Rare's N64 classic Banjo-Kazooie is one of the best 3D platformers you're likely to find on any console, and its soundtrack was also pretty swell to boot. You can now download every piece of music contained in the game — that's 164 different tracks — over at composer Grant Kirkhope's Bandcamp page.
It's not free — Kirkthope is asking you to "pay what you want" for the music — but it's well worth investing in if you're a fan of the game. This really is every single piece of music, including incidental tracks which accompanied the opening of doors and so on.

This game had a wonderful soundtrack. It's one of those OST:s where you can just say, "oh, that's Grant Kirkhope style music."
Dem feels.
"It's not free" - it can be free though
Honor system way of pay? Wish it would go well but know most are just gonna download it got free.
Context Sensitive Music, Hoorah! HHHHNNNNNGGHHHH Guh-HUH
Sadly, unlike many Bandcamp albums, it truly is not free; the minimum asking price is $7 USD.
I'll probably pick this up when I get paid next.
Don't forget about these tunes too!

This is great for those who can't get enough of that wonderful honeycomb extension jingle.
Hey, I didn't know I could get the Donkey Kong 64 soundtrack! Oh well, it's great in-game but I'm not sure it can stand alone as buying material.
Definitely paid more than the minimum. These tracks could easily fit on a soundtrack collection that could go for $25-$30 if not more.
I saw the picture of Banjo-Kazooie and then saw the words "You can now download" and I got very excited. Now disappointed.
@claypool I thought the the same thing...
Pretty cool. However, the Blake Robinson Orchestra did a fantastic job with last year's release.
If I write "0" in the price box I get a Download button, @Strife89.
I downloaded it for free partially to see if it would let me, and it did. So yeah, you definitely can get it for free.
@claypool Beat me to it.
Wow, this is the real deal. Every single variation of each level theme is present, unlike the old school Pony Canyon releases back in the day.
@ModestFan93 And yet they will get much more money this way...
OMG... My favourite game soundtrack of all time... Always hum the levels in my head to pass time. Awesome.
Feels wrong not giving some money for the complete thing... so I happily paid. Think I might play through BK again.
This...
This is glory.
Yes! Thanks so much, Grant. Oh I also hope Robin Beanland releases his own soundtracks on Bandcamp too.
Yes, but the NSF rips have been available for much longer at Zophar's Domain and elsewhere.
Does it also come with a track of him telling Jontron he doesn't stand a chance?
Also where is my Backseat Gaming with Grant Kirkhope?!
Is this no longer being offered? I can't seem to find the soundtrack on his page anymore. If it was a limited time only thing, that should've been clarified.
@speedyboris I don't know what happened, but this album and many others by Grant Kirkhope are gone now.
