Launch Day Switch has some fan noise (Yeah I've opened it, but stopped taking it further apart after I removed the heatsink due to the level of disassembly required.. at least it got some new thermal paste), that's pretty much it.. joy-cons drift I have had but i haven't had any drift after I fixed both with a MacGyver solution.

The OG switch lives in its dock now (the fan noise is minimal in upright position) and I have a OLED that follows me around

Guess this means I'll be having a weekend at my brother when this comes out, nice

Judging by Turok and Shadowman, I'd much rather keep playing Eternal Darkness on Dolphin.. don't get me wrong, I love ED (it's my favourite game) but a remaster would require too much work on all new textures, effects and everything else that a remake would take about the same time and be a much better result.

I do understand the sentiment that it would be for those who haven't played, but you need to understand that I don't care about them...

I really really want Ninty and Valve to get all buddy-buddy... Valve games on Ninty systems and then Ninty can release VR-only games on Steam (or VR-versions of already released games).

And either turn up the music volume most places or do what they did in Pokémon and give us some ancient tech earbuds (or just make some volume sliders in the options menu).

Oh Yeah, almost forgot.. enemies.. not just different colours, but different enemies.. and not that lazy approach were an increase in tier/difficulty just means that they do more damage and requires more hits (emptying your inventory to kill a single foe).

I was so hyped by Squadrons (as hyped as I get, so more looking forward to it than what others define as hyped), but that game isn't worth paying for.. wishy washy controls was what ended up being the thing I just couldn't live with..

Rogue Squadron was and is much better games, how can they fail so bad that a N64 and a GameCube game are leagues better than a modern game with a budget many times bigger than both those games combined.. man I miss Factor 5, the closest current game that scratches that itch is Project Wingman (and that game is more Ace Combat (but better IMO) than Rogue Squadron)

Ninty could never afford MLP, but a small mom & pop company like Disney? I could totally see that.

Lots of flight sticks have used hall sensors, what we called joysticks back in the day, so yeah they work fine.

So far I've fixed 6 joy-cons with drift and they're all still working.. 6 months and counting for the first pair.
Took them apart, placed a spacer under the analog sticks and drift go bye bye

Yes, Mario can use the poltergust, just recieved the package and, even though it took some persuasion, I got petmission from my kid to test it

I'm waiting on the poltergust pack to arrive, my kid has always preferred Luigi (or Uligi as he for some reason insists on calling him..), I've loved Luigis Mansion since the first outing so I would probably have ordered it anyway

Hopefully Dread, but seeing as my pre-order, once again, wasn't in the shop at launch, I might play angry dude demanding a refund (the neighbor shop has both in stock).

I was planning on waiting, but possible chip shortage and the fact that my launch day switch is shared between my kids and me, which means I mainly get to play late at night or with them (not to mention the newly occured fan noises) means that I slowly convinced myself during September to pre-order a white one.

If that doesn't put a smile or a giggle on your face, then try to imagine it a little harder and remember to include Stallone in a Yoshi costume, that's just green clothes and a painted foam cup for a nose.

Charlie Day as Luigi and bonus Fred Armisen is enough reason for me to watch it..

Though after seeing the cast, I'm now disappointed that it's not live action..

Beneath a Steel Sky was a great game, plus that and sam & max hit the road, day of the tentacle and the first Monkey Island games was how I learned english before all my classmates (Sam & Max was hard, like really hard, when your english comprehension is equal to that of a hamster.. Still not an easy game when you do know english)

UnMetal is gonna be a day one for me, but I also really liked the old metal gear games..

Shovelware, wether they're asset flips or not, aren't welcome, but if a game is good then I don't care if the assets are free, bought, or made from scratch by the dev.

It's like taking a poster, with millions of identical copies, and writing 'VERY SPECIAL' on the back of it.. While keeping the hand drawn concept art or piece for yourself..

My SNES collection is >96% CIB and about half is near mint with some that most definitely is in mint condition. I can't remember the exact number of SNES games I have, but it's around 150 (none of them is second hand).
Maybe I'll sell it for a couple million euros in 20 years time 😁

My N64 collection is far smaller and lots of loose carts, most of them second hand. My Gamecube and Wii collection is very small, since I sold most of them and only kept the best ones.

I always make sure there are no manuals nearby when I'm frying child fingers, always have, so no child finger grease smell on mine.

I could see myself buying the Kyogre, seems like it could do well for pike fishing..

Is the local co-op couch co-op or wifi co-op?

I'm tempted to pick this up, but only if we can play 3 players on one or two Switches (preferably one).

Impressive how fast I went from 'awesome!' to 'meh'.

I really don't care for a multi-only Evil Dead game.. Co-op? Sure, single player? Yup? But this here sounds like what should've been a multiplayer 'mode' and not the main game..

And I'm a massive Evil Dead and Bruce Campbell fan, I still have all three movies on vhs.. as they're meant to be watched (though I don't dare to play them out of fear that they'll get eaten by the machine or the tape will snap)
