Surprisingly, I don’t think I ran into a single issue when playing this game. Still a shame that these issues existed in the first place though

@HeftyLaces people only playing popular multiplayer games has been a thing since the ps3/360 days. People just want an easy way to play with their friends and there’s nothing wrong with that. There will always be people who love gaming as a hobby like us and people who just want to have some fun online

@UltimateOtaku91 paying anyone to mod your console is a scam, sorry you fell into that. All that work could’ve been done in an hour or 2 and is extremely simple to set up. Also if something goes wrong in the future, you’ll have no idea how to fix it.

Oh no I can’t believe people would mod something, Nintendo is such a small indie dev that’s gonna lose so much money from this!!!!!! I seriously don’t get why most of the comment section is like this, modding doesn’t mean piracy. And even if it did, who the hell cares. This game has already sold so much and piracy doesn’t actually affect a games sales anyways since most people who pirate weren’t gonna buy the game in the first place. If buying a game doesn’t mean you can do what you wish with it, then piracy shouldn’t be considered stealing if a company doesn’t allow you to own something

@TheBigK I wouldn’t say there’s a bias against Nintendo since they never really have games that qualify for goty and if they do then all the other games just out class Nintendo so they just dominate the family games space

Mario pinball for the gba is one of the worst and most infuriating games I’ve ever played

Faithful remakes are lame. Either spend less effort on a remaster or put in everything for a full on remake

@Arawn93 pc is definitely the biggest platform for the game since it was the biggest for NASB 1 and it’s the biggest platform for almost every other good platform fighter. Still a shame the switch port sucks though

@timschel 30 fps is disgusting for a fighting game, the standard is 60 fps across almost any fg, no higher, no lower

Honestly great marketing strategy. It gets people like me who haven’t played in 5 years back into the game. Sure it’s probably lazy but I mean it works and everyone is happy

@FishyS i mean almost everyone buying the game knows that it’s a remake. A port/remaster/1:1 remake will always be a new experience for new players but that doesn’t make it something design with modern game design in mind. Mario rpg was a great game but it’s a product of it’s time, so it should be priced as such

@mereel from what it seems, definitely not if everyone is calling it extremely faithful. The original on the Wii U was $8 or something like that and all they’re really doing here is updating the visuals, combat, and it looks like there’s a tiny bit of post game content. $60 for an almost 30 year old game with some minor updates is pretty stupid but it’s Nintendo so it’s gonna sell extremely well regardless

The only reasonable guideline here is probably the one talking about how there shouldn’t be any tournaments supporting political topics and such. Almost everything else is complete bull***** and there’s no denying that. Yes they have the right to do that but it doesn’t mean it’s right. If you can find me any evidence how tournaments actively hurt Nintendos brand, be my guest. They’re hurting themselves by getting overwhelmingly negative press every time they make a decision like this. If you’re defending this, maybe you should wonder what inclines you to mindlessly defend a company that clearly hates their consumers such as yourself

@Princess_Lilly how is wonder a masterpiece? It’s new super Mario bros but they made it goofier. Nothing too special about it and still can’t outdo Mario world

@ChromaticDracula might wanna cancel mgs too cause so far it looks like it’s gonna be pretty bad on switch. 30 fps on 2 & 3 which were originally 60 with frame drops and really bad loading times

Depending on the size and power of this, I might pick it up cause this looks like a great form factor for my steam library and switch emulation. Maybe it could make a good portable Wii U too

@Pupuplatter mgs1 was never meant to run at 60 fps so you would have to change all the animations and stuff to make it run like that. 2 & 3 are unacceptable though

@RobynAlecksys buying a game early isn’t a crime, sure it’s illegal to upload and download it but no one would ever get arrested or fined for that. Even if someone stole a copy from a retailer, that’s just a misdemeanor

@Chibi_Manny yeah I want new project diva songs too but sega doesn’t care enough to do that. Project diva megamix+ on steam had a really good modding community though if you’re willing to rebuy the game. Maybe project sekai/colorful stage will have the songs though.

If there’s active matchmaking after 2 months, I’ll pick it up and by then it’ll probably be a lot cheaper. Obviously gotta get it on steam cause the switch version will be dead after a week

The entire direct was Mario and now we’re getting 3 Mario games that didn’t need to be remade and a port. Other than some previously announced splatoon dlc, detective pikachu, and “new” f-zero 99, there was no other big Nintendo franchises so I guess they’re all being saved for the switch 2. The 3rd party showing seemed pretty weak too

@farrgazer it’s really hard to hunt them down in the US so this is a much better alternative for me

The pc option is what really interests me since the nso app is pretty bad and still barely has any games.
