I'm enjoying the game, as many are. You are perfectly within your rights to consider it a turd. I personally research items before buying them and understand whether or not it will suit me. I do not buy games and act shocked by its performance when it has been reported on very thoroughly, and those performace issues are not enough of an issue, personally, for me. Stay well.

I'm sorry, but working in retail and having someone say 'I bought this without any research at all, now I don't like it!' is extremely annoying.

@jtwrenn Where did I call people idiots? Seems like pretty practical advice to simply not purchase a game for the first few days if you're concerned about performance issues that were reported on immediately and before release.

I mean I get frame drops constantly, let's be realistic here lol. But I knew what I was getting into and I'm having a great time.

Kinda goofy to get a refund. If you want to guarantee the quality of a product, then wait a day or two before buying it.

Having these is bloody great. 3 is my favourite so I'm most excited for that, but this goes a far way to making NSO worth it.

Enjoying on the PC. I remember DB Fighterz wait times for online on Switch being waaaayyyy too long considering how fast they are on PC.

I am really enjoying all of this 'insider' knowledge from back then, especially since this was when I was very engaged with Nintendo Power, 2004-2008 or so. I had two sets of bongos from having Donkey Konga 2 and Donkey Kong Jungle Beat. I loved both but Jungle Beat was a legit game. I enjoyed Konga 2 but always found the knockoff artists and the song choices very hilarious. I can see why people weren't fans, but it was very fun as a teen to play it with siblings.

Right on, I never picked up the DLC but I got the expansion!

I bought the expansion on release, just because I'm a fool. Still happy with it, especially with this announcement. The N64 games are trickling out, Animal Crossing expansion is included, and I'm very glad the MK8 tracks are included. I'm extremely excited for them.

@pikku It'd obviously be nice to map them, but I have been finding the controls just fine with a Switch Pro controller.

@Nin10dood Back in 2010 my roommate, her bf and I played Mario Party 3 to death. Whichever friend was over was the 4th player and they had to fear us other three. We were tracking our wins on a scoreboard on the wall!

@liljmoore I agree. I understand the price complaints, but a lot of this seems like complaining without actually reading the details or experiencing it.

Haven't experienced any problems with frame rate or input lag. I was impressed by the input being better on the Genesis games than the collection.

Didn't have a problem with the N64 MarioKart sountrack. Maybe they're pressing L to turn it on and off.

@Bustacap good to know. I've mostly been playing Phantasy Star IV so I didn't notice. I wonder if the Genesis Online games will be better.

I never got a chance to play through Yoshi's Story, so I'm excited for that. Very excited for Banjo Kazooie and F-Zero X once they come out.

I think Genesis games are a waste considering the Genesis collection. I got that on sale at one point.

I feel like people that find the original dock 'screen unfriendly' must be yanking their Switches out of the dock at a pretty aggressive angle.

It'd be so nice to have SoTN on Switch. idk about the original, but I thought the Wii NiGHTS sequel was a bad game.

Frankly, I still consider it to be 'cheap' overall - we're simply used to an already extremely cheap NSO. It's going from $24.99 CAD to $63.99 CAD. That IS a large jump, but it's still cheap for a YEARLY subscription.

Too bad it's the final update (apparently) but at least it's impressive. Gyroids is awesome, an island is awesome, coffee shop is awesome. Only thing I think they really missed is shop upgrades...

$65 for one N64 controller here in Canada >___>. Plus tax and shipping. I think I'll find another option lol. I already have a 6 button wireless Genesis controller I use.

Obviously I'd like $5, but I assume it'll be $10. The value is far more in the N64 games than the Genesis games.

I'll wait until my launch Switch bites it, or I have a lot of disposable cash. Glad it's a quality unit. I play mostly docked, but still appreciate playing handheld.

In Smooth Moves, I love the one where you simply...push someone over. They're facing you and coaxing you to do it. There are three different people, and three different 'winning' animations. All of them are HILARIOUS!!! I recall kitty cats all appearing...and Mt. Fuji going off XD

@Purgatorium OeE is the third DS one. They haven't released any of the DS ones in a collection, yet, but hopefully they do. These are extremely good, on par with those ones I would say.

Can't wait to get this. Only played Aria at some point. I really hope the DS ones come at some point, I think Dawn of Souls was the first game I really got 100% on. Maybe I had more patience as a 12 year old, but I liked the grinding for souls.
