@Spider-Kev and many of us grew up with bulky colors tv and wont go back to them ever just because we grew up with slower frame rates does not mean they are acceptable for a fighting game.

30 fps on a fighting game is not good...

i have to clarify my remarks obvious dragon quest 1&2 for switch 2 are not physical versions so they do not count while dragon quest 3 hd-2d came out for switch 1 so they are physical versions.interesting a third of consumers bought the key card version that could be the reason numbers were down i wonder how many bought the digital non key card for switch 2.

@WiltonRoots dragon quest 1&2 hd-2d remake sold less then dragon quest 3 hd-2d remake by 400 thousand physical copies in it's first week in japan you may not like hearing the facts..

lots of companies are laying off people due to ai..

a shame 95% of these third party games will be key cards..

dragon quest 3 hd-2d sole 640 thousand it's first week in japan on the switch and 180 thousand on the ps5 for a total over 800 thousand so these numbers for dragon quest 2 hd-2d are much less then i expected..

young people are the future of video gaming so many did not even get to play these old games that is why remakes or remasters are so popular these days... i played both as i am not young and i would love to play any remakes or remasters of these classic games..

small publishers they might acquire i do not see nintendo buying any large game company..that not the nintendo way...

@RiasGremory i partly blame nintendo for the key card problem since nintendo only offers 2 size carts 1 gig and 64 gigs and the 64 gig cart is expensive if they all used the 64 gig cart all games would be 70 bucks do we want that?

i am still upset they cut parts of the game that was on the ps1..

@Wexter came out late jan 2022 we had a covid vaccine by november 2020...

the score of 8 was generous for the switch 2 version i have seen videos of a few people who have played the switch 2 version say the performance is terrible..

@Lizuka considering there was about 105 million switch 1 consoles sold by the time arceus was released in jan 2022 compared to the number combined of switch 1 and switch 2 as of today arceus sales numbers are much more impressive then legends z-a.

violet and scarlet combined sold 10 million in it's first week on switch 1.violet accounted for 52% of those sales scarlet 42% and the rest was a doublepack...

@ShadLink usually metacritic scores on right on target when a game is great it will get a high score if it is bad it will get a low score if it is in the middle it will get a middle score..a great game has to be past 85 on metacritic..

@Friendly when elden first came out on the the more powerful ps5 it had issues the fact it is being delayed on switch 2 tells you all you need to know..most third party switch 2 games have compromises to run well like 30 fps and reduced objects on screen..

@clianvXAi since elden ring been on every other console they want to tap the one console that did not get the game the switch and hope it sells well.

nothing is going to help the performance on switch 2 to where the issues wont be noticeable only so much they can do on switch 2 hardware..

obviously pokemon z-a was going to sell extremely well regardless of any complains in fact pokemon violet and scarlet sold over 4 million its first 3 days in japan and we know what kind of a bad state that game was in when released..

i played the ps1 game back in the day and it was the longest rpg game i ever have played.. it took me forever to finish it..i am not a fan of taking away parts of a game.

30fps seems to be a pattern for major third party switch 2 games..

12 million dollar budget gamefreak wants to put on a game on a limited budget so it can sell 20 million copies .. why tinker with success..

i wish the gaia trilogy was remastered or remade ..

a lot of people play nes games through emulation..

there is no reason this game should not get a high budget to make it stellar when game freak makes so much money selling pokemon games..

pokemon z-a down to 79 on metacritic now..

currently 80 on metacritic probably will fall down to 79 or 78..

it is a pc handheld not a console..

eurogamer gave it a 60 score some of the scores from other reviewers are way to high some gave it a 100 lol..

it would be nice if these old games were updated for switch 2..

i already got each game physically a few years ago...

i was surprised yotei beat the galaxy collection and by such a large number..

at least 20 games or more a buy a year..

@Segakid a ps5 version could be 60fps

it probably will be 30fps on switch 2..

collection only 88 on metacritic..

even though i have the mario 3d all stars collection i will spend the 70 bucks for sm2..

@Bobobiwan not only is it locked at 30 fps less objects on screen as well .

we will have to see how rebirth looks on switch 2 since that game was made for the ps5...

i don't like it when stuff is taking put of a game rather then expanded the original game.. and they took out a lot of stuff in this game..

@MatthewTaranto switch 1 has a physical version..it is up to gamers to decide which version works for them..

three scenario were eliminated in dragon quest 7 reimagined krage probina and litorud that is unfortunate..

very drab looking battles color wise.in fact the battles in octopath are more vibrant looking..

@nessisonett the nes games were the old games..
