very disappointing there was a lot of talk about a nintendo direct in june and this is not the direct i was hoping for..

switch 2 will thrive on third party games from now on the days of first party games carrying nintendo may be a thing of the past...

interesting when the ps2 came out in 2000 in japan the population in japan in 2025 has actually decreased by 3 million..

eventually i will get the switch pro later this year..

i play docked because my eyes are not getting any younger..

currently 87 on metacritic it is not a contender for game of the year..

i expect to see a lot of smaller numbers going forward of switch 2 game sales of key cards if the same game is available and has a switch 1 version that can be patched for switch 2...

@mariomaster96 there are millions of switch 1 consoles in uk and not that many switch 2 consoles..same with ps5.

maybe i should not be to hasty with some key card games after all this version of the game was is to big to fit into a 64 gig switch 2 cart..but any game that is 64 gigs or less i would pay any price for it to be all on a cart..

wont buy since it is a key card a shame.

cant imagine game freak is making this game the graphics look good lol..

we have seen quite a few xbox games come to ps5 and are big sellers this business strategy by xbox to port games to the ps5 is paying off for the company.

i would have paid whatever price if this was a native port to the switch..

1 saw a side by side comparison with the ps5 version on youtube they look very similar except the main difference is the ps5 version runs at 60 fps..that makes a huge difference in gameplay..

everything was made for switch 2 to be enjoyed the most in docked mode from low battery life to a lcd screen..

switch 2 is meant to be enjoyed more docked more power better performance ...

it is the best that it can be on switch 2 which is not saying much locked st 30 and rather janky with animation errors..

@Ellie-Moo if they are third party games most will not likely ever get a patch.

i am one of the 10% not getting switch2 anytime soon until this key card mess is solved..

this is nintendo fault these key cards for only offering 2 file sized for carts 1 gig and 64 gigs and 64 gigs carts are expensive no wonder third party companies are going key card route..

@Kiz3000 if the server shut down or the game is delisted the key card will be worthless to sell or trade in...

t’s worth considering the performance on the original Switch hardware, which is what this review is based on. Because the game itself is quite snappy, with multiple loading screens, there were many opportunities to become frustrated with the amount of time I was staring at a black screen, but fortunately the loading is quite minimal. Action sequences against singular bosses or smaller groups of enemies yielded a fairly consistent frame rate, but larger groups and busier animation sequences did lead to noticeable slowdown and stuttering–noticeable but not a major detraction from my enjoyment. Object pop-in is a frequent occurrence, but worse than this would be the appearance of distant villagers and even enemies, whose pace would slow to a pixelated crawl until you walked closer to them. Fortunately, there were no crashes or bugs that I encountered in my 25-plus hours. All in all, I found the experience tolerable, but it did serve as another reminder of how sorely needed the Switch 2 is at this point in time. We’ll have Switch 2 focused performance impressions closer to the console launch.

did not square-enix cancel a bunch of unnamed games last year i wonder if we will ever know what games were on that rumored list..

my switch 1 is going nowhere at least i will get to buy physical third party games for it unlike most third party switch 2 games..

maybe xbox knows something us fans do not i mean xbox is porting games to the witch maybe this is nintendo way of returning the favor...i find it hard to imagine that all of a sudden xenoblades appears on a xbox listing... because it is a error..

have not picked it up from what i seen it does not run well on switch 1 compared to the ps5 version.

these will be games i will pick up ..

i intend to keep my switch1console around until it stops working maybe 20 to 30 years from now i still have a old original ps2 i still play games on..and it works fine...

@Lizuka there are a lot more third party games then first party 99% of my collection are third party games they had plenty of time to fix these issues...

hundreds of games have issues with switch 2 compatibility how is this even possible a week before launch?

someone who played this game early hinted that the zenithia trilogy was mentioned in the game dragon quest 4-6.. could be the next series to be hd-2d remade..

i dunno that is quite expensive for paid dlc for this game with 2:59 you can buy yourself let me see maybe it is not to expensive afterall even a half gallon of milk cost 3:00 bucks lol..

getting switch 1 version for obvious reasons..

super robot wars should not be on any top 30 list even in japan..no ghost of yotei really i guess having a woman as lead character is not welcomed in japan..

clair obscur is the front runner for game of the year at the moment..

seems they made the combat much easier then before i am not for making games easier..

when reviews codes go out late it is generally because the game has performance issues.

i will be busy buying as many switch 1 physical games as i can since i wont be spending much on switch 2

even if this game was fully on a cart i have no interest in paying 80 dollars for it..

a lot of games i wont get because they are key cards..
