Re: Hands On: Hyrule Warriors: Age Of Calamity Makes You Wish You Didn't Know How It Ends

danemord

@theiRiS Don't think dso.... after all, they said in the first trailer that THIS is what happened in the original timeline since the voice over in the announcement trailer said "I think you're now ready, ready to hear what happened 100 years ago", which is a quote form the first game as well.
Would be quite weird if it was like "yea, we said that.... but it actually didn't..... or rather, it happened in an alternate universe"

My guess is that originally, everyone without exeption would have been utterly destroyed. The message though from our little egg friend gave them necessary preparation to prevent that. In the end, the champions died, Link was heavily wounded and Zelda trapped in a hundred years long battle, but at least now they had a chance to end the calamity once and for all

Re: Hitman 3 Is Coming To Switch, Just Don't Try To Play This One Offline

@TheFrenchiestFry you complained about the portability, I said that it works fine portable. That you don't have the economy to do it is a whole other issue (and a personal one). What I'm saying is that even if the console had access to the 4-5g network, you would still have to pay up.... But you can still play it basically anywhere

@TheFrenchiestFry

Here's the thing, most people take their mobile phones with them, so the portability is not an issue. I'm sitting in the country right now, playing the demo on my Switch with my mobile as a router, and let me tell you this: it runs like a dream. If you're not out in nowhere "being one with the nature", it should be no problem.

If you excuse me, I'll get back on my seat and pretend that I got a Switch Pro

Re: Devil May Cry's Dante Returns As DLC In The Shin Megami Tensei III Remaster

@Ooyah

Knowyourmeme:

Featuring Dante From The Devil May Cry Series is a phrase taken from a seal placed on the cover of the European release of the video game Shin Megami Tensei: Lucifer's Call to promote the addition of Dante, the main protagonist from the Devil May Cry series into the game. The addition of the seal on the European release, which wasn't present on the releases of the game elsewhere, became a target of mock by the gaming community due to Dante's rather trivial part in the game's plot

@Agriculture never said that you can't make a game inspired of or having features similar to other games 😉 that's how the industry works.

What I'm actually saying is that if a game looks, plays, and feels like another game that just has a different skin plastered onto it, then it's not copying something to enhance your game, it's just lack of creativity, and that very rarely makes a good game.
Think about it, how often have you played Far Cry 3 and thought "wow, this is a mature version of Breath of The Wild!" 😉 There's quite a difference that and what we see here

Mind you, I'm not writing this as a Zelda fan (I don't really care about those games), I'm just pointing out how I see it as just an easy money machine... and it probably is

Re: Atlus Says Persona 5 Scramble's Sales Exceeded Its Expectations

danemord

@NintendoPok buying yet another system just because of one game? What a waste of money...

Besides, people haven't started this anticipation just because of Joker in SSB:U, even though that it raisef people's interest. It's primarily because of the rumours of Persona on Switch before Persona Scramble got revealed together with the survey about which Persona games people would like on the system.

If people see a slight possibility of a popular franchise to be on their system, of course they will show their interest... Anything else would be idiocy (it certainly would make them think twice about releasing anything on Switch if people showed indifference)

Re: The Pokémon Unite Presentation Has Already Been Disliked 150,000 Times

danemord

If they hadn't made a separate Presents for it and teased it as a "big project", I'm pretty sure they could've avoided this (didn't make it better that the presentation was simply chaotic). They should've known better than being so secretive and teasing that fans get too high expectations.

On the other hand, their tactic COULD be to give fans false hope so that as many people as possible would watch the reveal and get as many as possible to know about the game and perhaps download/buy it... we know that fans will get their Pokemon injection despite their own negative feedback. However, that would be a double-edged sword if that was their intention because they never know when fans will get fed up of being treated that way.
