I also started Metal Gear Delta on PC. It's better than what I expected to be a simple graphical update.

Gonna give it a second chance with this version. I tried to like the original but the levels were too big and boring and I quit at the casino one.

Nintendo ultimately wins because of their games. Making a more expensive switch clone offering what you could already play on PS5 or PC is just pointless.

@Pillowpants it also comes down to demographics. Sony fans are generally not the type to care about handheld gaming as much, which was why the Vita was abandoned by Sony.

@Nintendo4Sonic I just play it in short bursts in the mornings before work. I think I'm past the halfway point so I'll see it through the end, but I don't think I'll replay it after beating it for a while.

@SirLink ehh I think people really underestimate the gaming skills of children past the age of 4. I had no problem beating the DKC trilogy as well as DK64 as a kid, in fact I used to like harder games back then because they lasted longer.

Kids today also play stuff like Fortnite or Call Of Duty, and I think multiplayer games have a higher skill ceiling than single player platformers.

@Nintendo4Sonic Yeah I feel like it has the same problem I had with Odyssey. Too easy and too much quantity over quality in terms of the collectables.

I also feel the same about the lack of a DK feeling, it feels more like DK inside of another game.

I wasn't feeling the demo, I felt like it had too much of a souls like influence compared to the simplicity of the originals. I'd also rather play as Ryu instead of some poser with bad 80s hair.

@Fiergala Metroid has mostly ever had one word subtitles, which I think works better for marketing. Better than if it were Rise Of The Dawn Of The Metroid.

The word Beyond I imagine means something to do with space travel or the scale of whatever awaits Samus.

They want to keep it PG, simple as that.

It's simple, they don't care because there is more money In Street Fighter, Resident Evil, and Monster Hunter.

Capcom has just become a boring AAA company playing it safe when they were once very experimental and exploding with all kinds of games.

Even if it doesn't necessarily surpass it, I still think it will probably do almost as good which is still a success.

Just bought it the other day. I'm pretty early since I only did the first dungeon and just entered the snow area, but I like it so far. I always liked Simon's Quest the best of the NES trilogy since I think Castlevania works better as an adventure game, and despite it's flaws, it proved to be an excellent foundation to work off of.

Favorite ones would be Sonic 3 & Knuckles, Mania, and Heroes.

Doubt it's that far off, mainline Mario usually comes out no later than within the first two years of a consoles lifespan.
