Telltale Games is one of the many developers that's been confirmed to be working on Switch games, and we already knew that it would be bringing Minecraft: Story Mode to the platform. Given the studio's relatively high output, it was more or less expected that there would be more games showing up at some point on Switch, and while nothing else has been officially announced, there's potentially been a leak indicating the next material the studio is working on for Switch.
A Russian retailer called Game Buy has recently posted a page indicating that Batman: The Telltale Series and Guardians of the Galaxy: The Telltale Series will be coming to the Switch. Both games are listed for a 30th June release date, but this is likely just a placeholder, assuming the games are coming to Switch at all. Obviously, this is far from confirmation that the games will come to Switch, but perhaps Telltale is gearing up for an announcement soon?
What do you think? Would you buy these on Switch? What do you think of Telltale games? Drop us a comment in the section below.

I'd be more excited for a new 'Snake Rattle N Roll'!
Meanwhile I'm still waiting for a second season of Strong Bad!
Variety of licenses are great and all but.........I need more Strong Bad in my life.
Batman I'm not too excited about, it's been everywhere already. The new Guardians of the Galaxy, especially if it is at the same time as the other consoles/PC, would be awesome and something I think I'd probably get behind.
I'd personally rather see them port over completed series "and physically" for the Switch right now. We already have a lot of downloadable games, and I personally haven't gotten Tales of Borderlands or Walking Dead season 2 yet - and would rather buy them both complete and physically.
The more Telltale games, the better
Id defiantly get 1 of these, don't make me pick between DC and Marvel this early in the day
I tried Game of Thrones Telltalle on the PS4 because I thought it looked like a Broken Sword type game.
It wasn't. Not interested in another QTE procedure.
Would def pick up this. I have yet to play it on my PS4 or XBOne and would prefer to be able to play these types of games on the go.

Loved the walking dead series and the Wolf among us was good aswell. Would like to try Game of Thrones and Borderland series aswell. Yep Batman would top it for me though
The whole Walking Dead series please.
I've only played the first one and loved it but would prefer to play it on the go.
I would personally liked to have heard that the Capcom Disney collection was coming to the Switch as that would have been a much better rumour to hear. Oh well.
Wasn't The Walking Dead being ported to the Wii U a few years ago. Then it went off the radar
@FragRed Really tho, they were originally NES games! I think it'll show up at some point, they'd be fools not to bring it over.
I would certainly go for the batman telltale game! Haven't played it yet, so this would be the perfect opportunity to pick it up if the rumour is true
Walking Dead series please
@Jaredfrogman hey man nice crocodile!
This has been available to preorder on www.365games.Co.UK for a while now...
@OzHuski : "We already have a lot of downloadable games"
> Wait, where are they ? I must have missed something on the Switch eShop man lol...
@ElGrego Okay I know I said "already" but let's be clear, it's not even two weeks old yet and we have more digital games than physical releases with plenty more digital coming not just this month, but next as well.
Between the 6 neo geo games, Blaster Master, Vorez, The farming sim, 2x Shovel Knights, Othello, Fast RMX (and I know I'm still missing a couple) - and we have even more digital games this month coming. Another King of Fighters has been announced, Has-Been Heroes and Binding of Isaac just off the top of my head and I'm sure there is more.
My point stands though (and I'll edit it to Be a bit more clear) we have a fair few digital releases (and plenty more coming). What we need is more physical releases now.
i'll take it. these telltale games are great for on the go. the problem is their engine tho'. none of them are visual masterpieces, yet for some reason they don't perform very well. nfi why.
@Jamotello
I never had a problem with mine on vita. Don't know about other iterations on other devices
@RyanSilberman You know Jeff maybe TellTale games should make a StrongBad video game. One of the segments could be a CRAZY CARTOON!!!
I could see TellTale Games working on the Switch. Hopefully there will be physical copies(if not too costly) and a wide variety to ensure all target audiences are hit.
I guess we will find out at some point.
@OzHuski
Let's face it Bro the switch will always have more digital eshop games than physical thx to indie games. After saying that many indie games will get limited run physical games like on the vita. Switch won't get loads of AAA 3rd party physical or digital releases,so yeah mate digital will always come out on top. I must say I hope I am wrong about AAA 3rd party support
Would definitely buy all these games!
@NintySnesMan that's a good sign. it means it isn't apparent. maybe they can make a metroid adventure game if they're motivated enough.
I tried the Walking Dead and Minecraft Story Mode. I would unfortunately find it very difficult to get excited about any of their 'games' in the future.
I'd much rather we were getting the Arkham games.
@Switch81tch
Lol never had a problem with mine Bro on psvita,they played very smoothly. Anyways mate why hate Sony they didn't make the game
Awesome! I'm not remotely interested in Minecraft, but I'll probably get those 2 titles Telltale does amazing games
Story driven games with strong narratives would work well on the Switch due to its portable nature.
I can only play visual novels in bed cos to me it's like reading a book and I need absolute comfort.
You can find every Telltale-game on pretty much everything now, so it wouldn't surprise me if they did port their games to the Switch. I would actually prefer the games on my Switch as an addition to the PC-versions, so this is an interesting rumour!
@NintySnesMan for now it's the sad truth.. And let's face it - with every retail release hitting the eShop as well that will never change. But we need more physical releases for those who aren't hardcore gamers and don't know about the eShop.
For me - it's also the sharing. The only thing I miss for my Xbone is the buy once and share with someone else (one of my kids). Buying physical I can share between the house (and buy multiples when it comes to games like Mario Kart) but buying just digital for me is no longer an option with a partner and kids who also game with me or want it play along side me.
Soon see though - we do have a lot of physical releases coming too they are just further down the horizon.
not excited TBH ..it was like 12$ or something on ps4 and xbox one ... i won't pay 50 or 60$ for this on the e shop
@bolt05 Thanks! It's a black caiman I caught in Peru, fun times!
@Switch81tch
I did mate but I don't see what your getting at
It would be cool but no doubt it'll be full of technical problems.
@Switch81tch
Oh I see,not good mate.. I have the OLED original version from day 1 and never had a problem,I have a slim but don't really bother with it.. Which version did u have.. You was unfortunate mate,it's crap when a device breaks down
I will be buying any decent Batman games that come to the Switch.
If they're good , it will be nice. It's sad that the great golden age of LucasArts and Sierra amazing adventure games that I grew up on have been reduced solely to this Telltale episodic company thing, but if it's good, I'll be in with my Switch (or PC if not).
Maybe we could get a Telltale series based on other DC heroes? Maybe a Superman, Flash, or Green Lantern game? Or if we have to have Batman yet again, why not do one based on the Justice League?
Maybe I'll get GotG, but I dunno.
I loathe Batman so I'll pass, but Guardians would be a nice romp.
Batman, no. Minecraft Story mode, played it many times prob played part 1 6 times and 2-5 played twice because i played on wii u. Parts 6-7 I never played because I had the eshop Minecraft Story Mode Episode One and those other ones never came as dlc, except they sold it as a whole new game with the older ones. But Guardians of the Galaxy, I think so because I loved that movie.
@Jaredfrogman ahh cayman, i had a feeling ot wasn't quite a croc. Nice work. You're an ecologist?
So long as all the episodes are actually on the cart and it doesnt require a free download for ep 2-5 etc...
@bolt05 I was in college, I have quite the collection of David Attenborough
Would be nice to have an all-in TWD series 'deluxe'.
And let me cry all over again for Lee.
so how would it work code in box or just one episode on the cart. (seem a waste) ideal soloution would be each episode to dl to the cart
