@SLIGEACH_EIRE It does. Nintendo is making money on each Switch sold. Yes, it won't sell more games, but, for people like me, that likes to play on its 3DS and PC, could be interesting.
@ThanosReXXX How do you know is lying around? Many games have been lost due to negligence and seeing as not important. Remember the Mario World snaffu, where Nintendo used a wild world ROM instead of their own ROM? Same with several Kirby ROMs that were on a satellite-based console.
@GameOtaku I know. I had a really hard time getting a New Nintendo 3DS for my girlfriend's daughter. Had to buy the Animal Crossing one, used, at 200 bucks.
Nintendo is blowing it hard by not having 2DS, 3DS, 3DS XLs enough to meet demand. As you can see from my pic, I have a ton of them (42 to be precise) and still it is very hard to find the plain red one at a decent price anywhere.
@GameOtaku Ah yes. Nintendo blew it wide open with the New Nintendo 3DS on the States and Europe: only special editions that disappear as soon as they hit the market, only to reappear at 50-70% increase in price.
Also, here in NA, is almost impossible to buy a New Nintendo 3DS XL online. Sometimes Target has some, sometimes Toys 'r us.
@Jessica286 That's true. Still, something is a miss.
I still want some AAA games to come for the Switch since I don't really want to play on my PS4 (or PS3, for that matter). Still, I think games like Skyrim, the blue-soldier-shooter game and Xenoblade Chronicles 2 could make me finally buy a Switch.
@Grawlog Yes, many of the AAA titles are not coming to the Switch, and I'm OK with that. More than ever I feel the Switch is gonna be more mainstream than the Wii U, reaching Wii-like levels (75-85%).
Still, many more games could come to the Switch but Nintendo needs to be doing a little more of courting (said that right?) to developers like Rockstar and others so at least we don't have to buy another console (I can't stand either the PS4 controller nor the Xbox one) for many games.
@ninkza Well, he is no lying per se on the interview (talking about future things tend to do that), but instead of saying: "Ok, we are late to the party, but we really want to make amends and transform the Switch in the most engrossing console for eSports", he states that Nintendo has always been on the front of eSports since 1995.
If that is not lying, (or at least twisting the true) I don't know what it is.
@NinjaWaddleDee Yes indeed. We wanted a true Metroid game. here it is. If Nintendo delivers we should buy this game, in spite of been on the 3DS last span.
@sp_initiate-001 Nope, they won't think twice. PS4 is the biggest selling console at the moment. Developers could make games exclusively to the platform and still make lots of money. I think that current PS4 user base for last generation is around 65%, if I'm not mistaken.
@maruse It is not a matter of a percentage (33% or 50%). Is the fact that a cart seems to cost anything between 7 and 12 bucks, IMHO (I guess that if it costs 12, the developer could absorb the 2 bucks difference).
Also, remember the issue with the 3DS carts at the beginning of the console's life: some titles cost 10 bucks more (because they required more expensive carts) and developers came out and said so.
@NEStalgia It can be. Today, a Vita 16GB card costs 40 bucks, which I guess is the same size used for Switch games. Even with scale economics, a Switch cart could be 7, 8 or even 12 bucks right now, when there is not much demand (still).
People are fast to forget the cost of some releases on the 3DS that had a 10 bucks markup due to cart costs (I think Revelations and some of rpgs suffered the increase).
@maruse It is not unheard for new media. I remember when Blue Ray discs came along: 25 bucks for a single disc. Was the same with the Vita: like a 100 bucks for 64GB cart.
@JubilifeRival I think that he was trying to state that, graphically speaking, there is not much difference between the WIi U and the Switch (which, so far is right on the money, as there is not much difference between MK8D and MK8, for example).
I do feel that even up to now, the Switch is a bit lackluster. It is selling like hotcakes, so why haven't everyone jumped in to develop for? That really worries me.
@Hikingguy Exactly. It looked like the bell was made out of clay, not bronze or metal.
It looks very generic. Also, the attack with the umbrella (that shots like a stream of blood), was awful. Didn't know whether it was blood, a ray beam or excrement to be honest.
@PtM Beat me to it. The title is just sooo misleading, specially when you considered that previous videos showcasing the others fighters have been entirely focusing on them.
@MetaRyan I think that they just want to take a pun to those Master Games coming out as lately. Since it is a pixel-based game it seems like a step down in graphics from today's standards, thus the "demastered" moniker.
Ninjara and Twintelle were the most used?! Butt I wanted Twintelle to win!! Assk anyone: most used Twintelle back(side)-to-back! Definitely, she was not at the bottom!
@Eric258 Well, I don't have a Switch neither, but I've been following this game a lot. I thought it could be the one to tip the scales, but, even though I love the design, and the characters and the whole idea behind it, I feel that the game is just too slow for my taste.
Compared to every other fighting game out there, it has a much higher level of strategy, but is not frantic enough for me. Still, I'll give it a whirl when it comes to the kiosk of my local shop.
@TreonsRealm Thought the same. Sony doesn't want to lose the place of the PS4 as a great Japanese RPG (Im still surprised that I see Kingdom Hearts coming to teh Sony's console routinely and not to Nintendo's home consoles). Maybe they are working a way around it but if that's the case, we should wait 6 extra months for the Switch version.

Re: Video: Let's See What Star Fox 2 Might Offer on the Super NES Classic Edition
No is not. Nintendo could have lost even the completed version and just used a prior version, we'll never know.

Re: Mario Paint Lovers Rejoice, Hyperkin Is Making A New SNES Mouse
@NEStalgia Exactly. I can't play FPS on any modern console, except the WIi and WIi U because of that. PC gaming all the way!
Re: Nintendo Announces Super NES Classic Edition
@SLIGEACH_EIRE The cords are 5 ft long. Still too short!!
Re: Video: Digital Foundry Gives Its Assessment of the New Nintendo 2DS XL
@Filth_Element Don't know... Just kidding!
I like to collect stuff. Still, I'm selling part of my collection. Just gonna keep the Mario-related 3DSes and the Pokemon related ones.
Got a couple of "rare" ones like the Toad and Princess Peach released in Japan and EU.

Re: Video: Digital Foundry Gives Its Assessment of the New Nintendo 2DS XL
@GameOtaku Well, there is the normal sized 2DS.
Re: Video: Digital Foundry Gives Its Assessment of the New Nintendo 2DS XL
What about the stylus? The stylus on the New Nintendo 3DS and 3DS XL are so underwhelming short that I immediately tossed them for telescopic ones.
Re: Dragon Ball FighterZ Could Come To Switch If The Demand Is There, Says Producer
@YANDMAN Easy: surveys, surveys, surveys.
Also, gauge interest thru previous 3DS franchise games.

Still, some of the fire splashing looks off.

Not buying a Konami game in the foreseeable future, unless they apologize!

@rjejr Excatly. That's a wrap folks!
Re: Switch Owners Won't Be Able To Play Minecraft Or Rocket League Against PS4 Owners, And Here's Why
@ThanosReXXX Nintendo has done it for years, yet you didn't hate them. Sony does it like for 3 minutes, bam, New Evil on the rise!!
Re: Switch Owners Won't Be Able To Play Minecraft Or Rocket League Against PS4 Owners, And Here's Why

Re: Switch Owners Won't Be Able To Play Minecraft Or Rocket League Against PS4 Owners, And Here's Why
It is just a matter of Microsoft pushing the "Play Anywhere" mantra: since Sony didn't come up with it, it's not embraced by them.
Re: Nintendo of America Launches E3 2017 eShop Discounts
HAHHAHAHA!
Some of the discounts state "manually" instead of "normally"! The Autocorrection strikes again!
(But yea, so underwhelming discounts. Have most of the games, except Dragon Ball Fusion, which Amazon sells for 25).
Re: Ubisoft Confirms New IP, Starlink: Battle for Atlas, on Nintendo Switch

Re: Minecraft's Cross-Platform Update Is Coming To Nintendo Switch This August
@Spoony_Tech Second that. While it seems at first a bit cryptic, the underlying message is not something to let it pass. I reported it right away.

@OGGamer And a very good example indeed. Nintendo fans love Dragon Ball Z!

Re: Review: ARMS (Switch)
@gatorboi352 It can also be played on a 2-against-2 scenario.
Re: Review: ARMS (Switch)
I was sure that this was meant to be the best new game for the Switch. Is the only new game that really caught my interest, so there is that.
I already bought a pro controller and the Zelda carrying case and a stand for when I come around and buy a Switch (maybe sooner than later).
Re: Sony Thinks You'll Buy A PlayStation 4 Alongside Your Nintendo Switch
@Menchi187 Yes. the title of the report is quite misleading. People will first buy a PS4 and then a Switch, for gaming on the go.
