Numskull Games has been making some notable moves in the Switch market recently, such as expanding its reach with its physical editions of games. In an event this week the publisher also unveiled two new games for the system, along with an updated look at a promising 3D platformer.
The first of the new games is Gearshifters, which is the work of Richard Ogden (Colin McRae Rally 2.0 and TOCA Championship Racing); it looks like a rather fun blend of top-down driving and shoot 'em up. It promises nine zones and a whole bunch of boss battles, and looks like the ideal sort of game for dipping into on a commute, for example. It's due out this year.
Also due in 2021 is Treasures of the Aegean, which describes itself as a 'non-linear action-adventure game'. The neat graphical look is inspired by a 'European comic album aesthetic', and there looks to be an emphasis on parkour and smooth movement. It reminds this writer of something like Flashback, albeit larger, smoother and more modern in scope. Its story takes place in a timeloop, and for our money looks like a game to follow closely.
Finally, there's an updated developer interview for Clive 'N' Wrench; this retro-styled 3D platformer has been on the radar for quite some time and is still due this year.
Some interesting games there, which ones are on your wishlist?

Well, actually they look pretty cool! Specially that Clive N´ Wrench, very promising. Let´s see how they all turn out.
The evolution Clive 'N' Wrench has seen is crazy, it's looking genuinely charming and enjoyable now.
I love me a good 3D platformer. Clive and Wrench is looking great and is definitely on my radar. However, I said the same regarding Balan Wonderworld during its preview stage and look how that turned out.
Well, they got me with the rotating monkey
@Tipehtfomottob That game looked bad from the very beggining XD. The only reason people trusted in it is because Yuji Naka was behind, and so they started builiding hype around it.
Loving the look of gear shifters. Clive and Wrench looks good but uninspired so no hype for that.
Clive'n'Wrench is looking great.
Skeptical of Clive n Wrench. Worried its shallow. I'm open to being wrong. I want it to be good.
Clive 'N' Wrench has been on my radar far a while. I had not heard of the other two. I would get Gearshifters during a sale. Treasures of the Aegean is the real surprise. I loved Flashback and Another World/Out of This World; a game like those but smoother and in a comic book style is going to the top of my wishlist.
Gearshifters looks dope. Treasures of the Aegean looks cool too but less so.
I like Treasures of the Aegean and Clive 'N' Wrench.
I'll grab them when they get released.
Hope for physical edition though.
These 3 games look really good and I love that they all play so differently
Saw Clive n wrench & thought of ratchet & clank
