Notice they aren't insulting Mick - unlike some people here - workloads can often be unpredictable and difficult.

Hell, I'd be happy with an art book? Won't be buying a Japanese script though...well, maybe in the distant future as I brush up on my Japanese, ha. I'm playing a fan translated GBA cart of Mother 3 right now, it's absolutely great. Playing on a SP AGS101 as well, hooray! A trilogy release would be great. I don't know why they don't have more interest in the whole Mother series really, it's very unique and engaging while still playing like a classic RPG. Earthbound was great (beat it 6ish months ago), and I'm sure I'll be amazed by the time I beat Mother 3 (it's already amazing). Mother 1 is more like the first Final Fantasy for me - I really like the whole design, aesthetic and gameplay, but it's too oldschool, tough and cryptic lol. Could probably play through it ez though with all the newschool savestates/rewind business. I'm not above using that to play/experience classic games I don't want to spend months mastering.

Yeah, I honestly wish they cashed in on some DLC with this one. I still grabbed it on sale because it's great, and I'm very happy that they fixed the battle system. Still, some DLC would've been a nice holdover. There's never been 2 MarioKart games on one system, so it seems strange (to me!) for MarioKart 9 to be coming. Still, I'd be happy if it was...huge.

I always named this my favourite Zelda, but I must admit, the only time I beat it was with a guide when I was 12. Got all the masks. I played through about half of the 3DS version, but got distracted. It seemed to have enough QOL improvements that it might be possible to navigate the game without one. I was enamored with the atmosphere and story, much like all the other folks that call this their favourite.

@meltendo rare fish have always been rare in Animal Crossing. In previous games I felt like it was insane luck to even catch one Arapiama over the course of years in other games. And I biffed catching rare bugs to never see another for a year. Idk people want it too easy.

@nintendoknife well idk I play pretty casually and caught an atlas moth yesterday and the day before. I just find everyone takes all this crap way too seriously. I never completed anything in my GameCube town and I played that for five years!

@mousieone People were abusing exploits to make easy amounts of huge cash. Well, I guess the interest rate must have been higher in this one than others? If it was significant enough to notice? And as for tarantula farming, idk, I don't have time for stuff like that.

@Luigi_Skywalker Yeah if you want to play 6 hours a day. You can catch everything and plant enough fruit trees to make good progress over a few months playing an hour or two a day. I have tons of bridges and inclines, still see the odd turantula, and have two extra rooms in my house. Playing it way faster than precious games too.

@NinjaSyao Splatoon 2 functions great as well.

I'll still pay $20 a month for basic online (I like the access to SNES games, playing Splatoon 2 online, Animal Crossing online) since it's cheap as well. Ultimate probably would have held me longer if the online was better.

Good on them for owning up to it, but I think a lot can be solved by not jumping to conclusions. Or through direct communication. I had a upstairs neighbor who I regularly hung out with call the cops on me and my band at 9:27pm when we were finishing up...she didn't bother phoning, texting or informing us that she had just got a new job requiring her to wake up at 3:30am. I don't think a REmake of 4 is needed, it's still pretty fresh for me. 2 and 3 needed an overhaul, but 4 seems pretty new. I guess I'm almost 30 though, ha. If it means sales, then why not I suppose.

Well, I've sprayed contact cleaner on the face buttons (straight in the crevices), because I got some Dr. Pepper on it. I had to scrub it with a soft bristle toothbrush to get the stickiness out.

I find it laughable that people are 'disappointed in others for putting political messages in a game'. Maybe you'd feel a little differently if there was the omnipresent threat of a authoritarian regime threatening your livelihood.

Beautiful! I'm happy I finally got to play and beat Earthbound on the Wii U VC. I can still play it again on my SNES mini if I'd like. I'm playing Mother 3 on a fan translation cart on my SP 101. Pretty amazing.

Not really disappointed. I don't see much of a point of expos, besides fans being able to dress up, socialize and trade things, but that could be done seperately. I find the cost overhead at conferences for OTHER industries to be a huge waste of capital, and E3 is no different. Do a stage show from the Office, or from Home. It can still be cool, amazing, creative, and save money! Hearing about games via any means is exciting to me

@nessisonett not really. People pay good money for repackaged old music, books, movies...some of those involve tech being worse at the older time, but the new product will still be more expensive. This makes it portable as well. If you can't afford it or already played, we'll, great. I might get a game on Switch, wait for a sale. Never understood whining on prices. Things cost money. These are fat collections, and they will go down in price.

@Yorumi While I am not a giant fan, saying it 'doesn't work out of the box' is kind of silly - plenty of N64 games required a memory card purchased separately.

Would've never picked up on it myself. Maybe if it was a game I was playing close-up on PC, but it just looks beautiful and smooth.

But I caught like, ten things I couldn't donate to Blathers until today, from yesterday. Would be hard to find enough unique bugs and fish.

I definitely thought about this, but I'm a filthy casual, so I ate some food, played some FFVII and went to sleep.

Radical idea here...I'm not the biggest fan of any of the art in any of the remakes of 4,5, or 6 so far...do them in the style of Octopath Traveler!!!

I am very happy playing a fan translation cart of Mother 3 I got on ebay on my ags-101 SP. Honestly, it would probably get censored in the West. Best Earthbound for the first time a few months back, it was amazing. Not sure if I'll get around to Mother 1 or not!

I fully support this and think it's amazing. I don't care hugely about graphics and whatnot, but there are certain games that I would like to see the 'full' beauty of. I love my Switch and PC, so this is a godsend, in my view. Would be nice if this could be patched in for DQXI but I doubt it! There are enough Steam sales and Switch sales that I don't have to blow full price on both versions.

Totally forgot about this, used to read the occasional updates in Nintendo Power!

Could never choose between PC and Switch for this. Guess I'll probably get it for both when it's on sale. That's really cool.

@BulkSlash Talk to all the kids whose parents stayed up all night beating Mario for them...not me, but I've heard a lot of tales from pals about their parents becoming obsessed with SMB3!

While I do hope that these types of mechanics are removed from games (what happened to wanting to develop a game with a dream team for fun?), I don't have much sympathy for the uncontrolled consumer. If it were a kid hijakcing his parents credit card, sure.

@oh_no_melon Commercials could easily show older fans (well, I'm 28) interacting with young fans. I love showing games to my coworkers kids at staff events. Like other commenters said, get some representation! That being said, I don't watch commercials....

That is damn beautiful. Wish I could be getting it, but I'm not dedicated to take the financial loss!
