it is about game prices and sony and xbox game prices will always get discounted for many bargains while first party nintendo games do not even years later..breath of the wild still selling at full price 8 years later is a joke..

nintendo been known to hold back games it has already finished there is no question they already have a windwaker t/p port ready to put out at any time..

you can get the ps5 digital console with astrobot bundle for $399 of you can get the ps5 physical bundle with astrobot for $449 ps5 is a real powerhouse.

and if i understand nintendo will charge you if you have a online membership even if you never use the chat?

when the pixel remasters first came out i paid $129 for them i wont pay 80 for the new mario kart because i do not think it is worth that price. unlike what i paid for the pixel remasters..

a hd remake of windwaker for switch 2 would sell multi millions for nintendo why would they not take advantage of that situation?

i also figure we get a oot remake as well..

they don't have to send it to china half of switch consoles or close to that number are made in china lol..

switch 2 price has nothing to do with tariffs as nintendo says..nintendo was starting at $449 regardless and i expected that.. better system more higher price.. it is first [arty games that are 10 dollars to expensive if you consider nintendo games wont have the high budgets that many ps5 games have had 3 or 4 games that cost over 200 million to make.. i will have to pick and choose which first party games i will purchase from now. on and rely mostly on third party games which will be cheaper..

they appeal to a different audience..

$449 was switch 2 price regardless of tariffs even without a oled screen...it makes me think there wont be any need for a oled screen since the new screen is very good..

@KoopaTheGamer elden ring was 45-50 gigs and the dlc is about 15 gigs so it may not have been possible to fit both on a 64 gig cart..

third party games will always look and run better on the ps5 or xbox x and will cost cheaper then the switch 2 version but it's your money...

i am pleasantly surprised nintendo did not up the price of the expansion pack with the inclusion of gamecube games..

@JohnnyMind unless the game is removed online meaning your key card game would be worthless for any resale value..

after reading some info i suppose it beats the alternative of a code in a box.. though i still prefer the game on the cart like what cyberpunk will be..many third party companies will use this as a way to save money i mean square enix seriously did not want to put a 11 gig bravely default on a switch cart..

i prefer physical 100% but it looks like so far many third party compabies will choose the digital route for switch 2 games which is upsetting..

nintendo choose to make mario kart a test at that high price because they know tens of millions will buy the game while donkey kong is 70 bucks..

i will buy switch 2 because i want better performance and i have a library of over 200 switch games.. still a bite to the wallet..

switch 1 was family friendly now youtubers are saying family is not the switch target audience..people are making excuses saying sony charges 70 dollars for first party games they do but that price will drop in months for most games while nintendo first party games rarely drop in price even years later..

the switch went to the most affordable console to the least affordable console oh the irony..

@Gatorclops base ps5 does not cost 700...

we have to see side by side comparisons of the switch 2 and ps5 versions to make a accurate judgement.

most of these third party games have already have been on the ps or xbox nothing new here..
