All those people complaining about the price of the games should ask themselves, how many games have I got on my shelf still in their wrappers? The reason we all have huge back logs is in part because the games are so cheap. I can clearly remember paying £60.00 for SFII on the Snes back in 92, adjusted for inflation that is £132.00. If you think how much everything has gone up since 1992, we've had it good for far too long. No one can moan, maybe we will just buy the games we're actually going to play? Half the Switch games I own I have yet to open!

Your first script may be more accurate than you think. People should stop worrying about their back logs!

I've played all the games apart from the PSP one (not yet anyway) and if someone asked me to explain the story I wouldn't have the faintest idea. Still good action rpg's though

I have so many great memories of playing this on N64 and beating it. At least 3 times. N64 magazine called it Zelda's evils twin. If you play it now your basically retro gaming and you need to understand that. I might check it out

I remember ringing the Nintendo hotline in 2000, I was playing the original Zelda on the Nes and was stuck. This was before I had Any Internet access. So it must have still been going in some form

I played it on the Wii and finished it but I very nearly gave up because the Wii motion controls were terrible. However, I'm so glad I persevered because it's an amazing game and a long one too. I'm definitely going to play the HD version soon. I would avoid the Wii version though! Oh and Okamiden on the DS is great also

I finally got around to playing Terranigma (real cart/real snes/crt) this year and loved it. I actually bought it in 2002. My backlog is beyond insane!

I heard so many great things about this game I decided to play it, on the Wii. Now you would imagine the Wii would be the ideal console for this game what with the 'brush strokes' and all but it was so badly implemented that I almost gave up. I didn't and I am so glad I didnt because the game is amazing but it's a long games that's for sure. The controls on the Wii are no RE4 that's for sure. I really want to play this again maybe on the Switch or PS4. Oh and the DS game is great too!

I wouldn't dream of playing my (PAL) RGB N64 on anything other than a CRT. Whilst all of my games are PAL (obviously) that I bought back in the 90's, I use an everdrive to play the NTSC counterparts.

Gotta say I think the GBA is one of Nintendo best systems and there's never been a better time to jump in. For starters you can now buy backlit ips modded consoles, I was one of those who played it with no light back in the day but these IPS screens are amazing. Also if you have a Gamecube and the Gameboy player playing the games via the GBI/RGB/CRT is just amazing. I just finished my second play of Mother 3 that way. Oh and the fact it also plays all the GB/GBC games is just another reason why it's such an amazing console

Okay but you forgot Radiant Historia and that is unforgivable. If you only play one RPG on the DS play Radiant Historia. It really is that good

@UltimateOtaku91 You gotta just do what you want to do and F everyone else. Back during the GBA years I used to take my console to work and play it all the time. I worked in an aluminium foundry and got some funny looks but soon the other guys were borrowing it of me. I'm 51, I've been a gamer most of my life I've taken my Switch and played it in the doctors surgery. Some people do look, I imagine. I'm too busy to notice

The first Zelda game I ever played was OOT back in '98. It changed my life, turned me into a then Retro gamer! I dug out my old NES went to car boot sales and managed to pick Zelda 1 & 2 (those were the days) anyway I played through both but damn Zelda II is punishing!! When I got stuck, which was often I rang the Nintendo Hotline. They knew me by name eventually. This was before the internet, well for me it was.

I will no doubt get this as I've enjoyed the other two. I recently played Arc Rise Fantasia and yes the English VO is terrible, I played the Jap dub. However the game was not what I was expecting at all, it's actually very good.

I played the Gamecube version this year for the first time and absolutely loved it.

@whereswarren I remember how dissapointed I was as a child with my Atari 2600 version and then when I bought the NES version it still wasn't as I remembered it in the arcades. It wasn't until Donkeykong64 (you had to collect special coins) that I finally got to play the arcade version again after all those years

I agree. I've just finished the game and I barely noticed a problem. I mean the original GB game and a ton of stuttering when things got busy but this you have to look for it.

I tried to play it again last year and gave up because I could not get used to the controls. You can't invert the water aiming and for me it's the wrong way round

N64 magazine called it Zelda's evil twin, high praise indeed. I actually preferred it to Turok 2, I never finished Turok 2 because I got lost/bored. I did finish Shadowman though.

Having played the HD remaster of Shadow of the Colossus with high expectations (never having played the original) can't say I was impressed. Maybe the game was broke and terrible before they got their hands on it?

40 Hours? I put in over 70 and even though I beat it I didn't do every side quest

For the western market a Switch bundle with multiple docks would make more sense, we have more TV's per household.

Devastated we won't be getting the 3DS version. That was the version I most wanted and would have been a great way to end the 3DS library.

Seiken Densentsu was the first game I ever played via emulation many years ago thanks to the translation by Neil Corlett. The previous SNES game was one of my all time favourite games

The Switch is selling like crazy without EA support. It's impossible to get a Switch even though third parties have remained lukewarm. That tells you something.
