Now I think about it, why don’t they give us the setting to charge the console through the joycons. Currently the joy cons are charged by the system. The joycons are 500MAh both. That would be another 10000.

That could pro long gaming sessions.

Imo on this gen of hardware nothing should be below 40 fps anymore. However, for games like cyberpunk I get it. But even that has a 40fps mode

I think the game is all right. But honestly, there’s so many things in this game that make me think oh actually they could have made they say nine instead of a 6.5.

It’s just very repeating and not very memorable. I find free roam very disappointing.

@Lizuka what about turning off HDR? I will try it now. According to ChatGPT, it could turn 2h into 2.5-3h. That would be an increase of 25 to 50%. Then I wouldn’t care about HDR at all. I just want normal battery life. Three hours to me is the bare minimum.
It’s also that the charging is so terribly slow that you can just pick it up later because you have to wait every time. When you charge it during playing, it won’t charge quick enough, so it will still empty itself faster than it charges. And when charging it using a power bank rather than the giant bracket has come with, it takes forever. Like five hours. It’s insane. I saw on welcome tour that the battery is really small…

Maybe a solution could be a special case with additional battery. And then you just Play portable by juicing the pro controller. Now the screen is bigger. I think that might be my new way to play. Handheld with the joycons - even the new ones - is, again, A bit uncomfortable because of the joystick being right below the buttons and you accidentally press it, which always happens to me

The game is quite fun, but honestly absolutely not worth $80. In handheld a drain system under two hours in my personal experience, which is just tremendous…

So far, I really enjoyed the system, but I was shocked by it’s horrendous battery life. Not even two hours. They must absolutely fix this.
I hope a future system update can at least improve battery by 50%. Honestly, anything under three hours is very poor.

Also, the battery takes forever to charge. On a power bank it takes like five hours. Only using the original charger it takes a little over three.

As amazing as this game is… The better life is just extremely poor which is honestly worrisome. And it’s game key card :/

@Glasso The PS4 PRO has 4.2 Terraflops. The Switch 2 has 5c+ AI upscaling tech. So it’s at least at the same level of performance as the PS4 PRO. The PS5 got 10 Terraflops, so it will too great of a difference to compare those I think.

@N00BiSH I read that the Switch (1) has 0.5 Terraflops. The Steamdeck 1.2 and the Switch 2 has 5. That’s honestly amazing. The PS4 Pro has 4.2 I believe. So the Switch 2 version should run really well

I wish I could get this game. But since it’s a 60gb+ download, after 3 games my Switch will be full. And there’s only 256gb express cards as well. What a ridiculous situation. I’m confused that nobody else is talking about this issue much.

In The Netherlands the suggested price is €89,99 ($102USD Equivalent). It’s just way too expensive. I’m sure it will be loads of fun. It’s just a scammy practice and I lose some respect for Nintendo for it.

What I don’t understand is where to even find most of the physical games, like cyberpunk 2077. It will be released physically in 7 weeks. Where is it i can’t find the product in any store. Neither Hitman or any other games besides the few we keep seeing…

@Peirceroyal I played this game a huge lot on my Nintendo DS (Which accepted Gameboy Advanced games). I loved it so much.
When they announced this, I didn’t realize it was the same game. Once I found out I was so happy.

Good they’re selling it for €50 and not €60.
And also, great to see it has lots of new content!

I want a “Mario Kart adventures”, with levels / missions. Just like on DS.

@Paulo Or the next system may be a SNW (Super Nintendo Switch) which can play all Switch games but upscaled or something like that. Which is why they still release so much for Switch. Its not exclusive
