It is not about appetite, it has more to do with Talent. You know the thing that Rareware bleed to death before the sale to Microsoft. Anyone claiming otherwise, I implore you to revisit every Xbox game made by Rare. The best one was a Kinect game. Unless you thought the great graphics of Viva Pinata somehow makes the game better then mediocre due to the odd/horrifying/terrible gameplay overall.
It is so much worse then I originally feared. The Nintendo tax is in full force here. I was expecting $30-40 and we are getting Nintendo-ed. $60 retail damn I hated Nintendo for treating us like a purse of money that they steal from constantly.
To be actually honest, and not read Into things, this is great news. I don't trust in someone that failed to publish a game on iOS or Android and goes directly to Switch because the market is smaller. We do not need games on Switch that cannot be released on platforms that "literally" anyone can release games or apps on. I think he is hiding the true story from us. I am all about supporting Indie games, but when they fail to get into the automatic systems like Android, we should, at the very least, remain skeptical of him and his ability to deliver or tell the truth. This article is click-bait at best. Shame on you, this site gets worse and worse everyday. Don't worry guys, more content and news in the form of videos that should remain on YouTube pretending to be articles here. The site is not dead guys, just follow us on YouTube for our mediocre at best content. The game looks straight out of 1999 flash web browser with no unique game-play.
Edit: TL;DR: Good for Nintendo. We have enough garbage, no need to allow a, most likely, F2P game that now costs money because it could not bother to get onto the easiest platforms in the world first (Android/iOS). Proving yourself is hard and should be ignored when you can complain instead and force things.
This is exactly why Nintendo lags behind everyone else. They are still clueless about how to run an online service. Their eShop has gotten worse since the Wii and 3DS. How does that even happen? The Switch eShop is like an unfinished beta. You have to know what you want going in and that is just garbage design. They also still do not offer the option to download every game although that has improved since 3DS, but needs to keep improving and allow demos for all games indefinitely, instead of this temporary demo crap. Nintendo needs to get some advice on Online services because the Switch Service continues to be a joke with no SNES on the horizon and N64 being years to decades out. They have no clue how much money they could make. Instead they try to resell us games we already got and own. How are Nintendo fans this ignorantly fanboyish and keep buying the same games?
Hershey... Really? They make the worst chocolate ever. Not sure why they are as big as they are because it is chalky and bland. I guess the quality of goods is not a factor.
So sad to hear that this game might have been more then a simplified version cash garb F2P game that it turned out to be. Only existing to milk money for people that throw money at anything related to games they actually love.
Of course it is, it bombed everywhere else because they tried to re-release a game over five years later at full $60 price tag. They might have a chance with the ignorance of Nintendo fans. They throw away money on worse games. Not a terrible game, but it does set out to screw you on price tag. I would have purchased this game for $20, but any higher is a laughable purchase.
The saddest part of all of this, is how Mario had the greatest value and Fire Emblem Heroes is the most anti-fanfare F2P game that Nintendo have made. Sure it is technically free, but when you can spend literally tens of thousands of dollars and not get what you want, that is a piece of (****) game designed to make you spend more money. Heroes is not just meant to (****) you though, the gameplay is oversimplified and boring as (****). Heroes can die in a (*******) fire and if you enjoy it, never play Fire Emblem because you would be overwhelmed with actual mechanics.
(You used some not so lovely language - Matthew010)
To be fair, Treehouse has done an excellent job in every translation I have seen. The fans tend to put out hate towards them without merit. They blamed Treehouse for some stuff in the Bravely Default series that was in the Japanese games. Fans are ignorant piles of garbage most of the time and put a lot of emphasis on the translations when it doesn't meet their internal expectations. Nintendo of America has one of the best in house teams translating in the treehouse team. They need to stop directly blaming translations just because they set expectations too high. They also think, ignorantly that since Nintendo Japan is translating that they would not change things like the censorship in Bravely Default. People think Nintendo of America makes those ignorant changes. Nintendo of Japan has always treated Nintendo of America like a special case. This is why Fire Emblem was not released stateside until GameBoyAdvance and why EarthBound 3 is not a game in America. At least put the blame where it belongs.
Cute, but at that price, why not just buy something that you know sounds great for less money? There is no real surprise that it is not funded. It looks like a toy and they don't even talk about sound quality. They also claim it as the first Bluetooth Switch speaker, but only ever show it docked or sound through HDMI. We get that it is a Bluetooth speaker that also works with the Switch, but to claim it is the first Bluetooth Switch speaker is misleading at best. It also has a 15000mAh battery and only lasts for six hours. Who is going to buy this heavy battery device that barely lasts through lunch? Speakers like the JBL Xtreme have a 10,000mAH battery and boasts 15 hours of sound. I have used the JBL Xtreme in the past and can verify that it gets very loud and lasts over 12 hours at the highest setting. It retails for the same price, offers 1/3 the battery life and have 1/2 the wattage drivers. I very much doubt the quality of this speaker using such a massive battery and having such laughable numbers. I get it, you want an all in one, but do not waste this much money on junk like this. Instead, buy a cheaper version then a JBL Xtreme and still get better sound along with a Bluetooth adapter for the switch and just put the Switch in your Nulaxy Foldable Tablet Phone Stand (or similar item) and you will spend a similar amount and all of your products will last longer and be much much lighter. You will thank me later when your arms are not tired from carrying around this PoS that weighs too much and delivers too little.
TL;DR: This is like getting a JBL Xtreme without the loud volume and bass, bigger and heavier 15,000mAH vs JBL 10,000mAH battery with somehow not even near 1/2 the battery life (Switch gimmick speaker 6 hours vs JBL Xtreme over 12 hours at max loudness), the JBL also has drivers that are 20w over this speakers 10w and is contained in a form that uses air to help create bass and improve sound. If it looks like cheap plastic and doesn't present itself as better then cheap, it is most likely cheap all around.
What I want to know, after doing a bit of research, is how we can get Nier Automata on Switch. I didn't know Platinum Games worked on that game. Not even Bayonetta is that good.
A "Specialist" working for the US copyright office means nothing. What does specialist mean and how does it apply to copyright. This is just clickbait [removed] from TMZ. It worked though and here it sits on another site gaining traction. Even if he was a scholar on copyright, which I doubt, it doesn't affect the court case in the slightest. A judge will hear evidence from both sides, this is just an opinion from a guy that works at the copyright office and means nothing.
At this point I hope Retro Studios mystery game does show up, because if it does not, it means they spent four years doing a simple port to switch (six-eight months at best). That does not sound great, but it would validate rumors of their possible closure last year. They were obviously working on something and if we do not see it this year, it was canceled. Which would support all evidence to include how hard the decision to restart with Retro Studios and explains, even more, why they did not get it in the first place. They have lost faith in Retro Studios a long time ago and have had to babysit them since.
I got so excited because the title was clickbait and omitted DX. People that want it on 3DS already have it. This site gets worse every day. At least list a bunch of sales and make a legit non-clickbait informative article.
Why are they so lost when it comes to Online services. It is very simple and I would even pay $60 a year if they implemented an actual virtual console. It would include games from every NES-GameCube. Two new games for each system monthly with some bonuses for other consoles here and there. They could even use the Online platform as an introduction to the games and push them onto a Virtual Market after a month and keep the price at $20.
Knowing Nintendo they will release SNES games sparingly and only get to N64/GameCube towards the end of the console's life. Oh and make the eShop not garbage and chat built into the console. Very reasonable asks, so hire some coders or partner with Discord.
This could very well be a massive year for them, but it will be slow until at least April or May. The FF 7 Remake could have been a huge system seller, even if we had to wait a bit, I just don't see a simple port selling that many systems. Hopefully, it will at least be the enhanced PS4 version now that we know it will not be a remake.
So it was a slow news day? How is stating the obvious news? Obviously, they will keep selling something if it continues to sell. No reason to make a story out of everything they say.
Am I one of the few that could care less about the number of females working at a company? What matters more to me, is that they hire the most talented people to work on their games. Gender, Eye/Hair/Skin color or Sexual Preference don't matter when it comes to making great games.
I am so excited for this title and somehow it bypassed the Nintendo tax. It seems the devs and publisher are not out to take advantage of us. The digital version only costs $20. This is how you do an HD update Nintendo, so pay attention. It includes fanfare and updates to gameplay as well. Props to HumaNature Studios for making the original game even better and adding online play for only $20.
The Zelda remake later this year should also cost no more than $20, unless you add content, even then, please leave the Nintendo tax off this one and release it for $30. We don't need a 25-year-old game with simple graphics updates to cost full retail like Tropical Freeze. Don't Nintendo us on the price please.
I think a lot of the issue comes down to Nintendo not being sure where to go with the IP after Prime. They would have continued making the games, but Retro Studios fell apart, multiple times losing key staff. Nintendo do not have a lot of experience making a Prime type (FPS) game and I think that is why the partnership with Bandai fell apart on Prime. It just did not come together to make a AAA experience. Western developers just know how to do FPS games better. So they were in a bind, they have lost faith in Retro Studios, but after being backed into a corner with few other options, chose to give Retro another chance with the series. I just hope this isn't a last ditch choice like when they chose to develop the Switch OS in-house after Cyanogen told them no because that one continues to bite them back. The alpha state of the eShop and lack of on console chat show their inexperience. They should have tried asking more American companies for help. With the possibility of Xbox Live coming to Switch, having 343 work on Metroid would be amazing. It could bring a new vision to the series just as Retro did way back when.
I just fear the worst with Retro Studios. They are far from the company that they used to be. They can make good games, at least they could four years ago, but making a massive 3D open-world action FPS game centered around exploration is vastly different than a side scroller with 2D/3D models and no changing perspective. The lack of any games (outside of one simple port), updates, or any official information for the last four years is more than troubling. The passing Direct almost proves their mystery project was canceled. That along with rumors of closing the studio last year, along with semi-supported information about leadership falling apart and being clueless once again, help support this reasoning. I just hope Nintendo can provide enough leadership to right the company because every year it tends to get worse over there and if this does not go well, I fear Retro Studios will close. Once again, I hope they can deliver, but at this point, it is an uphill battle.
To be fair, controversial for Nintendo is much different than other companies. Bravely Default had bare skin in it and was censored when brought to American audiences. Which is fair because Chibi's are not very adult looking by design. Nintendo tries to avoid any controversy.
Don't worry guys we will see a trickle of SNES games by next year probably and finally get GameCube games by the times the Switch 3 rolls out. Why does Nintendo not understand that people want these games and will pay for them? We just do not want to feel like Nintendo is taking advantage of us? $8 for a 20-year-old game is not good pricing. More than 1 for NES, 2 for SNES, 4 for N64, and 6 dollars for GameCube games is a bit much. Also, consider a massive discount for packaging 10/20/30 games. Fans would rain money down on Nintendo. I know I would pay, but until then I will support modding NES/SNES classic because they just do not want my money. Hopefully, the new President looks into pricing before moving forward because he seems to be more open to fanfare done right, at least in Let's Play form, than previous ones.
It already runs a custom version of Android, this is why Nintendo has taken so long to get updates going as they continue to struggle with coding under such an alien code. Sure it looks better, but there is a reason why chat is missing and the eShop is still worse than OG Xbox, Wii or 3DS. They should have asked more people for help instead of hiding in their shell once Cyanogen developers told them no. Hopefully, they get the hang of it soon because the eShop is beyond a joke at this point. I shouldn't have to know what games I want before browsing.
Maybe this mod will open up Homebrew opportunities. Outside of that seems pointless with such a low powered device.
I was saddened to hear this. Retro Studios was a powerhouse back in the day, but are a completely different company on every level. That is not to say they cannot make good games, but lack the great leadership and development prowess They had when Metroid Prime was huge. This is why Nintendo has shifted them around and allowed them to Co-Develop right after it nearly collapsed and had to rebuild and let them go on once stable to develop Donkey Kong. This is also why every new game sees a new director.
People are wearing rose-tinted glasses if they are overjoyed by this announcement. It is like announcing a random company making the game and there is a reason why Nintendo chose not to let Retro develop the game from the beginning. That is not to say the game is hopeless, maybe Shigeru Miyamoto will take over once again as producer as he did with the original Metroid Prime. Either way, my expectations have been lowered because as good as you think Retro Studios is, they are not even close to the company that they used to be. Let's be honest a side scroller is much easier to make then a 3D open world Action RPG.
Edit: There is a reason why we have not seen any games or news from Retro Studios. Why haven't we heard about that mystery game they were working on. The company is in dire straits and needs to deliver before Nintendo does shut them down. Hopefully they can get some talent and recover, but Retro Studios has been in trouble since before the last Prime game launched.
Better... For Nintendo, but still very bad compared to almost everyone else, including Sony. That is saying a lot as they are the current tyrants of the console space. Then again Nintendo has to remain king of something. Hopefully they will stop getting in the way of free advertising and stealing from their own fans completely in the future. These arbitrary rules are garbage and only fanboys will say this is enough or fair.
I especially love how they state that if you use third party content you are responsible for getting rights to show them, because no one else in the industry has shutdown let's plays like Nintendo. Except for a few notable piles of literal garbage like the Firewatch developer (Campo Santo) copyright striking a Let's Play even though their website explicitly states you can do Let's Plays. The only example of a worse policy then Nintendo, but when you have to dig that far into the trash, you are comparing yourself to trash. It is not a place you should be comfortable as a company.
edit: changed press to advertising to clarify things
Hey Guise... Don't Blame Nintendo... They are not the developer... Ignorance is not always bliss my friends and you should remove that stick shaped Nintendo device from your mouth or rear end before speaking. Can we stop pretending that Nintendo has not say in what controls are allowed in their games. I mean they forced Dinosaur Planet to become Star Fox Adventure and even that was not enough to save that pile of poo. Nintendo may not have made the first decision to not include support, but they signed off on it, which is just as bad. Was thinking about purchasing, but now is a nibelsnarf that garbage poop game. Need to read on more games going forward. Not sure how a simple input device cannot be supported by all games as it has the same up/down/left/right/a/b buttons on it. Nintendo is nibelsnarfing over people that buy and play their games by allowing ignorance like this. This goes beyond forcing expensive screw the fanboy NES Joycons into only working on NEW games. It is unecessary, pointless and punishing for no reason.
I get that they claim to want a simple OS, but simple does not mean it should lack features or options. That and the disgrace of an eShop only shows that their coding experience with Android is holding them back. They need to hire some outside talent or do their homework already. Getting tired of using a alpha/beta software. They also need to fix chat so it is not worse then 20 year old gaming tech.
"Miyamoto admits Nintendo’s fixed-cost model on certain devices - including mobile platforms - currently wasn’t working. Despite this, the company intends to persist with the model"
Yet Pokemon Go is not fixed pricing and more importantly Fire Emblem Heroes is the biggest cash dump games I have ever played. You can literally spend $10000 and because of it's legal loophole gambling you might not get everything. He also goes on about reasonable prices, yet they just do deluxe editions of Wii-U games on Switch and charge another full retail $60. Even the Donkey Kong revamp should have been both games for $30 and the same goes for Bayonetta. Every re-release on the Switch costs $20-30 more then is reasonable. How do even the most devout Nintendo fans justify LA Noire costing $50 over a decade later or Doom costing full retail when you could get it on everything else when it launched for $15? Porting a game is not that hard and I can understand a reasonable markup of $10 but Nintendo should discourage robbery like Bethesda game re-releases instead of embracing the model. Not sure Nintendo knows what the word reasonable means. I love you Miyamoto, but you should look at your house before talking to the rest of the market.
Haha, this is just more proof that Nintendo needs to hire Android programmers with actual knowledge of the OS. They have no clue how to optimize the Custom Android OS for even simple things like chat. When a 3rd party makes your multi-billion dollar company look like a literal joke, it is time to stop being bullish. Get over being told to f-off from the Cyanogen dev and ask for help. Please... before it is too late. The Switch OS is so featureless due to lack of experience it is laughable. You do not know what you are doing, so get some help already. Accept the help that has already been offered by discord or anyone else, because you have proven yourselves to be ignorant on Android programming.
TL;DR: Nintendo needs to get over the original rejection when asking for help and branch out, because they obviously have no knowledge when it comes to the Android OS. When the Wii/3DS offers a better OS, you are going so far backwards, you need help.
Inb4 games first is why it succeeded... oh way too late for that garbage. There are some major issues with the Switch, can we just admit it and stop being fanboys. It will make future iterations of the currently garbage OS better for everyone. When the launch 3DS OS is better then the year and a half Switch OS, you know they are struggling with the Android inner workings. They need to hire some Android programmers already, because Nintendo Online is a joke made reality. Netflix is on everything and the fact that it still doesn't exist on Switch either means Nintendo is doing some really bad stuff with coding, licensing or otherwise. Nintendo has somehow lost a lot of progress on their OS design. When the Wii embarrasses your current console from a usability, features, and apps front; you messed up so so so bad. Nuclear bad.
When multiplayer that already exists and cloud saves are your entire network for $20 dollars a year, you know you are disconnected from reality. Oh sorry, forgot to mention some garbage re-re-re-re-released NES roms also included in a quantity less then ten. I didn't expect them to match PSN or Xbox Live, but to be shamed so horrifically and still not offering on console chat (a feature of the original xbox had well over a decade ago) is complete BS. They can easily add it, but either refuse to realize the worth (insane logic) or are still so puzzled by the android OS that they don't know how to get it working right. Anyone claiming otherwise is just being biased. Nintendo needs to remove their head from their butts and get with the times or hire someone with a head on his shoulders. This is not the 1990s and they are ruining their chance to stay on top and grow. I can already see their slow fall into a distant third, especially once PS/Xbox next come out and Nintendo is still peddling separate chat and two to ten year old ports for full $60 retail when it is $10-20 everywhere else.
This mode was surprisingly better then I thought. It at least offered an easier alternative to Bowsers seed run money farming. So I was able to get the 3 new costumes in record time. Nice free addition Nintendo. Now get on some massive 2-3 new worlds DLC for $10 going.
How dense can the comment section be, obviously Nintendo made a deal with Hulu, or is pushing some insane ToS garbage that Netflix thinks is not worth it. Nintendo does have a history of being thick headed and the success of the Switch might have pushed them back into their 1990s mindset when it comes to apps. The absolute lack of apps does point to this as well.
This just shows how inexperience of their coding team. The signs that the rejection of a partnership with Cyanogen definitely show. Nintendo is insanely green when it comes to the android OS. The fact that the eShop is worse then the one that launched with the 3DS and Wii just hammers that home. They also cannot figure out how to run a simple chat app in the background that the original Xbox could run 20 years ago. They need to hire people with experience and partner with Discord to easily fix this issue. OS updates are also taking far too long and the network is taking ages longer then it should. I love the minimalism of the OS, but let's be honest, Minimalist does not mean less options. The OS is not very robust in the way titles are shown and handled. We need more options for everything and they also need to stop forcing whatever garbage ToS they are onto the apps. Netflix makes an app for everything and was making one for Switch, they were even rumored to have given one to Nintendo for approval. Then out of nowhere the story changed and most likely no app will come.
TL;DR: Nintendo, please get more experienced Android coders, partner with Discord to get a usable chat experience, update the OS more often, get the network up and running, and push the OS out of the featureless alpha/beta that it currently resides.
Can you make a useful article and go through what comes in the update or break anything down. Not everything needs to be an ad cashgrab YouTube link. You need actual articles to keep websites from dying.
Nintendo continues to make questionable decisions that have plagued them forever. Right now they helped push for garbage like 10 year old ports at premium prices like LA Noire or Doom at nearly double the cost of every other platform and performance issues. There is a rumor that Burnout Paradise might also come. We need to pushback against decade old games, especially when priced over $20 and when newer games are ported they need to be done right to eliminate performance issues. It is a slap in the face and we need to stop buying into myths like porting being as costly as making the game in the first place.
If we do this properly, games like LA Noire might still come, but at a much more reasonable $20 and games like Doom will be truly viable options to play the game instead of the current trade off of portability over performance decision. Doom also shouldn't be price above $30 but I could eat $40 for the first 6 months. $60 is just a slap in the face just like and we should show Bethesda that yet another buggy port for full premium prices will not be accepted.
Why would they not do research? I can buy a cheap plastic stand for over $10 or I can spend another $5 and get a fully adjustable metal tablet stand. Can we get some researchers on this website?
I'm done with Nintendo's F2P games, Animal crossing was fun, but got boring and repetitive in less then a week. Fire Emblem was over simplified and the biggest cash grab garbage out there. Mario was the only value buy to date for Nintendo and even then it ends up being repetitive play everyday drivel. Still well worth the $10 imo. The rest are not worth spending anything, unless you enjoy spending money accomplishing nothing.
Meh, looks like yet another I Am Setsuna pile of garbage. Can we get a AAA team on a game outside of Project Octapath. Who cares if we get more RPGs if they are mediocre trash.
People are quick to blame Netflix, but i would look more at the fact that not many apps even exist. Netflix has apps on everything and to not put one of the Switch speaks more volumes about Nintendo then anything else. Perhaps there is some insane new coding limitation or stringent rules that Nintendo is known for having. We know it's online infrastructure is garbage and they intentionally limit patches and put other baseless limitations in place trying to protect the flimsy network. This might change, but until the online service is launched and they get a decent version of the eShop or OS features that ever other Nintendo console launched with or did insanely better. The OS has no real apps to speak of, even the Hulu app is garbage. I don't have experience on other platforms, so I cannot speak about an issue with all of the apps or merely a Switch limitation. If the Netflix app would be that bad why bother. The Wii Netflix app had better browsing way back when. I'm pretty sure Netflix and others have applied with apps and been denied by Nintendo's ignorant policies most likely to protect their joke of a network infrastructure.
We know now, how much the denial of help from the Cyanogen mod maker hurt them, but they need to get off their ass and hire new blood already or do anything else besides let the team that has been behind their past network infrastructure take a year and avhalf just to launch an online service that won't even have built in chat. Their inexperience is an issue and continues to drive issues, by leaving the OS in a stable and clean, but feature complete beta state. They need to stop being afraid of outside help, just because they got rejected once. Take the invitation from discord and make it the built in chat app. Even the original Xbox had voice chat and the Switch is lagues ahead of it, so their is no excuse for the OS to be in such a state of garbage over a year after launch and have no chat (even the DS had chat for a handful of games).
I am not sure why this surprises so many people. Nintendo has been anti Indie for years (outside of major hits like World of Goo). and nothing much changed with the Switch, they loosened up a bit but have stopped QA when involving reasoning. Allowing such garbage as Physical Contact: Speed another garbage rehash of card game collections that is exceptionally overpriced. They also allow stream green-light garbage games like Vaccine yet claim some games are not suitable because they are too "mature."
TL;DR: QA is more gone then ever but they still deny games based on garbage logic, so not much has changed.
So you just mentioned everything everyone is talking about, since when is wild speculation news. Damn, this website is not that far from complete gutter trash with articles like this and articles just linking to videos.
If you have never heard of Discord, they currently provides the best chat platform on PC. You want them to release an app for the Switch even if Nintendo does restrict it as usual.
I want to be excited, but whenever we get a developer to talk about releasing game, we get even more news about old ports. can we get some recent games already. Unless he is talking about Resident Evil 7, he can F off.

The saddest part of all of this, is how Mario had the greatest value and Fire Emblem Heroes is the most anti-fanfare F2P game that Nintendo have made.

Looks exactly the same sans sprites.
Re: This Portable Nintendo Switch Speaker Is Now Funding On Kickstarter
Re: Bayonetta 2 Director Yusuke Hashimoto Leaves PlatinumGames
What I want to know, after doing a bit of research, is how we can get Nier Automata on Switch. I didn't know Platinum Games worked on that game. Not even Bayonetta is that good.
Re: Random: The Carlton Dance Might Be Fair Game For Fortnite After All
A "Specialist" working for the US copyright office means nothing.

Re: Random: The Conspiracy Chatter Is Growing: Maybe There Is No Star Fox Grand Prix
Re: Get Zelda: Link's Awakening For Just £2.69 Before The Switch Remake Arrives (Europe)
I got so excited because the title was clickbait and omitted DX. People that want it on 3DS already have it. This site gets worse every day. At least list a bunch of sales and make a legit non-clickbait informative article.
Re: Nintendo Planning Ways To "Boost The Appeal" Of Switch Online Service On A Yearly Basis
Re: Nintendo Confirms It Has Unannounced Titles Set To Launch This Year, Delays Not Anticipated
Perhaps I was wrong and that Mystery Retro Studios game was not canceled...
Re: Nintendo President Says 20 Million Switch Target Failed Due To "Insufficient" Efforts To Convey Its Appeal
Re: Nintendo Will Continue To Sell The 3DS, As Long As There Is Consumer Demand For It
So it was a slow news day? How is stating the obvious news? Obviously, they will keep selling something if it continues to sell. No reason to make a story out of everything they say.
Re: Takahashi, Miyamoto And Shiota Discuss Proportion Of Female Employees In Nintendo’s Development Departments
Am I one of the few that could care less about the number of females working at a company? What matters more to me, is that they hire the most talented people to work on their games. Gender, Eye/Hair/Skin color or Sexual Preference don't matter when it comes to making great games.
Re: Limited Run Reveals The Collector's Edition For ToeJam & Earl: Back In The Groove
Re: Feature: Please Understand: Unpacking Nintendo's Vision For Metroid Prime 4
Re: Nintendo Allegedly Cancelled Localisation Of Mother 3 Due To Its Controversial Aspects
To be fair, controversial for Nintendo is much different than other companies. Bravely Default had bare skin in it and was censored when brought to American audiences. Which is fair because Chibi's are not very adult looking by design. Nintendo tries to avoid any controversy.
Re: All Secret SNES Data Has Just Been Removed From Nintendo Switch Online's NES App
Re: Rumour: Switch Seen Running Android In The Wild
Re: Metroid Prime 4 Development Scrapped, Will Be Restarted Alongside Retro Studios
Re: "Please Understand" Nintendo Is Replacing Its Controversial Creators Program With New Guidelines
Re: Pokémon: Let's Go Pikachu And Eevee Won't Include Pro Controller Support
Re: The Switch's Home Menu Uses Less Than 200 KB Of Resources For Super-Fast Load Times
Re: Miyamoto Calls On His Industry Peers To Deliver Games At Fixed Prices
Re: Here's How Voice Chat Works In Fortnite On Nintendo Switch
Re: Conversations To Bring YouTube And Netflix To Switch Are "On-Going"
Re: Guide: The Secrets to Making Millions in Luigi's Balloon World
This mode was surprisingly better then I thought. It at least offered an easier alternative to Bowsers seed run money farming. So I was able to get the 3 new costumes in record time. Nice free addition Nintendo. Now get on some massive 2-3 new worlds DLC for $10 going.
Re: Netflix Gets An Update, But Not On The Console You Were Perhaps Expecting
How dense can the comment section be, obviously Nintendo made a deal with Hulu, or is pushing some insane ToS garbage that Netflix thinks is not worth it. Nintendo does have a history of being thick headed and the success of the Switch might have pushed them back into their 1990s mindset when it comes to apps. The absolute lack of apps does point to this as well.
Re: The Nintendo Switch News Channel Took Almost A Year To Create
Re: Luigi’s Balloon World Is Now Available In Super Mario Odyssey
Can you make a useful article and go through what comes in the update or break anything down. Not everything needs to be an ad cashgrab YouTube link. You need actual articles to keep websites from dying.
Re: Gearbox CEO Doesn't See Borderlands 3 Coming To Nintendo Switch
Re: Rumour: Fire Emblem Fates Could Be Getting A Nintendo Switch Port
Why Fates??? Just more Nintendo out of the loop thinking. Fates is one of the least liked Fire Emblem stories.
Re: Yes, You Can Charge Your Nintendo Switch In Tabletop Mode
Why would they not do research? I can buy a cheap plastic stand for over $10 or I can spend another $5 and get a fully adjustable metal tablet stand. Can we get some researchers on this website?
Re: Video: Digital Foundry Puts Breath of the Wild, MK8 Deluxe and Splatoon 2 to the Test
So we have graduated from Nintendolife videos as articles to now outside videos as articles. Have you just given up on news and editorials?
Re: Put Your Wallet Away, Mario Kart Tour Will Be "Free To Start"
I'm done with Nintendo's F2P games, Animal crossing was fun, but got boring and repetitive in less then a week. Fire Emblem was over simplified and the biggest cash grab garbage out there. Mario was the only value buy to date for Nintendo and even then it ends up being repetitive play everyday drivel. Still well worth the $10 imo. The rest are not worth spending anything, unless you enjoy spending money accomplishing nothing.
Re: Review: Xenoblade Chronicles 2 (Switch)
How the hell can you adopt someone else's review as a video? Man this website keeps heading further into the trash just to push it's YouTube presence.
Re: Lost Sphear
Meh, looks like yet another I Am Setsuna pile of garbage. Can we get a AAA team on a game outside of Project Octapath. Who cares if we get more RPGs if they are mediocre trash.
Re: Sorry Netflix Fans, You Won't Be Watching Stranger Things On Your Switch Anytime Soon
Re: Indie Dev Talks About Having Switch Proposals Turned Down By Nintendo Five Times
Re: Feature: What We Expect From The Inevitable January 2018 Nintendo Direct
So you just mentioned everything everyone is talking about, since when is wild speculation news. Damn, this website is not that far from complete gutter trash with articles like this and articles just linking to videos.
Re: Discord CEO Reiterates His Company Is Keen To Work With Nintendo On Switch Voice Chat
If you have never heard of Discord, they currently provides the best chat platform on PC. You want them to release an app for the Switch even if Nintendo does restrict it as usual.
Re: Capcom Could Be Bringing Even More Ports To Nintendo Switch
I want to be excited, but whenever we get a developer to talk about releasing game, we get even more news about old ports. can we get some recent games already. Unless he is talking about Resident Evil 7, he can F off.
