dear lord pikmin 1 and 2 for 3ds would be the greatest thing that ever happened. much better than that worthless release of them on wii. now as nice as wind waker HD was, it would have been super great to finally get it on a handheld like the 3ds. oh well, perhaps in another generation or two it will finally happen.

I wish companies cared anything about scalpers compared to pirates. who cares about roms when you have people scooping up ALL of the pre-orders and selling them on ebay of all lousy things and making tons of money doing it. at which point special edition anything is only available at highway robbery prices via ebay jerks. at which point, what's the point of spec ed anything.
and yea, the totally random announcement and release of ltd ed pre-orders makes it impossible to get to it quickly enough.
and a one order per customer limit hurts no one but scalpers. who incidentally, dont care about the merchandise or memorabilia at all and only want the profit.
it would be nice if people who actually want the items could get them.

very nice, although actually getting any kind of preorder anything these days in NA is so entirely impossible as to not even be worth considering an actual possibility or be worth trying. ugh. its a sad state of affairs i tell ya.

well its officially impossible to get any kind of special edition anything. youre always too late when you get to the store, you get lucky and still dont get it on release day, gamestop employees are scalping everything for them selves and flogging it on ebay, and nintendo pulls stock and cancels preorders. not to mention that NA usually gets the least and crappiest of the bonus offers these days anyway. ugh. i give up.

who cares about anybody playing roms of games from the last generation or even earlier? i mean seriously, who is that really hurting? nintendo is just lashing out like a jealous child and it will accomplish ultimately nothing since anyone who uses roms will just find another way or another console. sadly that may also mean that they shelve the 3DS for good too, so way to go nintendo, alienate your installed fanbase, great idea.
the whole war on piracy is pointless, its just bothersome at best and utterly ineffective. nintendo is losing basically no money except what they waste on trying to do the impossible.

fyi, they are unique codes that can only be used once

when you get to te ORDER NOW page and it subsequently crashes or boots you out of club nintendo altogether, dont sweat. just keep trying, it doesnt mess up your ability to ORDER the item. ie you dont have to wait and hope that an email with your code actually shows up.

sadly gamestop does suck, many of the people who work there are either ignorant to the world of video games, or just plain jerks. the state of bonus items for pre-orders, and pre-orders in general is a total sham. personally i am convinced that it's the gamestop employees who are sucking up all the limited edition stuff and flogging it on ebay before anyone at all gets a crack at it. with limited supply these days on that kind of thing, you basically have to work at gamestop to get anything special from nintendo at all.

as for this game, i havent been interested in the least, but i would try the demo if i could get it. but i dont plan on going to great lengths through some crazy gimmick to get the code for it....

oh yea, i gots da codes. one thing i do always have luck with is beta access to everything, haha!

loved the remake of ocarina and look forward to finally playing majora. was hoping they would revamp it and make it worth playing.

definitely a quality entry in the zelda series. i enjoyed it and have never had anything but good things to say about it.

the real shame is that people who really want the item end up having to pay black market prices to get it from people who are just flogging for profit. but on the other hand, if you really really want it and either missed the opportunity or have no other option, but have the cash to spare, you can get it in the end...

loved both of the bayonetta games and thrilled that the wii u version contained the first one so that i had the chance to play it.
super annoyed that other countries always get the good stuff though, we didnt even get the angel book case in NA.

my brother said this game was really really short.

this game was announced not that long ago and is already coming out? cool, but what happened to treasurenauts? this game kinda came out of nowhere and blew right past it. TN was announced ages ago... did it get cancelled or replaced by this or something?
don't get me wrong though, this game looks decent and ill be happy to check it out next week.

"episode 1" feels like a level or two, it is incredibly short. I don't see how it could be a whole first game.

was well aware of this back in the day and was always mad that i never got one.

it would most likely benefit them in the long run, getting more consoles out there right now is still the priority and everybody loves a price cut. but hopefully the amiibo line of toys will be the thing which drives the family demographic to finally cash in. but that will either work or not, still, a price cut could make it more enticing for parents this holiday season.

reserved mine ages ago so i had no problems. im sure its lack of supply if theres a problem for anyone because ever since the 3DS was released i have noticed that nintendo system games are not well stocked like the old days, especially at release. so i always reserve even if i am only casually interested. because otherwise it could be ages before there are more physical copies available these days.

uh, can you not download eshop games to an external drive just like retail games via the eshop? i mean the whole external drive thing is a pain, but at least its a way to make it all work....or you could have just bought the 32gb model to begin with, where did you think you would put downloads with only like 4g of available space?

do wish that we were getting the angel box version, but oh well, cant wait to play the first game since my xbox died long before i ever had the chance.

well i thought that it was already a done deal that NA was getting a 2-disc physical copy of the game. but at any rate, that's exactly what i want since my internet sucks and i dont wanna buy yet ANOTHER ext HD just to download a couple wii u games.

whatev, in the original nes game you turn into a ball long before you get the varia suit, and it has nothing to do with balling up in any metroid game as far as i know. you either start with the ability or you get it straight away.

in fact its the kind of game that people would actually buy a wii u just to play. the MH franchise is huge and there's no risk in releasing MH products ever.

in fact they probably are releasing the 3DS version first because it will net them maximum $$ that way since everyone who has the game or passed on it will also get the console version when it comes out. whereas if they announce it now, a large portion of people might just wait.

they are just claiming that there will only be a 3DS version since it will be released first and they want it to sell well. it will, and then after it runs its course, they will almost certainly decide to port it to Wii U anyway in order to milk some more money for the franchise. there's no way it's not win-win for them to do so, no matter what they are saying right now. you'll see, it's just a marketing ploy.
so have faith and be patient. odds are we'll get both versions in the end.

excellent game and one of the better ports at the time, the ps1 port was atrocious. the xbox and ps2 ports later on, titled dark legacy instead of legends were decent though. however, as far as home console versions, this was the one to have when gauntlet legends hit the scene.
great game, good times.

despite crappy controls sometimes (most times?), this game was actually really fun if given a chance and a rare gem in the very very sparse n64 library. also, the theme song is great and very catchy.

what? you can't even order this from the store? you seriously have to go there to buy it in person? well good luck to the 5 people who actually live anywhere near one of these stores. closest one to me is like 5-7 hrs away. screw that.

also the multiple versions of the game is an intriguing thing, it was available for SNES, Sega Saturn and then Playstation 1 (which included video cutscenes of the bosses and such and was awesome).

wow, although what is said in the article isn't untrue, X3 is by far my favorite of the original 4 games in the series (since after that they are unplayably bland and horrible and entirely lifeless). honestly i would have given alot more credit to the game for what it does right. its another fun MMX romp with some great tunes and if you played it back when it was new, the randomness was never a problem, it was par for the course most of the time.

love the 3DS, if theres a newer and better version out there, i will buy it.... this will be my 4th 3DS system, lol.

regular cosmo black 3DS (traded in), XL blue (given to brother), XL Zelda Gold Edition (will keep or give to brother), and probably then the new metallic blue XL+ (for me!)
