I personally think we are already getting a lot of great titles. Maybe not very strong launch line of titles as we hoped, but hey it's always better to get something than nothing. And we all know more amusing titles are coming up. Like (almost) everyone else, I also desire Mother 3 and new Metroid on the Switch, but let me quote the article:

"There's plenty of time for big names and franchises to make their way onto the Switch"

Imagine if Nitendo shoot all their bullets, announced every title they are planning or working on and then released them ALL straight after the Switch release and in one year. People would have not enough money to purchase everything, would not have enough time to play or they would get bored of Switch very quickly because getting everything at once is no fun at all.

Hmm... A first person POV would be definitely interesting, but I don't want to jump to conclusions. Though I prefer the good old third person POV in franchises like SF, this new mode (or call it change) could bring a lot of new players who have no experience with the series. But it could also have completely opposite effect.

Now I want live in the UK and meet Alex for some game event. I bet gaming with him must be fun since he himself is such kind and funny person too

I'm kinda annoyed with seeing all those comments dictating on what Nintendo should have done or should do, what they did wong or what they should include but didn't. If you all people who complain about everything are such a great developers and know how to represent something better, why don't you do it then? And how come you don't work at Ninendo HQ yet? If you are so great, I'm sure Nintendo can't wait to employ you lol...

Now back to the article. I'm really hyped for another warriors collab game. I have been a Nintendo fan since the nes era (SMB3 was my all time favorite) and KOEI fan since... forever? Played all their games - Orochi W, Samurai W, Dynasty W and TROTK. I even remember playing their online games, it was always a lot of fun even though it had outdated graphics and bad controlls. I just hope they will bring Dynasty Warriorrs to Switch, that would be perfect. The future of Switch seems bright so we might see DW9 on all the major consoles, Switch included!

And Mushroom Kingdom Warriors woul be definitely interesting, smashing through all the goombas with Mario or Peach lol xD

I know Dragon Quest Heroes: The World Tree's Woe and the Blight Below (collab between Dragon Quest and KOEI's Warriors) is localized and out on PC, but I hope they will localize the Switch version too. Shoudn't be that difficult since they already have the PC and PS4 version localized.

Now I feel sad I can't purchase it day 1 lol. Great article, gave me a lot of what to think about. My hands are small and thin so N3DS XL never felt uncomfortable, but it's good to hear the joy cons will fit in hands of any shape and size.

Interesting. I hope this move will inspire others and we get more classic JRPGs, but with a whole new concept and stories to be unfold. Also I wonder if SE Japan also calls it Switchmas lol

On the other hand... Not even one ARPG for Switch? I miss old good action packed RPG full of steampunk elements, guess that's more of a PC thing.

People around me keep telling me how awesome the game is. I might try it, but it's not a sole reason to buy the Switch. I'm most excited about the new Mario. But I got a lot of time before I gather money to buy it heh

I was slightly disappointed to be honest. I hoped for more and for more strong presentation. In my subjective opinion, that didn't happen. But they showed a lot of what they promised and even some surprises.

@jaymacx Of course Switch needs to sell well first, but I don't really need ports. I new exclusive game from SE that's not in 2D and is for Nintendo would be a nice treat. I know this game includes some 3D aspects as well, but I hope Nintendo first party games and Skyrim (which is still with a question mark) aren't the only "fully 3D" games we are getting in the near future.

@shaneoh Really? I don't own a PS4 (my sister does though, but I rarely play on it even though she lives just right across the street lol XD) or any other Sony product so I had no idea about this. I always thought when they give you something for free it means it's yours... forever. This sounds more like borrowing for limited time.

I have a small TV so the "handheld" mode won't be much different from the "home-console" mode (and I'm not buying a bigger TV), but this looks perfect! And was Animal Crossing included in the original MK8 on the Wii U or are they freshly added like the Splatoon ones?

So basically "GTFO" to those who don't own multiplatforms/consoles like me who's forever stuck with 3DS (I love my 3DS, don't misunderstood) and not yet purchased Switch. My only hope again is that my sister or her boyfriend will start liking FF games enough to buy it for their PS4. They love RPG games and Overwatch though so there is a small percentage of it possibly happening.

FF on Nintendo may be a long forgotten history, but SE please try to bring some awesome game over Switch that's not done in retro (2D) style! I love 2D games, but Switch is not a retro console they need some kicking-butts games too!

@shaneoh True and sad. That's why I hope for some worthy free titles, preferably offline ones that won't require online activity. If they want us to pay for the game and for playing online as well at least give us something in return :3

@therealgamer Wait... what? Syberia 3? Really? Hell God how I could have missed that one? My all time favorite adventure. I hope it comes in the edition with Syberia 1 and 2 included like for PC and other consoles, though that will be difficult, they would need to re-done it for Switch... but it's the best news of today!

JRC, xzone and CZC for customers living in Czech offer the same pre-order price (with little difference of few koruna), other retail stores are a bit too expensive. Just in case someone here is from the same country which is sadly unlikely XD

If Puyo Puyo Tetris will get a localization then it's pure heaven for me, but seeing how Puyo Puyo Tetris for 3DS went it's unlikely. I was hoping for Puyo Puyo Chronicles, played the japanese version, didn't understand a word, but it was a hell of fun.

Excited for Super Bomberman R it looks exciting and amazing. But nothing can beat the fun of Bomberman Land Touch!

I have a 128GB micro card, but I have that in use...for something else lol. So this means I will have to buy another one (they are still pricey) or I'll just will buy only retail games which kind of sucks because I bet they are going to do some "digital-only" titles again as we seen with 3DS.

That's awesome news, but KOEI please... can't you bring a new Dynasty Warriors to the Switch? We got Samurai Warriors for 3DS and they are good, but DW was my dream for many years. I know I can play most of the games on PC, but I'm not really a PC gamer

@Hikingguy I thank you as well. I have been fighting this for 17 years already (since I was ten) so I'm used to it. But real stories like yours still pain me so much. There is nothing that can compare to the pain of losing someone. Death is something inevitable for us all, but if I saw a child suffering I rather Death to take my life than the little one. They don't deserve it and it's unfair. You are such awesome person for not giving up. And though it may sound laughable for some, I'm glad Wii U can bring the good memories of your son. I'm sure it's not the only thing that reminds you of him, but it's something of a great achievement. Nintendo was always about connecting people and family together. May your son rest in peace and even though I don't exactly believe in things like Hell and Heaven and my words won't ease your pain and suffering, if there is truly something like Heaven I hope he is all happy and playing all the games he loved when he was still here with us:).

I hardly learned how to convert $USD to CZK. The only thing about £GBP (and €Euro which sems to be very similiar to Pounds?) I know is that it's always a bit higher than USD, but it does not equal being more expensive. Correct me if I'm wrong, I find all those different currencies very confusing and math was never my thing lol. Our ex-sibling country Slovakia already adapted to €, we on other hand aren't getting it any soon... 2020 maybe? The later the better, I like our current currency XD

As a no Wii U owner, i need this! Wish it was launch title, but I don't want to complain lol XD Hmmm with Mario this is goingto be title I want to pick after I get the console. I'm still unsure about Zelda, definitely not my favorite game (don't hate me, please).

Since it probably won't be out anytime soon I'm glad I got some more time to spend with Xenoblade for 3DS. Too many games so I was always leaving Xenoblades for later, now I can pick it up and get into the hype. I'm glad it's not a port, but a whole new game :3

Looks extremely charming, totally picking it up when I can. I hope it will come in a bundle with red version of the console. Retailer here finally settled on the 300usd including tax/vat so I don't have to buy it overseas which is great.

I never played it, but wanted try so much. I loved the trailed and hoped for 3DS port, but nothing. Now my wish came true! Except I will have to pay some extra now to play it online, but well... it's Splatoon! <3

Since I have tons of time I spend it with intensive playing. This is kinda bad news for me, I can already see people making fun of a Switch being tablet rather than console. Nvidia might have been wrong choice, but we will see... it's not buy day 1 for me anyway so there can still come lot of good news

If they do that at good price with free games in offer then why not. Otherwise it's a disappointment. Nintendo was unique with their free-of-charge online policy.

@AlexOlney Great video as always Alex, you never cease to amuse me. But I honestly want completely new games, whole new experience and concept. Not that I'm tired of the already well delivered games, ports, sequels and their re-releases, but I wish we get more than that. I don't mind at all if it will be from the niches we all know so well (so not that new at all hah), but I want to see it in a new light. Some new story, new elements, completely new look. Old is good, but in case of what Switch promises to offer (or what Nintendo promised) a want to see something new.

Gender swapping is something I hoped for. I'm suprised even 3DS owners will get the update, but... no co-op? Because the article said apart from 3DS and Vita. Why are handhelds being excluded?

Anything I can get on 3DS or that doesn't itch my interest, I'm not buying, not even in near future since my budget is low and I want to experience new games on the Switch and they won't be cheap. I like lego games though, there's something special about them and honestly they are tons of great fun. I wish they would bundle Harry Potter lego and bring it to Switch, sadly 3DS got only the years 5-7 if I recall correctly.

I can only say I'm now glad I don't resident in NY and not buying day 1. Hopefully here won't be a problem with stock since the userbase seems very small here. Depending on the retail price here I may order overseas though.
