@AndyC_MK84 Sea of Thieves has at least been improved year-by-year. It's a great game. Definitely different from previous Rare output. I'm with you though.

That one gal sure has HUGE shoes XD. I enjoyed dating sims for about one year when I was 20, lonely, and in school. I think that's the market. Literally couldn't care less now.

@Munchlax Basically what they've been doing Gen III onwards. A few steps forwards, a few steps back. I don't think things really got too bad until X & Y, but I remember taking note at the age of 12 that features I enjoyed in Gold/Silver were missing in Ruby/Sapphire...

Ehhh uuhhhh ummm. I was born in 1991 and grew up on both in synchrony. I love both but I'd say I lean 2D. I just love those portable adventures. I think it'd be sweet to have a huge expansive 2D Zelda. Everything has been remakes basically since Minish Cap.

I still haven't even bought it! I'm almost done Awakening..I think? I loved the two GBA ones, Path of Radiance on Gamecube, fell off a bit but got back in for Awakening. Will pick up Three Houses at some point. I just take a long time. Glad the game sold well.

and yes, the open world city was boring and a bit clunky, but the game more than made up for it

@BenAV I'm in the same boat...probably been ten years since I played it! and can't wait to play the second, which I missed out on.

but just to note, I fell off on keeping up to date with Pokemon when Black/White came out. Haven't actually beaten a Pokemon game after that. I completed my Diamond Dex in highschool.

and I think they'd be smart to at least patch in the Starters at some point. That would probably move some more copies of the games.

@BowtieShyGuy They couldn't put "Gotta Catch Em All!" on the box, I remember being 12! I still loved Ruby, but even at that age, I was miffed they took aware features (day of the week, time based stuff) that were present in Gold'Silver.

I could see them potentially getting these Pokes in there. I don't really care though, I buy some games close to release, some I enjoy 10 years later. I've been enjoying Pokemon White a fair bit. Still haven't played Sword/Shield. Might some day.

Whenever I see these, I'm like "Yay cool I'mma rate some games!!". Then I'm like "whoa, that's too much work".

I enjoyed Pikmin 3 but beat it on Wii U. A triple-pack or even Pikmin 1+2 probably would've done better. It has very little in terms of additional content. I mean, that's also the case with other Wii U re-releases as well, but the Mario platformers have multiplayer that I think would make them do a little more well (along with the name Mario).

Got turned onto this a couple months ago. Need to play it but pretty bogged down with studying. I will though

I never thought about it but WarioWare 99 honestly makes the most sense to me. That would be so fun. I haven't really sunk a lot of time into a warioware game since the Wii one. That one was so much fun to get people involved with.

Well, it's still cheap for me. But I agree with everyone else. The limited-time stuff is dumb, and not putting this on the NES app is dumb also.

@AlexSwitch10 Same here! My favourite versions right now are GBA carts with updated SNES audio. I don't like the new graphical updates, but get it if some people do. Just widescreen would be GORGEOUS.

@AlexSwitch10 imagine if they actually did them justice. 1-3 and 4-6 could be two collections. Original graphics and then updated?

On topic, the only launch title I got was Bomberman...hardly played it. Just never been my thing, would probs be more fun to experience with 4 players. Had Fast RMX on Wii U, and it was pretty sweet. Had the original Shovel Knight on 3DS, really should get the collection! It was an OK release lineup, buoyed by Breath of the Wild. Can't really think of any 'sensational' launches really, ha. It's always either a smattering of decent games, or one awesome flagship title beside one mediocre one.

Actually it was definitely late 2018. I picked one up used a bit after Pokemon Let's Go! Pikachu and Eevee were released. I was stoked for those games as an original Pokemon fan. They were a bit disappointing, but still pretty.

Hmmm I forget when I got my switch. Must have been partway through 2018.

@Steelhead I just wished they went with the original art instead of the cellphone style sprites!

@Heavyarms55 I think maybe you're right, that it's definitely gotten worse. I think that's because it's just gotten so much bigger. It's ballooned and encompassed so many people.

@Kriven I'm 29, and looking back on all the time I spent on forums when I was 13 onwards, specifically on gamefaqs...man, what a bunch of drivel. A lot of hatred, a lot of impulsivity. It's really rare to find a productive forum of many sorts, especially when socializing is an element. Old discussion forums and newsgroups though, there's information to be mined there.

He's kind of like a band like Simple Plan. An adult man that makes content for teenagers.

Even if I gave a **** about his 'controversy', he'd still be boring to me.

@Rambler It was pretty exciting back then when those re-releases came out for Wii. They didn't really make a big deal out of it though, from what I remember.

I already played and beat this on Wii U, so it's a pass for me, much like New Super Mario Bros U Deluxe. Great game, but even if there was a lot of extra content, I'd probably pass. Good for people that haven't played it yet though.
