@WaffleRaptor01 That’s pretty much EXACTLY what I meant. Sorry if I didn’t articulate it correctly. I still like characters like Bayonetta as she both fits the tone and personality of the game itself. Something like the blades in Xeno 2 (I think that’s what they were called) had all these suggestive angles that the only emotion I felt was laughter.

@smithyo There are plenty of times I don’t mind, though. Society has been so obsessed with women’s bodies over the years that it’s almost distracting and has nothing to do with story. I only take issue with this due to preservation’s sake.

That's a big difference though, looking at something as part of the background versus looking it up online. It's a very odd considering the promise of preservation. It even makes a good talking point as to how games were marketed then vs. how they are now and what the industry has learned.

Any 3rd party game that’s at all decent on Wii can be considered a hidden gem. There are so many of them that next to no one has heard of

I had no idea they were still around. I mean, I knew they were trying to get Timesplitters going but I assumed it was from a new developer.

I gave up trying to 100% SMG the moment Super Luigi Galaxy showed up. That level was maddening.

A 9/10 for now, but it’s just a hair away from a 10/10 mostly because the level design is the best of any platform game I played in years.

No one asked if this game has gyro aiming 😞

This is odd as SwitchUp has stated the opposite about nearly every negative this reviewer poses.

You guys forgot to mention it’s developed by Wayforward which gives me confidence in this game that I otherwise wouldn’t have.

@Antraxx777 Unfortunately, the original Anniversary game is completely different. I played that on Wii and had a blast. Since this new one has it where you can swap visuals. It’s more like the controls will be faithful to the original trilogy.

Tomb Raider has aged like milk though, particularly in the control department. Doesn’t sound like they’re changing it either because that’s something they’d definitely want to mention in their press release.

Not a cartoon exactly, but Power Rangers would make a lot of sense. You could play as different variations of characters culled from its 30 year run.
