I got it through the Walmart website just randomly later in the day. But, they cancelled the Zelda special edition BOTW back in the day from me way after the fact.
So I still don't trust Walmart that they'll actually deliver.
Based on the starting lines shown before the goal line, Famitsu and Japanese twitter are wondering if it means this Mario Kart will support 24 players at a time. Seems a bit of a stretch since we only saw ~11 characters in each scene but would be a cool change!
While it starts off easy enough, it quickly gets very difficult on the normal speed (difficulty). It is very satisfying when you are able to beat the harder levels and especially near the end it has some really fun final levels. Overall, there are lots of clever level designs. I've put tons of hours into this simple game and really cannot recommend it enough if you're remotely interested. I beat it both on Switch and tablet for my son (since he always liked to unlock more trains) but the switch version is the better way to go IMO-- more difficulties and more precision with being able to hit buttons instead of just touch (although you can use a touch screen).
Such a great game, especially all the swords you could unlock and the two different sides of the story. Would love to have it updated and out again on Switch
The mobile version you have to pay a subscription for. I'd be interested in getting this if you get all content at one price (as I would if it was that way on mobile too).
Only downside looks like not having dust particles in the coffee shop and attic which is a bit of a shame considering how it kinda adds to the charm of that location but honestly, the rest looks really good.
Interesting that they have the enemies moving and attacking independent of the music instead of also in time, a la crypt of the necrodancer. It sounds like it makes since with them being discordians, but still makes it a bit understandable how it could be frustrating
Absolutely great game that I 100%ed on Xbox. For most of the game it felt very fresh and gave fun challenges. The writing was good and goofy and the new forms and powers and such paved the way for some fun combos and always something to strive for to unlock.
Highly recommended for anyone remotely interested in it.
I still get excited to see new Uniqlo collabs but I feel they've been very lackluster as time has gone on. Like many of these, even FFVI, they're just slapping sprites on there. FFVIII is just a picture from the game.
The Demon Slayer ones felt similar. Later pokemon ones have been overall a bit lackluster. Kingdom had some good ones but still felt they could have done more. The Nintendo ones back in the day were really good. They were still clean but had some interesting and fun designs.
I might have missed it in the review but are there any long amounts of text or dialogue? My 6year old is still learning to read so it's definitely better when games don't have that and/or have VA. I know Kirby usually doesn't have these things but wanted to see
I ended up looking up a guide just to figure out if the story was worth it, it wasn't, so I happily did not waste my time or money (tried it on game pass)
Very excited about all of them but Rabbids probably tops all of them. The first one was such a joy. I never thought I would be most excited about that when Advanced Wars is in the mix but here we are
Excited about all of these: Sea of Stars Afterlove EP Dungeon Munchies Figment 2: Creed Valley OlliOlli World Parkasaurus Chicory: A Colorful Tale Baby Storm GRIME Timelie Some will be day 1s probably
I stream but I need to get into a platform that's better for the artists because the large majority of the music I listen to are arrangements and remixes of video game themes.
It's been a few weeks now already so might not be coming, but could we get a dreamscaper review? Was interested in it because of the person doing the music
The game has some of the most haunting tracks but it also has some of the most beautiful, which makes the contrast between them have the haunting ones stand out all the more. The song of healing going back and forth with minor and major tones is fantastic
Alright I got some off the wall picks (at least probably they'll be taken as such). Guldove Another from Chrono Cross Water Town from Final Fantasy III (not VI) Molgera's Battle Theme (Wind Waker) and the original Bubble Bobble music
I love this game so much. $30USD does seem high but I'll still likely double dip and get this on switch as well. I like slay the spire as well, but I would recommend this one over slay the spire even. Not saying fans of the genre will like it more, they're pretty close in my mind. But people who don't have experience with the genre will likely find this a better starting point as well as more fun and accessible. Slay the spire can be brutal at first
This is a fantastic game that I'll be double dipping on switch for sure. It is so full of personality and the art style and music are great compliments. If you're at all interested, definitely check it out
Brawl in the Family http://brawlinthefamily.keenspot.com/archive/ was a great comic back in the day and it's awesome that the creator has more content and this time for the switch. I highly recommend checking it out
Yay! It doesn't work great on my PS4 for whatever reason so I usually have to cast it to my TV which only works when my phone and TV feel like cooperating so this will be nice.
Woah I had no idea MC Jin was in this! That's awesome and makes me want to see it way more. I like watching and listening to him, he's a cool dude. Done lots of different things here in north America and across the pacific, he has some really good free styles and raps and things if you wanna check it out. He raps in English and Mandarin
I really hope they give Leon more flair than they did in the CG movies for instance. Don't make him all dark and brooding the whole time, give him a bit of levity on occasion like in RE4. The overall story can be dark sure but needs to have more or else no reason to make it Leon
My only worry is that Pikmin 3 had some difficult parts where you would need the Wiimote to play with-- running away from a boss one way while simultaneously throwing pikmin the other way which you could not do with one control stick. Maybe they'll have different control options so I can control where I throw Pikmin with the right stick? But then I don't know what I would do with the camera. Old school N64 with rotating the camera left and right with buttons? I dunno
@impurekind Go look up all of the reports about the camps. Unless you blindly believe the Chinese government, even the most conservative reports are horrifying.
If Byleth came out as a fighter earlier on in the fighter pass, it wouldn't have gotten near the negative attention. Order matters in marketing and such. But it's fine and we all knew three houses was a bit inevitable. It's a great game too so cool that it can be represented I guess. Just not terribly exciting and doesn't seem very interesting as a character. I would have rather they had an equipping mechanism or something, and more interesting things from the bow like an arching projectile or something
It would be one thing to say you’re cheating ahead of time- although probably you won’t get any followers or become pro because you don’t have skills. But to lie about it is fraud- people might “follow” you because they think you’re so good at the game when in reality you’re not.
Bottom line- be a “content creator” by being good or interesting and not relying on cheating, you idiots

Re: Mario Movie Release Date Brought Forward For US And Others
Still should have been released on Mar10 day but maybe they're looking to get the crowds with late spring breaks? Dunno, April is still weird.
Maybe with years starting in April then it makes more sense for it to release in Japan then?
Re: Fan Favourite 'We Love Katamari' Returns With Remaster And New Features In June

Killer Queen!
I assume she means arcades nowadays that have retro games, you pay a fee to get in and then play unlimited games.

Re: Random: The Song In This Metroid Dread Japanese Commercial Is A Certified Banger

Cool song! I didn't watch the video and just listened because I don't want to see more of the game until it's out but I hope the CM does well

Re: Soapbox: Music Just Don't Come Spookier And Sadder Than Zelda: Majora's Mask
It might be well known, but Materia collective put out a Majora's mask remix album a few years ago that has several great tracks. https://www.materiacollective.com/music/fate-a-tribute-to-majoras-mask

Re: Soapbox: Chiptune Is Great, But The Impact Of A Full Orchestra Is Unbeatable
The Zelda orchestrated album they put out when they initially released skyward sword was gorgeous. Still some of my favorites.
