Let's hope it's a good game. Generally historically FIFA sux compared to PES but maybe the portable form in the amazing Switch will finally make it shine and worth it.

@Tempestryke you can sell for any price you want. People buying it for that price are stupid or lazy or have enough money that they don't care about the waste.

@Hordak I don't think there's any way they'll ship to the U.S. for free. They'll probably cancel it. People should calm down... anyone who really want it will be able to get one sooner or later, I'm sure.

It really is unbelievable what an amazing success the Switch has been on all levels. Sales. Reception. Games. Excitement. Stoxk price. Nintendo itself probably couldn't have expected it. You just never know. Switch is a hit. An amazing piece of tech.

I don't care much for either EA or FIFA, both I feel are kinda sucky, but but but... if this is a quality game, I'd bite. I want as much as quality 3rd party on Switch as possible. And.. ME3:SE was bloody awesome. It really was.

This is really cool. I am so happy Switch is getting this game.. I hope the Switch and this sells well so we keep getting those 3rd party quality versions. The best on the Wii U was Arkham City, Mass Effect 3 and so on. Of course they used the great 2nd screen which no longer exists... but playing on the sleek portable, and with amiibo, it's good enough to make it special.

This really makes a lot of sense. Switch might not have the same WOW factor of the Wii, but it IS portable, and all indications in recent years showed that's where Nintendo's strength is really at.

Brilliant move by Nintendo. Why kill the 3DS/2DS family when there is so many people loving the machine and what it represents. It will be premature. As long as there is a market, they should continue with the DS line, and it's nice to see how people were sure that because they killed GBA at the time they have to kill the 3DS as well.

Anyway, it's nice to know I might have more uses for my New 3DS but my focus is on the Switch now indeed. You got that, you got Mobile, Nintendo is banking on all fronts and that's awesome.

Mostly expect good news. Nintendo Switch is a hit and it's a good time to invest in Nintendo, especially when they also have Mobile.

I already have a Switch but now I want to have an xbox or a ps to trade for a Switch just for the joy of it

Switch is selling amazingly. And it's fitting. Since it really is an amazing beast. The way everything turns on quickly and runs smoothly and switches between modes seamlessly. Wonderful technical marvel.

@BulbasaurusRex they might be worse I agree but no... "thereby resulting in a critical nightmare." Reviewers never understood or were excited enough about second screen. "Hardcore" gamers/reviewers always (stupidly) asked whether there is a Pro playing option or no buy... So no, unfortunate, but no. They can make any game with regular controls and they'll like it.

I'd say Bayonettas because that on the go us incredible and unprecedented...
(2) Paper Mario because this just flew under the radar and fits handhelds....
(3) Xenoblade Chronicles because of the sequel so it'll be on the same machine.

Super Mario Maker is an obvious one but people really flocked to the 3DS version at this point. Captain Toad will be great but will come off as an indie to many people. NSMB and DK pro ably a waste of time at this point as sequels are probably being developed one way or another. Smash will come too but again maybe it will be a sequel of some sort and can arrive later.

Switch is a beast.

We could have had so many great games but so many idiots are " gimmicks!! More pixels something p and woo trophies or something," missing the ingenuity of things like the Wii Remote (and the magnificent never properly imitated nunchuk) and the GamePad. Even the GC was amazing with the button placements and comfortable squishy triggers. The controller defines the game and Nintendo does it best.

Another source confirming that Switch is very close in terms of power to One and PS4. So many Nintendo haters wanted to believe desperately that it's extremely weak and close to the Wii U but it's clearly not. It's basically a portable PS4 for all intents and purposes.

@WiltonRoots yep, that is one of the highlights of this... great for 3DS and Mario Maker, but not mentioned for some reason. Glad the Switch is such a big hit.

@brandonbwii nothing to do with Whites, but Islam is a big issue, because as a principle, many adhering to the faith, radicals, believe in eventually enforcing Sharia Law instead of integration or acquiescence to the society. Lots of problems.

@ThePoochyKid are you freaking kidding? "Discounts" are always worthless because you can always get cheaper with old games or used, and there are discount sales anyway being done. Getting a free game, no added nothing, that is so much better. And physical rewards, really cool beautiful collectibles at your door... a dream now gone destroyed forever. And what do you even get coins for? Not like before, with many surveys and options. Here you hardly get them and they just expire all the time.

@Windy have no idea what you're talking about. I really want third parties on Nintendo machines (many of my favorite games on Wii U, Wii and GC were third parties) but I was never duped., or thought that I was under any such attempt.

@Windy we were never duped. It was always clear, from the moment there was a Playstation and N64 got less third party that this was it.. Nintendo focuses on first party. GC had many third parties until it didn't, but nobody was really shocked of that (being looked at as a more kiddie console etc). Wii was obvious from day one that it will have only those developers who would fit the control system properly, and it was obviously not HD.

Wii U there was big announcement but surely everybody knew that this all depended on whether the thing was popular or not... we knew it's a hard sale since it came before the "next gen" machines and people felt it was underpowered again.

And this time nobody raised any expectations. It's a Nintendo portable device, and I haven't heard Nintendo say it's ever going to be a third party machine. Any third party is clearly "bonus" and any person who had some experience with the Wii U and before knew this. Also clearly is the case with 3DS, where people overlook it no matter how much it sells. Everybody knows this, nobody is duped.

@cripesdude Switch can handle anything. That's its point, it's easy to port for. Whether it's a quality port or a mess depends in each case, but it's capable of playing all the newest obviously with some less specs in resolution/frames or whatever is needed.

@OzHuski agreed... I love all my amiibo, their game functionality is just a bonus. I mostly see them as classic figurines.

@cripesdude Mass Effect to me at least the ship has sailed... I guess it will be cool for those that never played Mass Effect 3:SE but that version was so amazing using the second touch screen that going back to one screen will be a huge disappointment, especially with titles I already played (ME3) or that I know what happened because of the in-game comics and encyclopedia. So Andromeda will be best here but that one has mediocre reviews.

Just thinking how cool it will be to have Monster Hunter on Switch... imagine it selling "billions" in Japan... and worldwide.

If they're good , it will be nice. It's sad that the great golden age of LucasArts and Sierra amazing adventure games that I grew up on have been reduced solely to this Telltale episodic company thing, but if it's good, I'll be in with my Switch (or PC if not).

One of South Park's best episodes too. The GC, Wii and DS all appeared prominently in South Park. They love Nintendo but Ubisoft is incompetent.

@DiscoGentleman last season with the trolls saga, and the whole PC crap, was awful. Don't think I laughed once. The show is deteriorating. The best days were original episodes and classics like WoW and the Wii episode etc.
