@gaga64 Yes, that's what they are suggesting - but only to some. These things are subjective. They are presenting the pros and cons in a way that you can make your own decision based on preferences/taste.
meh, my friend and I are massive fans and he said this is subpar. I keep it in my Steam wishlist, but I'd prefer to keep playing a good game, like FighterZ.
I played bits of it with a friend on SNES when we were 8-10 but I played thru and beat it on GBA when I was 12 or 13. I replayed it on Wii but should really give some time to it on Switch. It's very top notch.
@burninmylight Exactly. Ultimately there was some very charming and well written characters... Even with the localization typos! But yeah, exactly what you said. There's nothing to buy with all your money, so you're stuck tossing your kid in the air for literal years!!!
Even as a kid I didn't want to play past raising your kid to a toddler. There isn't anything to do in the game once you've bought the milking room basically.
@COVIDberry He is a fascinating composer/musician. Check out his Chip Tanaka work if you haven't. I think the Super Metroid intro came to him when he was riding his motorbike or car?
EpicGames in Victoria, BC is an amazing retro game store. The prices are fair, but that means some very expensive games. Still they always price them on par with online prices, if not slightly lower.
Only Zelda game I did that with was Spirit Tracks. I was sick of it at the time, but I wish I beat the final boss, as I've beaten every Zelda game (except Zelda II, Triforce Heroes and technically Spirit Tracks). I put down Breath of the Wild on Wii U for a long time, but picked it up again, did a few more shrines, and beat the final boss easily.
I loved this game on Wii U, but never beat it because I mostly played it with friends, but then moved and didn't have homies to play with. I dunno if I want to buy it full price right away, but I might end up doing so. The online multiplayer is a huge selling feature along with all the upgrades and a whole new game as well. Ports aren't always worth it, but I appreciate all the work put into this one. Such a fun game.
Wish I got the chance to play Kirby and the Rainbow Curse... I loved my Wii U. At least my sister is keeping it safe. Still a few exclusives I wouldn't mind delving into. I also downloaded a lot of GBA games on it
I love both of them. So I'm not irked like some by other people's opinions on it as the 'greatest sequel ever' or 'boring no soul sequel'. lol. they are companion pieces to me.
@Zuljaras I'm with you (in the record world, it's really annoying to me that someone will buy every vinyl color varient and keep them sealed???), but I kind of think it's OK if there is one archival society, or something of the sort. Otherwise all physical media will definitely deteriorate far faster. If there is but one to look at that works in a museum in 100 years, I think that's good! But yes, I want to open up that E-reader in the picture...so...badly...
lmao glad the initial comments are my thoughts. If they wanted to impress, they'd release the full Pokemon roster for Sword and Shield. But I would expect...disappointment!
I don't know why people even discuss things like this. It's impressive. Some people have clunker PCs that they have to set the settings low, and get something similar. I'll get this on PC at some point simply because I've put a lot of work into my PC for the past few years. Love my Switch, but I save some games for PC.
Par for the course with Chinese censorship. Obviously I don't think it should be outright cancelled across the country, but they've made far worse decisions to be outraged by, like imprisoning hundreds of thousands of people and forcing them into labour.
As for the offending joke itself, even if you don't agree with censorship, that is objectively terrible writing.
@Guitario Here's a beauty that went up in the past month at a local games store in Victoria BC. I'm not living there right now, but it's my favourite games store ever. Pretty pricey still, but honestly not bad for the new screen, new charging port, and custom Famicom colours!
@Jakiboy I know a local game store that does amazing mods on original GBA's. GBA SP-101's are kind of hard to come by. The folks I know mod the original gameboy to have a bright screen, USB C charging etc. They look great. I think it's more about functionality. The system in this article plays ROMs, so that's the unique factor here.
