@Fiskern i am old school and old lol i started playing dragon warrior games when they first came out on the nes in the 1980's i enjoy grindfest..

the price of switch 2 games is already to high.

who is this game for specifically.. is it for those who never played the original game and dont have the patience for a long grindfest of a game that probably is it for purists like me this game is a abomination.. i will not buy it...

@Moroboshi876 obviously switch 1 will have only 30 fps muddier visuals and longer load times along with frame rate issues the price you pay for a physical version..

@larryisaman square-enix released that upgrade patch for dragon quest 3 hd-2d because their was no switch 2 version now they say choose what games works for you..

@Quarth only if you want a physical game the switch 2 version is the better choice..

i'm kinda on the fence with this game because they cut stuff in the original ps1 game which i still have.. i enjoyed the 100 plus hours challenge to finish the game..

square enix has made it clear it no longer intends to upgrade switch 1 games that are on switch 2. it it worth it just for a physical version of the game i am starting to wonder..

@The_Nintendo_Expat if you want to complete these games you have to play all three..

looking forward to see if switch 2 can handle rebirth and what compromises have been made..

since most dedicated nintendo switch users only have one console the switch i do find these numbers very low.. this is not the case where people played it on the ps4 when it came out..

these are bad numbers for remake on switch 2. i expected a lot more sales..i said it before the final fantasy series has lot a lot of it's swagger..

because of the power of switch 2 they will get more third party ports then they ever did in the past. so switch2 will be known more for that from now on..

@Dee123 baseball is huge in many caribbean and latin american countries not just only the us and japan look how many baseball players are from that part of the world..

@WhiteTrashGuy square-enix must believe that the sales of these later final fantasy games will get a huge boost putting them on the switch 2. i am skeptical i'm more in the final fantasy series is losing it's appeal..

will also be interesting how rebirth will be remade for switch 2 from the ground up.

@WhiteTrashGuy first time the remake is available for switch owners only..and many nintendo gamers only have one console.

i am more interested in how many copies this game sells on switch 2 if it under performs that may signal that the final fantasy series is not as desired as it once was..

switch 2 is being discounted in japan to $350 us dollars.way under market value..

from this list i guess switch 2 still will not get every third party game that been on ps..

forget about baldur's gate 3 that is in hasbro hands.

maybe nintendo should raise the price of switch 2 in japan and keep it the same worldwide..

with so many games coming out i forgot about this one..

from a video i saw their are performance issues in this game the level of draw distance is pretty shocking as you move around the city you see stores and stands materialize shadows appear out of nowhere characters literally appear and disappear..

so i guess no physical switch 1 version of the game only a switch 2 game..
