Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp

It’s been about a month now since Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp saw a global release, and it has since seen a modest success on smartphone storefronts. Though perhaps a bit oversimplified, the game goes a long way towards miniaturizing the core series experience into an easily accessible experience that feels well-suited to the platform. Of course, it’s not just a one and done type of affair either; more content is expected to be added in the coming weeks and months.

One such content update seems to be on the horizon, as the Japanese Twitter account recently teased. Silhouettes of seven new characters were shown off in an image, though the timing of their showing up in the game is unknown. Still, it’s nice to see Nintendo keeping Pocket Camp updated with fresh things to do; hopefully the game will receive post-launch support on the same level as Fire Emblem Heroes.
