It's fair to say that we are looking forward to playing the wacky-looking Fight Crab when it lands on the Switch eShop in September. Publisher and developer Mastiff and partner Calappa Games look like they have a winner on their hands with this 3D crustacean-based scrapper.
A new Japanese trailer has been revealed, which you can check out above, and... it's quite interesting to say the least!
Allow us to refresh your memory about what this crab-based brawler entails with some key features from the PR blurb:
- Claw through 7 Tutorial stages and a Campaign Mode with 34 stages spread out across 7 chapters
- 23 types of playable crab, 48 different weapons, and 11 unique battle arenas
- A variety of matchmaking options including 1 vs. 1, 2 vs. 2, and both offline and online co-op and versus battle modes
- Unlock special Skills like the fabled Kanihameha, the devastating Crab Copter, and more
- Level up your crab, recruit new crabs, and purchase deadly new weapons – build the ultimate crab warrior
- Use the Nintendo Switch Joy-Con™ motion controls to freely manipulate limbs to punch, grab, and flip your way to victory
- Use Photo Mode to capture, share, and immortalize epic confrontations and intense battles

Kind of expected of a novelty game like this, might still be worth a laugh.
It looks wonderful 😍
Well that fishermen now has crabophobia
Wonder what Nintendo will give us? That is a hit title come FALL..
@Ghostchip
You mean kabourophobia.
“Level up your crab, recruit new crabs, and purchase deadly new weapons – build the ultimate crab warrior”
Who comes up with this crab? And why does it always end up amazing? The people behind these games are geniuses.
totally bonkers but i want it
Every time I see anything about this game it always sparks up my appetite for some Red Lobster.
It definitely looks amusing, but I see imprecise controls. And there always seems to be a limit to how long that entertains people. I am open to being wrong. Not expecting to buy at this point.
Had me excited for a second, I thought this was a port of the really fun “King of Crabs” mobile game, maybe at a later date !!!
@RustedHero order up

Crab Rave Intensifies
Why break a good tradition?
So since this is about Crab Fight I'd better post this fightsty crab again:
But can you attack its weak point for massive damage? (/s, this looks like a trainwreck and I want it all the same)
It looks like a hilarious b movie. This is the best trailer I've seen all summer. Lol
I absolutely love this. This is on my wishlist for sure!
Already got the Japanese physical release pre-ordered!!
@RupeeClock doesn't have the same right to it (by the way nice mario snivy)
Is it based in real historical ancient crab fights from Japan?
Will download this, cause nintendo won't give me anything else
I've been following this game since it's announcement for the switch and I'm so thrilled that it's almost here!
