it may be that there sometimes are accessories or other non-software shown, but that's quite odd for them to explicitly point out if there's no reason for people to expect to see something else besides games (yea, what could THAT be?). Plus, I don't think they have written something like that before

@HamatoYoshi I know, right? Calling them monsties is the ONLY thing that I don't like about this game from what we've seen... Sounds like someone got a brainfart, and the first thing that came into his mind was teletubbies meets monster hunter

@WillQuan I agree. Apples strategy is normally to sell cheap made devices with the brand for luxury prices... With that logic, a switch level gaming device could easily cost over 1000$

Some people might buy it for the brand or the niche appeal, but I see a date like the one n-gage suffered ( does anyone even remember that one?)

Fan games would mostly be advantageous for SEGA since any attention to Sega would help them right now... Nintendo on the other hand is already really popular, and one mistake could damage their brand badly. They have to be careful with what they tolerate

Big companies can make stupid decisions, but that's a stretch. Then it's much more likely that it is a non-confirmation in order to not really reveal anything that could burn bridges but still get investors interested when you mention something that could raise the sales drastically

@Chris77 the game is much more merciful than the demo (Capcom tend to troll us in MH demos). I failed hard on intermediate but haven't fainted once for a couple of hours

Honestly, it disappoints me that such a good game will be looked down upon, not because it looks or plays bad but because it's not impressive enough on paper. I miss the old days where people were much more focused on the quality of the game because it wasn't as easy to look at the specs. Oh well, it doesn't affect the rest of us in the end

Did they expect him to give anything but a non-answer? No matter if he says yes or no to a Switch Pro, it can affect the sales numbers and the stocks negatively... people will either rage over a lack of a pro version or wait with buying a Switch untill the pro comes out (not a smart move in the christmas season)
