Hell, I was even burned way back in the 80’s when I bought a ROB and it ended up utilizing 2 whole games. I still have it.

I’m not buying any more “unconventional” controllers. I appreciate the out-of-the-box thinking, but no thanks.

The only “unconventional” controllers I absolutely love? DK Bongos. Bring back my Bongos, Nintendo!

Edit to add that these peripherals just aren’t my thing. I think they are almost always half-baked and leave a sour taste in my mouth. If you like them, great. More power to ya.

All I want is Metal Gear Solid 1-4 on Switch so I can experience them portably. Banjo-Kazooie and Tooie HD would also be acceptable.

I’d also sell a kidney for a new Diddy Kong Racing, if we aren’t getting MK9 anytime soon.

I hope they bring the special items back for MK9 as well. I’m really wanting MK9 soon.

Everyone should give Ni No Kuni a shot.

Looks like a fun game to buy, play for a week, and resell on eBay. Can’t wait.

I work all weekend, but if I have time I’ll be playing Metal Gear Solid 3 again for the first time in 10 years.

I’m tired of waiting for Metal Gear Solid on Switch, so I ordered the Legacy Collection for PS3. I’ve missed these games. Snake Eater is one of my favorite games ever (I LOVE the ending of the story) and that microwave tunnel in Guns of the Patriots... love these games.

My joycon started drifting pretty badly so it looks like the Switch is currently out of order.

I really wish they’d bring back the atomic colors. I long for GBC/N64 era color choices. If an N64 Mini ever happens, I hope they include atomic color choices (unlikely).

Kung-Fu Heroes looks like it'd be fun for about 5 seconds. I'm glad they're at least adding some obscure(ish) titles.

I like how there are 4 of them and it's clearly just 2 models copy and pasted. 2 sets of identical twins!

SO happy they are continuing the Regionals... and for a non-Gen 1 Pokémon too... and a new evolution to make said Pokémon somewhat relevant competitively... and it’s based on KISS! Galarian Weezing is also my favorite new Pokémon design so far. Can’t wait to see Sirfetched (Farfetched with a monocle + cane).

Elite Beat Agents and the Ouendan games are top for me.
The Phoenix Wright series comes in not far behind.

I LOVE Elite Beat Agents. It’s criminal we never got a sequel (yes, I’ve played the Ouendan games too). Rhythm Heaven is amazing as well - can’t wait for this.

Now give me Banjo-Kazooie and Banjo-Tooie HD, Microsoft! I’m dying to play them again! Please take my money. Also anxious to play A Hat in Time. I love 3D platformers (and for some reason Mario Odyssey just didn’t do it for me).

For anyone on the fence about this game - get it. It’s great arcade-racer fun and gorgeous too.

These are the types of things I hope DON’T get patched out. Ok, maybe they should but it’s still silly fun.

I could never imagine wasting my money on this - I don’t get the appeal of these anime games at all. They’re creepy.

I haven’t bought a single game all year except Yoshi (which I promptly sold). Tempted by Mario but... meh. I’ll get it used eventually.

The game looks like hot garbage. I've never been so disappointed to be a Pokemon fan.

I LOVE this game along with both Ouendan games (which I STUPIDLY sold). I wish they’d make a new one, but it would work much better on 3DS, so not happening.

Not a deal breaker, but still a bit silly. This is why my Switch doesn’t leave my house.

All my hype was killed by the National Dex news and AC delay, but at least Luigi’s Mansion looks pretty good and Zelda: LA looks awesome. Banjo in Smash was fantastic and stole the show for me. I’m just disappointed the actual games aren’t coming (yet). I’m glad we got at least two nice “wow” moments with Banjo and BotW2.

Also, too many anime games. The first half of the direct was a snooze.

I have countless fond memories of Banjo-Kazooie/Tooie and I’m pretty desperate to play them again without buying an Xbox or hunting down the original carts/N64. I’m happy the character is in Smash, but I want the actual games. I feel like they would sell really well on Switch as a dual-pack physical cart.

@Nekonokatzen I guess it is case-by-case based on demand and functionality. Nobody is clamoring for my wii zapper complete with Link's Crossbow Training.

A lesson I learned years ago with Nintendo: don’t waste money on overpriced peripherals that are typically dropped after one game.

Loved everything except the Legends and the giant Pokémon mechanic. Just give us more Megas. Also hoping for regional forms to make a return or at least some new pre/evolutions for older Pokémon that need them. I miss baby Pokémon. Happy to see it’s somewhat open-world in parts.

This actually sounds kind of fun from what limited info is available.

My weekend will consist of working my photo booth business, working on my Etsy businesses, gardening, aquarium maintenance, crafting, wallowing in loneliness and despair, catching up on sleep, and maybe a little Pokémon Alpha Sapphire thrown in.
