Simply delish!
I'm still on the fence, but I did order the three amiibo via My Nintendo (Australia) this morning to add them to my collection. Good for the diehard fans though.
It's kinda wild to think that out of all the 3rd party franchises to have the most amiibo, it'd be Monster Hunter totaling at 12 figures. We got the 6 from Stories (Japan Exclusive), 3 for Rise, and 3 more when Stories 2 comes out.
You'd think more companies would try to ride on the amiibo's licensing coattails, but I guess the process to get approval isn't that easy?
This looks great.. can't wait for mine to arrive.
@Jaxonh
Prepare your money for this limited edition.
I’ll probably just buy the game and the amiibo separately.
After cancelling my order, Amazon sent me a link to buy it again yesterday. But I declined and will wait for PC.
In the UK this has been sold out everywhere since pre-orders went live. Scalpers have plenty on ebay for £150. *****!
I hope I'm able to get the collector's edition, at least I'll have one if the three amiibo crossed off if I can get it...
I'm glad I cancelled my pre order and went for the standard edition as this definitely isn't worth the money for the extra pin.
Looks nice and great for the die hards
i will be getting the standard edition of Monster Hunter Rise, and finaly play this amazing game in my birthday in early april(april 10th).
Luckily I can make my own amiibo cards, screw buying the amiibo and the practice of hiding content behind them.
Both digital versions of the game are riding high on the European eShop, good to see. It’s currently less than £35 at ShopTo, according to Deku Deals!
@Silly_G same! Then I realised the game comes with the Magnamalo Amiibo 🤦🏻♂️
What a gorgeous game card. Surely no other game card ever made has been as beautiful as this game card 😍 💾
Will the Amiibo unlock Felyne in Animal Crossing? 🤔
I bet he pulled out his army men and had an epic battle with the Magnamalo amiibo.
It's so close, yet so far!
Love it BTW. Can't wait to get mine.
Trash panda monster!? Can't wait
I ended up deciding I don't have room for this. Regular edition arriving on Friday!
That's quite a nice edition. The standard version is good enough for me, so I'll stick with that.
Krysta is hilarious. Looking forward to picking mine up.
Looks like the top of the amiibo box in both cases is creased from folding.....I really hope this is not the case?
Lol how they say they are seasoned on monster hunter but can’t recognise the creatures in the stickers?
Just went with the deluxe edition digitally, as there are a few games which never leave my Switch (Skyrim, MHGU, and now MHR), but that collector's set is pretty nice. However, my prepay just went through yesterday, and the game downloaded while I was at work. Now its going to taunt me...all week long...just sitting there on my Switch and unable to start it! ARGH!
@Medic_Alert that is actually such a good point ... and here I am the sucker that pre-ordered all of it!
@DTFaux I think 3rd parties making Amiibo is probably seen as a risky move. While it may not cost a lot to make an Amiibo, they probably cost more than the game itself (physical manufacturing, not development). And if they overshoot production, they end up with a bunch of Amiibo they can't sell which could wipe out their profits. Also, I think the game needs a really dedicated fanbase to ensure the Amiibo sell. I think in that regard, Monster Hunter has it covered more than most.
@Mr-Fuggles777 Same here, especially since Amazon UK cancelled my order (due to stock issues, apparently).
So I'm going for the T-shirt bundle off Nintendo UK instead; also comes with free steelbook/cards and a £10 T-shirt discount.
@Shadeon_Koopa I just went for the basic game as I'm still unsure if I'm going to like it or not (loved world, hated Generations Ultimate). I decided to pick up the new Xbox Wireless Headset instead of having an amiibo that will just collect dust.
I spent tons of hours on MH4 ultimate, and no other monster Hunter games since. This seems like a good jumping back on point but I just don’t know if I have the time to get sucked into the monster Hunter addiction loop these days!
@Lord
Didn't even get Rathalos
@Beatrice especially I got the base game for £35
