Re: Memory Pak: When Harvest Moon Taught Me About Death

@burninmylight Exactly. Ultimately there was some very charming and well written characters... Even with the localization typos! But yeah, exactly what you said. There's nothing to buy with all your money, so you're stuck tossing your kid in the air for literal years!!!

Re: Soapbox: I Never Completed Breath Of The Wild, And I Never Will

Only Zelda game I did that with was Spirit Tracks. I was sick of it at the time, but I wish I beat the final boss, as I've beaten every Zelda game (except Zelda II, Triforce Heroes and technically Spirit Tracks). I put down Breath of the Wild on Wii U for a long time, but picked it up again, did a few more shrines, and beat the final boss easily.

I loved this game on Wii U, but never beat it because I mostly played it with friends, but then moved and didn't have homies to play with. I dunno if I want to buy it full price right away, but I might end up doing so. The online multiplayer is a huge selling feature along with all the upgrades and a whole new game as well. Ports aren't always worth it, but I appreciate all the work put into this one. Such a fun game.

Wish I got the chance to play Kirby and the Rainbow Curse... I loved my Wii U. At least my sister is keeping it safe. Still a few exclusives I wouldn't mind delving into. I also downloaded a lot of GBA games on it

@Zuljaras I'm with you (in the record world, it's really annoying to me that someone will buy every vinyl color varient and keep them sealed???), but I kind of think it's OK if there is one archival society, or something of the sort. Otherwise all physical media will definitely deteriorate far faster. If there is but one to look at that works in a museum in 100 years, I think that's good! But yes, I want to open up that E-reader in the picture...so...badly...

Re: Monster Hunter Movie's Chinese Premiere Reportedly Cancelled Due To Racist Joke

Par for the course with Chinese censorship. Obviously I don't think it should be outright cancelled across the country, but they've made far worse decisions to be outraged by, like imprisoning hundreds of thousands of people and forcing them into labour.

As for the offending joke itself, even if you don't agree with censorship, that is objectively terrible writing.
