are we really sure there wont be a switch 2 version? this is the only thing keeping me from preordering. actually, it is also the fact that amazon etc dont allow preorders yet for some reason
Always sad to hear great studios close, especially if they are vital to a gaming segment. Even more so if they are European. The game looks super interesting
First time i played it was on PC with a Geforce 1060 at the release. The performance was maybe 30 frames Had a game breaking bug, jumped in a month later. But man was it great!!!
Second time i played was to test out my new pc. Bought the DLC and played it again. Awesome!! That game is a masterpiece and i am glad people get to enjoy it on Switch 2.
I started it and wow, the graphics are insane. I am in awe and just looking around. Unfortunately the game is ridiculously scary and i cant look for too long. So I at least cant binge this game. I had to switch it off after 45 mins but you can feel from the start it is great
@KaiserGX I agree with what you said. After the trailer i saw that the game might be simple and deep at the same time (something Nintendo excels at anyways), so i am suddenly interested!
I like that capcom is finding the right mix between evolving proven franchises and gaming patterns, as well as new IP with different visions of stories and gaming. innovation will eventually pay off
ok I made my comment before realizing that the whole discussion is about game key cards. Again, leading to nothing. Again derailing any worthwile discussion. But yeah, great talk...
I do not mind game key cards. My first game was Civilization I on a Microsoft DOS pc on a floppy disk. I care 0 about a physical version of this game. I wont ever play this on a MS Dos with a floppy disk ever again. I used to have a Nintendo 64 with Ocarina of Time. Dont have it anymore, dont miss it. If i would miss it, i could play it in Nintendo's library with more comfort. The people who will take out their old N64 and play are less than 1%. Most of you wont get out your switch 2 in 20 years and play on it. And of those people that do, you will do so maybe 1h every 6 months.
This discussion is completely overblown. And i am glad the numbers go to show it. You are the ones missing out, so be it. I'm having fun and so does half the world
Nintendo was at 14500 yen before the news of google's game AI. the current price is still relatively cheap given the momentum of the switch 2 as a whole. gaming studios as a whole went down in price afterwards. Goes for Capcom too, which is off to a good start of the year
I preordered and this review convinced me to keep the preorder. Given my insane backlog, i might only get to play it in a month or two anyways, so i hope for a patch Is there any history of patches either in this series or with the developer?
they didnt do themselves any favours with that video.I have never heard of the game, so i checked it out. I still have no idea what it is about, but it looked chaotic and had a spooky artstyle. Will avoid
Ps5 being outclassed by the nine year old Switch in its home country (again). But it regularly appears in the sales. I would actually be interested if people buy more games per console on Nintendo or Sony. That would be an interesting insight Nintendolife. I guess the Ps5 situation in Japan wont change anymore, but it will for sure in the west (Gta 6 effect)
I preordered through Amazon and got notified today (!) it will be delayed and has not yet been dispatched. Also my local electronics store doesnt have the game yet and expects it tomorrow. Could this be Iran related?
Still on the fence about Pragmata, will have to try the demo first and read reviews. But Capcom is making a lot of money with me anyways, given that i bought the resident evil generation pack and preordered Monster Hunter (and bought Street Fighter a while ago). Pokopia is a must. Tomodachi life i will buy out of curiosity.
I have yet to return from Korea and highly regret not taking my switch 2 for the flight. So no playing for me, except for World of Goo on my phone (via Netflix games)
This looks awesome! Looking forward to it. I enjoyed Z-A, but it was a little repetititve at times. Also i dont like mega evolutions. Very hopeful for Wind and Waves
I have a good PC and opted for the Switch 2 version. The differences with other versions are negligible (except for FPS on my pc). In retrospect i see that i bought and pre-ordered a lot of Capcom games, which surprises me. It seems they make games i really like and I only realize that now
This is awesome! I was a little on the fence, now it is go-time. I guess with Monster Hunter Stories 3, Capcom will make some money with me Still have to wait if Pragmata will interest me. Also Pokemon Pokopia is pre-ordered. Here we go
Eventually I will get Firered. That is the game i had as a kid. But not now. My backlog is too big, there are too many games coming up. I have Pokemon Pokopia and Monster Hunter Stories 3 both preordered. I will eventually get Resident Evil. And i have a backlog that includes for instance Fire Emblem Three Houses, which I bought as a second hand physical edition. People complain about the switch 2. I am really happy!
To the 70$ crowd: I bought Mario tennis in Japan for 40 bucks. This does not seem to be an issue in Japan. I'd rather think the comment about Dragon Quest seems to be correct. The Mario game doesnt run away after all. It'll be interesting to see how the game will do during the movie.
I actually stocked up on some games in Japan, felt like going through a nice sale. So i am one of those 39,522
forgot about the dpad, fair point! i hear about drifting, but am glad i never had that with any console ever (n64, gamecube, wii, xbox360, ps4, switch 2). i'd send my controller back to nintendo
The Switch 2 Pro Controller is perfect! I understand if someone wants to spend less, but you kind of keep the controller for the whole 8 year life span
I absolutely loved the first movie!! My (ex) girlfriend came with me who has never played any video game in her life and she enjoyed it too. So i guess that says a lot, if both someone that grew up with nintendo and someone who has no connection at all enjoy it
I am in Japan currently and I found out how cheap games are here. So i bought it for 40 Eur (in yen of course). Feel like I made a great deal! Wont get to play it for 3 weeks though haha
how can you rate something that isnt out, where even testers have only played 90 mins? Your 7/10 ranking is ridiculous at best.

As for the article itself, I will get a lot of those games. Mario Tennis, Resident Evil (I played 7 on PC, so I am looking for 8&9), Pokopia and the Mario Wonders DLC! I am still busy playing Kingdom Come Deliverance II though (awesome game!) and have a big travel to another continent in front of me, so I'll get those games a little later anyways

I started Pokopia and it is wonderful!!
Also i play Mario Tennis Fever and found my personal hate opponent: Bowser with a Volcano rocket. I could scream
Furthermore I am finishing up Kingdom Come Deliverance II on PC. Masterpiece!
Last year I had a time when I felt there were no interesting games. Now i feel like there are plenty and more and more are coming up. I cant keep up
