Unfortunately, the open world comes at a hefty cost, and that debt is paid with performance problems on both base and PS5 Pro consoles.

The move to Unreal Engine 5 has not been kind to the frame rate. Stutters and frequent frame drops are unavoidable in both performance and resolution modes.

Everything runs fine in confined spaces, but that smoothness gradually degrades as effects start filling the screen, bigger fights ensue, or co-op partners join the fray. Whenever Borderlands 4 should be at its chaotic best, performance is at its worst.

@NorrinRadd it will still have issues been when finally released probably more issues then it has on more powerful platforms..

dragon 1 will be interesting and challenging knowing you have to fight multiple monsters with only i character to fight with..

i played the nes games back in the day so i am looking forward to the new additions that have been made in both games..

getting the switch 1 physical edition day one i am a collector even though i already have mario galaxy on the 3d all stars collection i want galaxy 2 physically..

@DaniPooo difference is dragon quest 3 hd-2d came out before the switch 2.. the other games came out after switch 2 arrived.. that is why square-enix says buy the version you want..

going to have to double dip get the physical switch 1 version as a collector and buy the key card version for switch 2 to play the game to take advantage of the better graphics and frame rate..

i still have my original ps1version of the game..

i will be very interested in how well these trilogy of games sell on switch 2 will nintendo only fans feel the love of final fantasy or has that love disappeared over time..

87 gigs for switch 2 is a lot larger then i though this game would be i thought it could have fit on a 64gig switch 2 cart apparently not..

so the third part of this series is coming out to every platform day 1 so sony will not have exclusivity for a time..

this game is also coming to switch 1 so if you want a physical copy you can get it..

is this reimagined of the game made easier? i hope not i enjoyed this game for the incredible length it took me forever to finish it on the ps1 back in the day.

i already have galaxy 1 on the 3d all stars collection. so i have to pay $70 dollars for galaxy 2 physical copy..

$70 dollars for a physical copy of the mario galaxy bundle is just nuts..

next 2 games will have serious cutbacks to play on switch 2..

normally a direct is held either tuesday-thursday but because of sept 11 being on thursday it looks like it was pushed back to friday..

clearly physical games are wanted a lot more then key cards as we saw with outlaws and cyberpunk..

@rallydefault it does make a huge difference traveling also graphics are better then switch 1 version..

@Maulbert they are remakes not remasters in full hd-2d glory 2 games for the price of one it's a bargain..

these games are fully on ps5 disk so it is all about the cost of switch 2 carts why these games are key cards..

it was a beautiful trailer and these games are more of a remake then dragon quest 3 hd-2d .

i will wait and hope square enix changes it's mind and patches the switch 1 version if not i might have to double dip and buy the physical switch 1 version since i am a collector and buy the key card version for switch 2 to play it at better performance..

a switch 2 game fully on cart is going to start usually at 70 bucks..

this game has been hyped and from the review what a disappointment.

no third party switch 2 game will ever be on parity with the ps5 ..

i seen more youtube videos of side by side comparisons to the ps5 version switch 2 is certainly playable but the 30 fps and graphics are obvious not good..
