Is anyone planning to buy Guitar Hero Live? I see no hype for that game given its expensive price point.

Nintendo knows when Black Friday is, right? They're releasing 2 games AFTER the big shopping day: Xenoblade X and Devils Third.

Nintendo also quietly gave up on making a new console for emerging markets, so this doesn't surprise me. I hope they release some sort of new hardware next year (NX?).

Where is Transformers Devastation for Wii U?

I still want Nintendo Directs. I hope there's a presentation the first week of September.

The amiibo costumes are only in 8-bit form right? I don't like the original Mario Bros graphics very much.

Yeah. It's a unique stage, but I avoid playing there. I can't see any of my opponents and get splatted from above all the time. It's snipers' paradise too because they can see the entire map.

Awesome! Now I can check the stage schedule. I can't stand Moray Towers anymore.

The first main Final Fantasy game on a Nintendo console since FF6 in 1994? This seems a little too good to be true...

I wish Fire Emblem If would sell better, but I think that sales in the West will be stronger.

Lol. It's just my opinion. I mostly don't like K Rool's figure proportions. He has stubby little legs compared to his torso. King Dedede has huge feet with no legs and Bowser has a huge turtle shell. It works better for those characters.

I'm kind of glad about this. K. Rool is a fat ass.

Wii U sales are still behind PS Vita, right?...

I wish they would scrap those "Project" games. Guard was clearly inspired by Star Fox because of the matching robots. Giant Robot gameplay seems shallow.

Cool. I was pointing it out to show evidence against a possible Nintendo Direct. It's a release not a meeting, so maybe something is up. I agree, Splatoon has been doing great!

Yeah. I love Nintendo, but the wait has wiped out any hype I had. I guess I never realized how long game development is. It was sad to watch Iwata again.

Hopefully that's the case. Perhaps Nintendo's upcoming smartphone game will have Miiverse integration because a standalone Miiverse app might not get attention.
Looking back on that Nintendo Direct makes me disappointed: Yoshi's Woolly World, SMTxFE, Zelda Wii U, and Xenoblade X.

Where is our Miiverse smartphone app?!?! That January 2013 Nintendo Direct was a bunch of empty promises. Half of those games are still unreleased.

I'd like to see community posts be more organized, so I think this update will be nice. Many good posts get buried under nonsense posts.

I think that Chargers are OP in Splat Zones here. Camping one zone while sniping on the other.

I don't think many people will care about backwards compatibility, but the NX should at least support Smash, Kart, and Splatoon. The Wii U library is small.

This news shouldn't be a surprise. Nintendo doesn't try to compete with Sony and Microsoft. If the NX can run android, then there are sure to be many potential developers for the system.

I'm glad that the multiplayer option is there, but I mostly play alone. I think multiplayer works better on handhelds than consoles.

I think this device is QOL not NX. Iwata's presentation in October 2014 shows a 2016 release.

We know nothing about Wii U in 2016 besides Zelda. What should I be thinking? More virtual console and HD remasters?

Quality of Life should release in the first half of 2016. I have no idea when they plan on revealing it...

I just want to see Nintendo's next handheld system. It should be powerful and have the entire virtual console at launch. I definitely think that Nintendo is dropping Wii U support, so I hope that they're working on something big in the meantime.

There is still a single player mode. The multiplayer footage might bring in a new audience.

Nintendo releases amiibos simultaneously with games. It looks weird releasing only two toys in the middle of July. They'll probably move the release dates to September.

Why are Dark Pit and Palutena releasing in July? Is there a game we don't know about?

I'm not a fan of 2D puzzle platforming games, so basically 90% of eShop games don't appeal to me. I will admit that I have bought many VC games though.

I think the holiday lineup is solid, but most of us probably had high expectations. I get bored watching more trailers of Xenoblade X, Mario Maker, and Yoshis Woolly World. I just hope that the NX launch is extremely strong.

Metroid is not a system seller. Nintendo is trying to make the series appeal to a wider audience. I can understand that. I think the game looks fun.

Wth. Even Zelda Triforce Heroes has online multiplayer. Given that Bayonetta 2 has this feature, I think there is little excuse.

Europe gets Yoshi in June and Devils Third in August. North America gets nothing until September...
