Re: Rumour: Nintendo Direct To Be Rescheduled For Thursday 13th September

@iLikeUrAttitude I know hehe
China and HongKong have different laws
The switch is available in HongKong.
You dont pay taxes in HongKong. I saw the switch costing only €225 there. Everything is cheaper there.

I have been in Shanghai and there are some stores selling nintendo games. Mostly DS and Wii. Most is PS3/Xbox 360. But in Beijing I was able to find Switch games and even the Switch itself. I would say that store was about 10% cheaper than the average prices in The Netherlands.

These are ultra high hopes, but anyone may hope, right?

  • Animal Crossing (33% chance to happen imo)
  • GTA V (99% not gonna happen)
  • New Super Mario Bros Switch (There have been multiple rumors about this. I’d say 65% chance to happen)
  • New Wario Land Game (25% chance to happen)
  • Some Mario Party News (90% chance to happen)
  • Switch online service (50% to happen cuz theyre refering to just games)
  • Mario Kart 8 Deluxe [free?] DLC or updates (50% chance to happen)

Re: Talking Point: Do We Still Need Review Scores?

mr12calvin

Scores are like a resume of the article.
If I see a specific score that doesnt have to mean the score is for me. A review is an opinion. Where did the idea to abandone scores come from? To me it’s kinda stupid.

Why does the game world keep changing?
I think it is good the way it is.
It is like Apple getting rid of the headphone jack on the Ipad X.
Like forget that this Ipad I got is my last one. Aint gonna support that bs!

Re: Mario, Metroid And Star Fox Feature In The Latest European My Nintendo Rewards

Whats thw matter with people and the golden coins system?
Ye could easily spend it on discounts when purchasing a game in the switch eshop. Buy a 60 euro game, get 3 euro credit. Its not much, but I love getting a discount on other games. If I buy 3-4 full games I can buy a nice title like steamworld dig for free. They are giving us free games while they dont have to. I quite like thag system.

Even My Nintendo is a joke.

Re: Nintendo Still Has More To Share On Switch Online Before Launch

mr12calvin

@Link86 Hehe
Imagine you play games and you get golden coins from playing the games and you could spend these coins to buy games. That would cost Nintendo so much money. It sounds like a good idea to me haha I would play games more fanatically and buy more games. It is like playing for money. It sounds cool to me haha

Re: Mario + Rabbids DK DLC Is Almost Half The Length Of Main Game, Series Could Continue

mr12calvin

@NewAdvent Yeah haha
I saw that in The American Eshop. I purchased it there and am now playing it with my European account. I actually paid 60usd (like 52 euro) for what otherwise costs 92 euro hehe A nice price cut if you ask me!

A grest tip I have, is to buy games in the Japanese Eshop. You will be saving 10-35% on your purchases! Just be sure the game supports English. You can scan the language section with your phone using Google Translate haha its so useful! You might find it cheaper there. Just check out all 3 eshops now and then.

Re: Talking Point: Nintendo's E3 2018 Went Big On Smash Bros. But Left Us Wanting More

mr12calvin

What did we get this year?

  • Super Mario Party coming out in 5 months.
  • 25 minutes of an already announced game
  • Two out of 6 rumors turned out to be true
  • Yoshi and Fire Emblem postponed by at least 8 months.

Nice... No other choice but to be pessimistic about it.
But hopefully in 2-3 months there will be another direct showing off.
And usually we keep getting Eshop games without them actuslly being announced. And the games that were announced the previous Nintendo Direct are still on the way
