Non-article related but still Atari-related: Anyone here ever play Explosive Diarrhea for 2600? Was a homebrew available through Atari Age (if I remember right). Very difficult but the name alone made it excellent. Wonder if we’ll ever get some DLC showcasing wacky projects like that.

Asking the community in general:

I’m pretty miserable at fighting games, but I remember seeing these around as a kid and thought they looked so cool. I’d love to jump in and see what I missed all those years ago. Do you all think this release is a good beginner platform to “git gudder” on? Or should I stick with another series?

I’m trying to temper my expectations, but I am looking forward to this. As others have stated, Yars holds up quite well today. I know it’s a small part of this game, but I’m hoping the essence is maintained.

What can I say? I like ‘em all!

The older I get, the less physical stuff I pick up, but I do enjoy the odd item from time to time. This seems worth it, for sure.
