In addition to the earlier official trailer uploaded to YouTube last week, Nintendo has revealed another video showcasing more The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD goodness - and this time with voiceover!
There's nothing new to scream about here, for the video regurgitates information that we already know about the game's features, though it's a nice change of tune for it all to be explained via the video's narrator. However, the new footage shown here is always a welcomed bonus, and the graphical improvement compared to the game's GameCube/Wii counterpart seems to be more and more noticeable with each new batch of game footage we're given.
Will you be picking Twilight Princess HD up in early March? If so, tell us whether it's due to the game's aesthetic overhaul and/or new features, or if it's purely an excuse to revisit this legendary title.

Yay!
I won't be able to get it on release day, but I'll be picking it up as soon as possible after that
This looks awesome, it is going to be an instant buy for me =)
"new features only possibly on the Wii U"
lists a bunch of stuff from the original game
So other than the new graphics, we get some stamps (lol?) and the Tower of Hera from Link Between Worlds, except this time you need an amiibo to access it. Hue.
I'm looking forward to this although I'm not really sure why. I didn't particularly love the original on Gamecube and quit before the end but it was the last new Zelda game I played and that was a long time ago. I never got round to playing Skyward Sword due to various reasons and have yet to pick up Wind Waker HD. If I'm being honest I'd probably prefer to play WWHD before this but it's a 'new' Wii U release and that's a rare thing nowadays.
Not double dipping. Have only played the Wii version for an hour or so. But now I will try it again.
@WaveBoy
Aww daaang, you should play them all! They are all amazing! TP is also a must play!
Picking it up when I revisit this game. Just not sure when that will be. It's too bad Nintendo doesn't take the VC a little more seriously. I'd be using the money to download VC games instead of buying a soldering station and upgrading my NES. I do enjoy the SNES VC though, they have done a good job with it minus a few games like Illusion of Gaia and updating Wii to Wii U SNES VC.
Currently playing through it in 4K with some very pretty texture packs, excited to give Tomoya's version a go as well though I doubt I'll want to play all the way through again by the time that's out. HD really helps showcase this game's beautiful atmosphere and there are a lot of cool things in general but as a whole it's simply a little flat.
No I won't be getting this early in any month.
I guess Nintendo is not aiming this at gamers who played the original. So I guess it will struggle to make large sales.
Enjoyed seeing the new scenes in this video. It's not a graphics overhaul, but the scenery does look much nicer than the original game(s). Can't wait to play through this again. And the much-maligned Wolf Link amiibo still looks frickin awesome.
That boss battle in the City in the Sky dungeon is going to be so epic...especially in HD now.
I absolutely can't wait to get this! TP is my favourite Zelda games of all time - getting to play it again after almost 10 years (and in HD) is going to be awesome.
Pity they couldn't have smoothed out some of those polygons. Will probably pick it up if I can find it discounted somewhere
My pants is abaout to explode!!!
wish hero mode wasn't mirrored. I'm looking forward to this, but I played on wii. Playing unmirrored will be somewhat newer to me. Looks like I'll have to borrow my friends Ganondorf amiibo.
@zool You assume everyone who thinks like you is the majority, when in acuality you're honestly the minority.
Most people buying this will probably not have either of the originals, and even then the added content is supposed to make this version the superior version. It's ok to not like the game, really. Like I'm not buying this, because I have the GC version, but I know I'm not the complete target for this.
@AceDefective most people? How could you possible know that ?
I can feel the hype running through my body
Certain characters, like Wolf Link, Zant and Midna look deliciously nice in HD, even though the actual character models haven't been updated.
@zool Out of the millions of people who own Wii Us, I doubt all or half as many them have actually played the original TP.
That's not even taking into account the amount of people who probably had either the Wii or GC versions at one point, got rid of it and want to play it again, or the double (or tipple) dippers who want the newer stuff or HD, or the self proclaimed casual gamers who just want to see what Zelda is about.
Gettin' it on Amazon.
Can't wait to play through this again! Twilight Princess is one of my favorite Zelda games. The only downside is that I went the cheap shipping route with my preorder, so it likely won't arrive until the week after release.
@AceDefective there are only twelve million Wii U's out there and only 1.6 million Windwaker HD were sold and many of them were given free by Nintendo. So the likelyhood of Zelda TP HD out selling Windwaker I would think is slim.
Nintendo are selling it at the same price as a new game, and I reckon that many gamers who have played the other versions won't fork out full price for graphic enhancements.
@zool Keep in mind that number of people who bought WWHD, how many of those people did you think actually owned the original version before buying the HD version? That is what I'm trying to get across, some people are buying this as a way to get into TP, so why not get the cleaner HD version with Hero Mode, gyroscope controls, and GamePad functionality? I understand not being sold on the product, but you shouldn't confuse your perspective as the main one. On a side note I don't know where you got the idea I was implying everyone who owned a Wii U was going to buy this game though....
I just can't justify the second purchase. It's $80 here in Canada!
@AceDefective my main gripe was that the gamers who have already played this game may not buy the Wii U version, not because they don't want to play it again in HD, but because Nintendo are ripping them off, somewhat.
Charging full price and adding extra content via Amiibos for an old game with enhanced graphics.
You are right in saying that someone who hasn't played the other versions will consider this a new game, but I think Nintendo will struggle to hit big sales unless the older games buys this.
Much preferred this one to Skyward Swords recycled bosses and linear progression. Tons of dungeons, awesome bosses, but way too easy. Hopefully hero mode fixes that issue.
3rd most wanted game of the year! (After Zelda U and FE Fates, obviously.)
My favorite Zelda game, not to mention one of my favorite games of all time.
I preordered this the day Gamestop started taking preorders.
@zool I guess I'll be in the minority, played the Wii version at launch, the Gamecube version a few years later and next month I'll happily enjoy this remaster.
@renaryuugufan92 You're definitely not alone in this one.
I'm starting to get more interested picking this one up. I played the Wii version several times and it's such a great story and I can imagine the graphics and added details will make this...almost...worth the price. I'm also quite curious about how it will work without the 'waggle'.
It'll be a bit of a toss up if I get this one right away or not. Hmmm....
What was multiple floor cave in the original release of TP called? The new cave might be fun but the big ruby bag will be pretty much useless unless other new things have been added.
Also is he wearing a new costume in some shots? I can't remember what the useless magic armor looked like.
