Making it so I have to play a game to get these has actively killed my interest in getting them, I just like checking to see what's available and "buying" them with the silver coins, I'm not looking to shuffle around my switch games to get some icons

This became a never buy for me as soon as I saw it was THIRTY TWO GIGABYTES download.

I like the look of it a lot but still curious if it's a good game beyond doing a great job bringing the aesthetic. I hope it is!

I played it and loved it. It's a Swery game, with all that entails about jankyness but long live slightly messy but actually odd videogames with extreme amount of vibes and not just doing the same old thing over and over and over again like AAA games.

Yes, but only because Pokemon has been the same game since the gameboy. Even this "New open world" will probably just boil down to being exactly a Pokemon game. I used to love the series and have a lot of nostalgia for it through to the GBA, but I have lost a tonne of interest, though Arceus helped bring it back.

Super Mario Sunshine is easily the worst mainline Mario game in my opinion, yet that's just becuase of the company it keeps and I find it's messiness and brokeness and stupidness still compellingly fun.

I wonder if there will be new characters in the season. I'm not happy with the microtransactions with this game like everybody else but I did have enough fun to unlock cloud and squall for free (well with the free crystals to get on the season pass)
