I've bought at least 13 full priced games ($50-60), and at least 8 things of indie and dlc stuff (although probably more). And I can only get $4.60 off a game. Cmon, really? Over $800 or so should get me more than a $4 discount.
And this is all just switch stuff, not to mention all the 3DS stuff I have or have gotten
Been still loving Xenoblade chronicles 2. Got in a bit of Splatoon today as well as some rocket league. But mostly sticking to Xenoblade. Still need to finish Rabbids and Xenoverse, as well as play the Luigi thing in odyssey. I’ll get there eventually
@Kalmaro Ideally, I would have a splattershot with a splat bomb and a tenta missiles. I'd take an ink storm, splashdown, ink armor, or bubble blower too.
I absolutely loved Mario + Rabbids. I am excited for the DLC and look forward to a sequel too. They still can add so much and can expand even further-- bowser, pvp, new level mechanics, etc. etc. Great job on a fantastic game
@UmbreonsPapa It's really fun. Crazy dunks and the players are fun. The controls work well for the most part. Online got a bit tiring (once it finally arrived) because most people would just jack up 3s all day but you could still play with great shot blockers and get around it. I think it's worth $10, I spent probably about 6-10 hours on it.
As weird as it sounds, Excitebots was even better. Could be brutally hard sometimes, but it was such an amazingly fantastic game. One of the best on the Wii, which says a lot
Freaking love OC Remix, so excited for a new album from them for a great game. Checking out now.
If anyone likes this stuff, check out albums for FFVI Balance and Ruin, Chrono Trigger (Chronicles of Time) and their Sonic and DK ones. They have tons really, so many good ones.
Freakin fantastic. I'm very excited for most of this. Boo to the mall though, that level was stale and frustrating in the later part of Splatoon 1's life. Hopefully and most likely they've tweaked it but we'll have to see.
Doesn't look any more spectacular than breath of the wild on a ported switch. No reason then to skip the Switch. I might get it on steam if it comes to that, but I'd rather not.
Man I just got this and Moon Hunters on the steam sale for halloween. If I had known it was coming out for switch, I probably would have paid full price. Oh well
@SLIGEACH_EIRE if you know the source material I'm sure you would recognize it. I didn't know the source material but listened to them back to back and it was plenty easy to tell
@FlashFan207 The Raps wouldn't let me trade for Valun so I guess they rate him highly enough! I'm a Rockets fan but have become a Raptors fan since you have had so many ex-Rockets over the year. I love Lowry and love DeRozan too. I always wish the Raps could get over Lebron, been sad they haven't been able to.
If you like NBA 2K games, this is a great buy. But the controls for me just didn't feel good enough. Capela and CP3 and Harden are some of the best PNR guys in the game, they make it look smooth as butter. Yet the game makes it feel so clunky because you have to hold down the bumper button for so long (L). One of a few complaints I have, shooting being the other really large one.
I've always been an NBA fan but have become a diehard fan recently. I watch every game from my team, am constantly on forums, I know all the players pretty extensively and keep up with different strategies and gms and rumors and all that. My team has a great and crafty GM so the GM simulation thing really appealed to me. I decided to dive in as a way to get pumped up for the upcoming season.
I hadn't played a good simulator like this in a while. I'm fairly good at most games. But the controls on this, although extensive, are just clunky. Pick and rolls are the butter of the modern NBA and yet it's extremely awkward to use. I played as some of the best pick and roll combos in the league and it was still not even close to smooth. The inclusion of the right stick having similar motions do different things is awkward as well. Several times my player would stop and shoot a floater or almost post up move but I wanted them to keep going and shoot a layup. Basic things like layups just feel not right to play as.
The key to all games are the gameplay. It has to be fun or else story, characters and all that are meaningless. The MyGM thing is OK, the league thing is huge, but overall playing the actual game can be kind of fun but is far from as polished and good as it should be. The controls need serious work.
@rockodoodle Sure, not knocking Mario Kart at all or Pokken. Great games, just not games I would double dip in. Very few are-- Smash, Splatoon, and World of Goo (just to support them) are about what I would double dip on.
@rockodoodle Yeah, but I had already gotten the DLC (which was great) so it was really just for battle mode. I've played it on my friends and it is fun but still a skip
I'm excited for 2k18 but I'll definitely want to sell it later so I guess I'll wait for retail... Even though the NBA season starts by then. I preferred to play the game to ramp up for the season

Re: Splatoon 2 Version 2.3.0 Is Now Live
Not much of a change, but undercover brella needed no help. It's by far plenty annoying enough

Re: The Luna Blaster Neo Will Explode Onto The Splatoon 2 Scene This Weekend
Hate ink mines, love the suction bomb launcher though.
Still haven't found a weapon in splatoon 2 where I like all of the gun, sub, and special. Kinda amazing really.
Re: Nintendo Switch Gets A New Lick Of Paint As De Blob Splats Down In 2018
The music from this was great. Had some fun challenges too. I never got much into the sequel for some reason, but I beat the first one and enjoyed it

Re: Everything You Need To Know About NBA Playgrounds' Complicated Enhanced Edition
@Sinton Feels similar to NBA Jam except there's a penalty for shoving. Although you can still do it, just not as frequently.

Re: Review: Pokkén Tournament DX (Switch)
I enjoyed the original but I'll just play it on the Wii U, no need for me to double dip. Same as Mario Kart.
Smash would be the only one I would consider. Even then, I would want a revamped online-- like Splatoon where there's a true way to move up the ranks.

The best change is that they're going to show you how many people are in a raid before you spend a raid pass. That's awesome.
