@Giygas_95 it is, but this game is special. I have it on 3DS, Wii U and Switch and surprisingly, I never regretted that.

@HobbitGamer Not accurate. The Citadel DLC may be great but it wasn't on the Trilogy release which is what I was talking about. Also, the Wii U edition included NON free DLC. From Ashes and several weapons and other stuff.

Most of my enjoyment of the game was because the Wii U controls TBH, it was so immersive. And that special gun with the coordinates when you get it, it blew my mind .

@link3710 I played just the ME3 and had a blast. The Wii U controller features were amazing. Really made the game for me.

Ok, that's awesome. Switch really delivers on the 3rd party front.

@KryptoniteKrunch it wasn't missing any content (3, compared to 3 in the trilogy). In fact, the ME Trilogy didn't have the ME3 DLC. Wii U ME 3:SE had most of the DLC included and had amazing Wii U features.

@Grumblevolcano I'd be happy with that actually.... Mass Effect Special Edition on the Wii U was a stunning piece of art and used the controller amazingly well, uniquely, one of my favorite game experiences of all time.

What do you mean "As you might imagine"? LOL. All the doom and gloom reports and now strong report and stock is increasing again. As expected by some, but not what some reports tried to hint.

This was a gem on Wiiware. Loved it then but couldn't get back to it on Wii U.

Best game for the Switch so far.. enjoying it more than any that came before.

I still have the Wii and the Wii U plugged because they are amazing. The one thing that bother me with them is the battery situation. The Wii U gamepad is rechargeable but the Wii remotes are a pain.

Yes you can use rechargeable batteries and chargers and I had them at the time but they tend to get lost and it's still a pain. Nothing beats the USB c that can charge both the Switch and the pro controller. And you can just leave the Switch in the dock too.

The gap between Switch as number 1 and PS4 as number 2 is huge. So cool to see and the games are pretty much all Switch too. So cool.

Arkham would have been sweet... the flawed third game that is. Arkham City on Wii U was an amazing amazing experience. Sadly it (the way the Wii U version was handled with the special controls) can never be replicated on any other platform.

I hate the term "point and click". It's moronic.
It's an Adventure Game. That's the genre. Does it live up to the greatest golden age of adventure games of LucasArts and Sierra? I doubt it. But I will give it a try.

@Dang69 still short sighted . Everyone knows how big Pokemon is. Last time the stock was literally saved because of Pokemon Go. Company still running on that surge. So yes, short sighted.

This seems short sighted.... They didn't even scratch the Pokemon thing yet on Switch. and then Smash and then Mario kart on mobile. I think it's a good time to jump into the stock and sell after the Christmas sales.

Labo was idiotic. Nintendo needs to focus on making mobile phone hits like Pokemon Go , that will be amazing for their share price etc. As for Switch, they need to cater to the fans with the main franchises like Zelda and Smash, and to allow as much as third party access as possible.. making it simple and fun for third parties to port their best games.

@LUIGITORNADO they are identical. It is literally the same controller. Should have been mentioned. Also, any GC controller would work of course.

I agree. The E3 presentation was downright awful.

Smash Bros should have its own separate direct for stuff like that. Yes, smash bros it and of itself is awesome, it's great. And granted, the Gamecube controller (how will it work though? another adapter?) and the amiibo are perfect, beautiful. Ridley trailer amazing [I do think they could have had a cool intro too with epic music again and they didn't]

This is brilliant. I knew but (who knew that) amiibo was going to be this longstanding and this worthwhile in the long run. Other day I was in one of the closing Toys R Us, they offered one of the disney infinity 3 kits with a bunch of toys inside for $2.00.Yes, $2.00. That's right. This includes the game, base and all. I assume this was $59.99 at the time. And yet amiibo is going this strong into... 2019 (!)

Can't wait to play this. I love these guys. The way they brought these amazing games to WiiWare... it was so brilliant. It really made fall back in love with games. There was that philosophical edge to it, and the perfect gameplay, control... it was such a good time. I actually found Runner 2 disappointing, somehow it just wasn't that WiiWare series anymore, where you kept expecting something new every time, every episode.... but this even though again Runner looks really promising . And on Switch.

@PALversusNTSC in the money sense. You pay $ 20 instead of $ 60. It's a third. It's a huge deal. Less of a ripoff. Period. That is all. It's also not 9.99 per month. It's 3.99. It's cheaper however you choose.
Also the reason you have youtube on kids' tablets is the reason you don't have it on Switch. It's a game console. Those stupid complaints about non gaming related activities is really getting tiresome.

Long term you get ripped off even though the initial price is a bit of "de minimis" argument to be made here. Generally, it's pretty stupid. I'm glad it's cheaper than the sony crap though.

There will only be more.. the market for amiibo is growing all the time and they can just keep innovating with it if they want. Also they just scratched the surface with third parties amiibos. The problem remains annoying stock problems and infuriating exclusivity deals like the one with Dark Souls.
