it wont be 60fps and wont be ps5 quality but since it is fully on the cart i will buy it...

nintendo has truly botched switch 2 in almost every way possible terrible pr... they cant even get there answers straight..

since i am mostly a rpg fan most of my games are third party games..so you k now why i am upset at key cards..

need to see video of the game that actually runs well before i believe..

never played the game but seen it played to death online so i have no interest seen everything about it..

in 5 years ps6 will be a few years into it's existence and many games on ps6 will be almost impossible ports for switch 2 so we will likely be back where we are in the last years of switch1 life cycle where switch 1 missed out on many third party ports...

@McMongoose well the options for third party companies are 1 gig cards and 64 gig cards which are expensive ..hopefully in the future more size options will be available or cards get cheaper to make.

it may be a key part for nintendo first party games but does not appear to be for third party games..

i would be happy if they port the first 3 games to switch 2 natively..no key card..

i will get it if it has a physical cart and not a key card..even if it was 80 bucks.. always physical here..

physical paradise a switch youtuber who always mention physical carts said his sources mentioned this story 10 days ago seems to be confirmed ..

why cant games be like 7th saga a fight every 2 seconds nothing wrong with that..i like a challenge..

every physical cart would probably cost 70 and perhaps 80 bucks for some games is that worth the price for having the entire game on the cart?

if it does happen this will go to court..

i don't mind buying used games for a cheaper price if i have to..

i applaud any third party company willing to put there game on the kart and not a key card..

yuji is 71 years old better hurry up and remake the game while there is still time..

make it plain and simple a hd-2d remake.. it will sell millions..

not buying any key card games...

third party support for switch 1 will continue for a few years at least so plenty of physical games i am looking forward to collecting...

xbox does not care about releasing physical games anymore.

i think gamefreak is either incapable or does not have the technical know-how to make a quality pokemon game

sony and xbox games are interchangeable that why it makes more sense for xbox games to come to sony..

nintendo only has 64 gig cart sizes for third party publishers while nintendo itself has other sizes for it's own carts it is nintendo forcing key cards on third party companies..

sell these games for 70 bucks and make it a physical cart i would buy it..

what about phantasy star would love a remastered collection!

one prominent nintendo youtuber from his sources says nintendo is only offering two file sizes for third party publishers for switch2 i size is 1gig and the other is 64 gigs no wonder most are going key card routes rather then use the expensive 64 gig carts..

@8bit-Man doe modern audiences it needs a remake.. 16 bit graphics just will not cut it in 2025..

Update [Fri 2nd May 2025, 8:15pm]: Eyewitness reports fresh out of Comicon Naples sent Chrono Trigger fans crazy just a few hours ago — but it sounds like the party's already been cancelled.

During a panel with Dragon Quest creator Yuji Horii, the veteran developer had apparently mentioned a Chrono Trigger remake, essentially leaking the project to the public.

However, upon review of freshly uncovered footage from the panel (as checked by Gematsu), it seems as though Horii didn't actually mention the supposed remake at all — it was something that one of the translators said as a kind of half-joke.

When the topic of a remake was brought up, the audience grew excited, and that was enough for some onlookers to go ahead and assume that Horii had let slip Square Enix's secret.

@hYdeks gta5 has sold over 210 million copies since it first came out in 2013.the market today is much larger then it was back then..

if it comes out for switch 2 it will be a game key card..

@Chlocean other contenders will be mario kart ghost of yotei this year will have no clear cut favorite for goty.

hopefully it comes to switch 1 so i will know it will be a physical cart..

if it ever came to switch 2 it will a severely compromised port..
