Boosting Nintendo's Share Value
It looks very fun. I had no idea this was a huge deal, though. Had never heard of it.
Re: Nintendo Download: 8th January (North America)
Honestly excited to play The Maze. TreeFall has made a major step up based on his dev commentaries.
Re: bAll or Nothing is Next From Nexis Games on Wii U
Marble Mania for WiiU? Count me in.
Re: Undead Storm Nightmare Will Bring The Zombie Apocalypse to 3DS
Good, because the DSiWare one had crap controls. I preferred Dracula Undead Awakening and Monster Shooter (which was actually pretty damn fine).
Re: Nintendo Download: 1st January (North America)
Dress to Play: Magic Bubbles is actually a pretty fun puzzle game that combines Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine, Wario's Woods, and a little bit of Tetris.
Re: The N64 Almost Got A Multiplayer-Focused Doom Sequel
Doom 64 was the very first game I ever played. This breaks my heart.
Re: Weirdness: Diddy Kong amiibo With a Horror Mouth and Dual Wielding Pit Join Defective Ranks
Diddy is officially a new breed of Platypus.
Re: Nintendo Download: 11th December (North America)
If you remotely like twin-stick shooters/ wave survival shooters, I HIGHLY recommend Monster Shooter. One of my top 15 eShop titles, definitely.
Re: UCraft Wii U Beta Plans Outlined as New Trailer Makes The Case for Upcoming Release
Honestly, I'm excited to see what they manage. I love RPG elements in voxel games. And those powerpacks? That looks like a hell of a lot of fun. I can only enjoy Minecraft with mods, so this is perfect.
Re: Talking Point: The Legend of Zelda on Wii U Steals The Show and Raises Expectations
@allav866 Mario Maker is just fine as a title.
Zelda, of course, does need one.
Re: Steel Diver: Sub Wars Version 4.0 Is Now Available
I haven't played for a while, but I still know this game is pretty sick. I would love to see an HD version on WiiU, possibly with cross-platform multiplayer.

Re: Splatoon's Japanese Twitter Account Inks Out a Few Details
Those shadows.
Muh shadows.
Re: Battleminer is Bringing Its Crafty Presence to 3DS in North America on 20th November
I tend to prefer MC clones to (at least) Vanilla MC. I'll give it a shot.

Re: Proun+ is Coming Soon to a 3DS Near You
SpeedX 3D Hyper Edition was great (eliminated the bulk of the framerate issues), but this one looks promising.
Re: Hazewalker Kickstarter Campaign Launches With $100,000 Goal
Mildly physics-based teleportation? Looks interesting.
Re: Super Smash Bros. for Wii U Announcement Revealing its "True Potential" is on the Way
This sounds like it will have a level of polish among the best in the gaming industry, ever.
Thank you, Sakurai. Your sacrifice will not be in vain.
Re: Hardware Review: The New Nintendo 3DS Is The Best Yet
Haven't upgraded since the original. This will be a nice change of pace.
Re: The Club Nintendo Rewards for October Have Been Confirmed
Kersploosh! not being randomized really kills it for me. I'll take SpeedX 3D Hyper Edition any day.
Re: You Can Now Download The Entire Banjo-Kazooie Soundtrack For Your Listening Pleasure
This...
This is glory.
Re: Guide: How to Unlock the Full Roster in Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS
Shulk and Samus are my best, this time.
In Brawl & Melee, it was definitely G&W, but... This time around, he seems harder to use.
Maybe it will be different on the WiiU version.
Re: Defense Dome Aiming for Super Scope Nostalgia on Wii U This Holiday
C'mon, Hullbreach.
Re: More Minecraft Mania Looks Set for Wii U With Stone Shire
now, if phr00t software ports 3079/3089 to the WiiU, I will be set.
Re: Nintendo 64x64: F-Zero X
Wait, random track generator? I don't recall that at all.
Re: Nexis Games is Developing U Craft, a Minecraft Clone, for the eShop
@Jazzer94 To be honest, I actually like the minimalist/'cartoon'/plastic packs in MC. Something about the aesthetic is very pleasing to me.
Re: Video: Aqua Moto Racing Utopia Footage Breaks Some Waves
Massively improved from the 3DS version, so that makes me happy. If it doesn't have online, though, I likely will pass.
Re: Meme Run is Coming to Troll Your Wii U Very Soon
Well, I'd certainly prefer this to Spikey Walls.
Could be kinda funny.
SWAG.

Re: Review: Tappingo 2 (3DS eShop)
The 'zoom' feature was sorely missing in the first, but I still loved it. Can't wait to play.
Re: Preview: Fantasy Life is Waiting to Become Part of Yours
Aside from Sm4sh and MH4U, this is the only 3DS game really on my radar.
Re: Review: The Fall (Wii U eShop)
I have been enjoying it quite a lot, despite getting thoroughly lost.
And what gives? You guys have really been slowing down with your reviews.
Re: The Keep Begins Its 3DS eShop Quest on 11th September
Day one buy. I loving love First Person Dungeon Crawlers.
Please watch the profanity — TBD
Re: Reggie Fils-Aime and Co. Take On The ALS Ice Bucket Challenge
