Ah, I forgot "Guide", I'm losing my touch.

Good video, very informative. Makes me realize I'm not going to find 90% of balloons I look for b/c I don't move that fast or well.

I will try every world once but that will probably be it for me.

Oh, one cool thing not mentioned in the video is Luigis different greetings based on what Mario is wearing. Some of them were funny.

Already got max money thanks to the Moneybags on top of the Steam Gardens. Just travel to the flag there, hit the Moneybag - rinse and repeat. It does take hours, though.

@GoldenGamer88 I did the same thing. Took ages.

Omg, I love the Pikachu and Helix art!

@rjejr you beat me to it, I only came here to tag you and urge you to paste your previous comment in here, since your prophecy seems on its way to be fulfilled 😁
Well, if you’re right, ypu should have at least another 3-4 articles where to spam it ahahahahah

What makes Mario 64 the best mario game is that getting a single star feels like an accomplishment. Collecting 120 stars in Mario 64 took a lot longer than 999 moons in Mario Odyssey

@Biff_ARMStrong That's because each star was a mission that had a purpose in the level. Oddysey had a lot of filler moons and only a handful of them were actually cool to collect.

@Devlind Yep, but also you had the 100 coin challenges which were amazing and a great challenge. Getting all the stars in Mario 64 is one of my gaming highlights. Getting every moon in Mario Odyssey... who cares, next game ....

Does anyone else remember Luigi legitimately running a casino in the SM64DS/NSMB mini games? Maybe this is an expansion to his empire?

"I'm-a the dealer, Mario"

Im finishing Owlboy and I jump back to Odyssey. Would like to play as Luigi, Wario and Waluigi to make different. I like so much Mario but its just to put so variety and different gameplay.

@justin233 Yeah, I did listen to some podcasts during to make the time pass by a bit faster.

The only winner is Luigi, who floats there whilst doing absolutely nothing.

I'm in love with this mode. Thanks for the tips, Alex! I might have copied some of your hiding places!

@Emperor-Palpsy You can pop his balloon. It really seems to freak him out. Luigi scares easily. He has seen some things.

@BenAV I used to think that but then I played the game again, and it’s really satisfying to find some of the really hidden ones. Like trying to find the second moon in all of the warp pipe stages.

@clvr It just happened to pop up on my twitter feed, so I came here and posted, watched the video, and that's about it for today I think. 😆

836 unique moons means that Mario Odyssey will keep my attention for years to come just like 64 did when I was a kid. Balloon World is really addicting and is a good way to grind coins to inflate that moon count to 999.

@BenAV
Thought I was the only one. On reflection I felt pretty empty by the collectathon it became. The sense of joy was gone pretty quickly when you were finding them in bushes and other ridiculous places. No sense of achievement.
Loved the last few levels due to toughness but everything else... dunno just left me empty.

Had no desire to go back after completing the story

@BenAV
This is the first time that I haven't been interested in a new 3D Mario game. I played the first few hours and there just isn't enough platforming for me.

@Biff_ARMStrong true!... I blitzed Odyssey in less than 2 weeks with 999 moons and all outfits and just the last moon level thing left as I got bored lol ... 64 sh!ts all over Odyssey...... And this balloon dlc is crap, online stuff is ass, and I was expecting something proper like different levels with collecting balloons as Luigi but nah... Huge shame, Odyssey let's down again and again what happened to Mario games?

A lot of strange negativity here for such a high quality game.

@GoldenGamer88 Isn’t the beanstalk bonus game in Bowser’s Kingdom the fastest way to get coins? 170 coins in about 20 seconds, land next to the seed, throw back in pot, repeat. Had to raise enough coins to buy all the new DLC clothes yesterday and it took me maybe just over an hour or so.

I loved Odyessy - it’s one of the most fun games I’ve ever played. But I ain’t a grinder, so couldn’t care less about all the moons - I was always collecting just enough to see what next wonder would be unlocked

I love Odyssey. It’s one of most fun games I’ve played in years... but I don’t care much about 100% collecting everything so after the story there’s not much reason to go back to it.
I’ll check this balloons stuff eventually, but right now Bayonetta takes up most of my playing time.

This mode was surprisingly better then I thought. It at least offered an easier alternative to Bowsers seed run money farming. So I was able to get the 3 new costumes in record time. Nice free addition Nintendo. Now get on some massive 2-3 new worlds DLC for $10 going.

@alex olney You need a larger size Nintendo life t-shirt. The one in the video your wearing looks very uncomfortable and small! Looks funny on you!!!😂

The fact Alex decided to make a video on Luigi's Baloon World ensures I won't be downloading the update.

I didn't watch the video BTW.

Now where is Mario’s ballon world and super Luigi odyssey
