If they kept the cost of a higher harddrive out by outsourcing it to microsd that works for me since I don't really buy much digitally, but I do think that 32GB is crazily low for a 2017 system that you will be looking to sell things digitally on.

@Dr_Lugae it took Minecraft 4 years to sell 40 million because it costs something over 20 bucks. Mario Run was already downloaded 90 million times. Do you think Candy Crush hasn't had micropurchases from %20 of people downloading it?

If they priced this game as $3 and got even %20 purchase rate they'd have $54 million and I'm sure the purchase rate would have been higher.

This is a cool rumor, the coolest thing about the switch so far as I'll be playing Zelda on my wii u.

Would like to hear more about the games soon so a VC release isn't the coolest thing about a new system.

The answer is incredibly simple: Nintendo needs to get 3rd party companies to make games for their system.

The idea of just playing the N+1 iteration of a 30 year old franchise is going to leave them with a smaller and smaller userbase until they are completely irrelevant/go third party

In what I'm sure they are dreading, I can't look at a new Harvest Moon game without seeing how staid it is compared to Stardew Valley and how little they are doing to stir things up. Playing as Mario and Peach seems so tepid and done than the new things you can do in Stardew Valley :-/ Feels weird to be jump shippy on a series I've liked for so long.

No need to call it a ripoff when the developer clearly states the influence, especially when this game has been free online for years and will stay so.

I used to play this back on the NES and it's not that bad. Definitely agree there are better games to get on the virtual console, of course, but I'd say this will keep you interested for a bit if you don't mind it being pretty dated.

Gold Points for buying the more expensive Digital Version seems kind of transparent to me...

The Etrian Odyssey series is the best game series yet. I haven't felt as much fandom in a long time, but after being intringued by Jeremy Parish' articles on the game I'm completely in and I can't wait to play this, even though the Europe version of Etrian Odyssey Untold 2 just came out a few weeks ago.

Also take into account that we have no idea what the NX is and if it's not a portable system a mainline pokemon game won't be on it.

The Etrian Odyssey series is my favorite series currently going. I'm nervous about it being a 3DS release only because I worry about the end of 3DS support and maybe they wouldn't localize it. I hope not!

Put SNES games on (new) 3DS virtual console, they are sitting on money and a great non-aggressive way to push the New 3DS
